Zaya Wayward has survived battles, dark magic, and bloodthirsty rituals. But despite these hard-won victories, she’s still not safe.
In the escalating fight against Morgomoth, now she must play the most crucial role in the war. Zaya must use The Bone Grimoire to unite the Larthalgule and Neathror blades to defeat the merciless leader of the United League of Dissent.
Fighting against old enemies and new ones, Zaya and her friends will need to gather their strength to survive the brutal world of Orthrask as they navigate the perilous journey to Morgomoth’s Kingdom. But determination might not be enough, especially when Jad, the person Zaya loves and trusts the most, is cursed to loathe her.
As secrets, lies, and betrayals are exposed, fighting for freedom could cost Zaya and her friends the ultimate sacrifice.
Hi, I’m Cas, an author of gothic romantasy where romance dances with ruin and magic whispers from the shadows. I write haunting, atmospheric stories shaped by folklore and the idea that some secrets are deeper than graveyards.
My novels live in the space where beauty meets fear and love brushes up against the damned. Expect slow-building dread, forbidden romance, morally grey hearts, and characters who are always one choice away from ruin or redemption.
If you love haunted worlds, dark magic, and romances that feel both dangerous and inevitable, you’ll feel right at home here.

Oh man, poor Zaya. She can't catch a break can she. What an extraordinary woman, who has been through so much, to still put everything and everyone ahead of herself.
Not only that, she comes across as incredibly down to earth. She has the feelings, the niggles, the self-conscious crisis that any of us would do in her position (well, let's face it, I'd have died by now...)
This is such an epic conclusion to the series, filled with drama, angst and gives you such a real desire to have her rise above it all. I really love how it's been all tied in together!
