Why I Left Orthodox Medicine: Healing for the 21st Century

Rate this book
Lonsdale professes that symptom-treating medicine is not as effective as actually treating the causes of disease. He demonstrates the inability of orthodox medicine to provide viable diagnoses and solutions, and shows that nutrition, exercise, and vitamin/mineral therapy can be used as effective preventative measures.

I was glad to find this out-of-print book for a reasonable price. I appreciate Dr. Lonsdale’s work and his attempt to make his findings and thoughts concerning dysautonomia accessible to the patient and layman

This book was certainly interesting and gave food for thought. However, it was not written for the layman and was more clinical with lots of medical case studies. If you are looking for nutrition advice this is not for you. It is more about what good nutrition can do in very generalised terms.
