Another strong entry in Bybee’s Weekday Brides series, with well defined characters and a believable storyline. The love triangle was a bit awkward — perhaps there was really no other way to handle it. Still, I cared about the characters and the family. Michael needed the family conversations. The denouement was very awkward, like many messy situations in life. Maybe I just don’t like as much realism in my escapist reading. Bybee is an engaging author, and am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Another great addition to a series I’m really enjoying. Excited for the next one. Love how new characters are introduced but the lives of characters we previously met continue.9

This entire series, like Bybee's "Not Quite" series, in an enigma for me. It really is what I might call a "trashy romance" in that the writing seems rushed and sloppy yet the story and characters have me staying up all hours to finish the current book and get to the next. The books tend to be quick reads and just plain FUN!!!! And they are so much fun that, UNLIKE "Not Quite," I can't really decide which my favorite is of this series. I have even started out meeting this episode's bride and thinking "Oh, NO!! Not HER!!" and wind up loving and rooting for both members of the couple.
