This book started out fine, but it fell apart right after Fynn and Anderson rescued Maddie from the abandoned house. The rest of the book was filled with one illogical act after another. First of all, what was the purpose of Fynn and Anderson taking Maddie to a safe house? Was there any plan to find and capture Sven or were they thinking they could hide out forever with her? Also, how is it possible for anyone, let alone a shifter with superior senses, to sleep through the murder of someone who's lying in bed next to them? If Fynn had such a keen sense of smell, where he could locate Maddie from miles away, why couldn't he use that skill again to locate Anderson, after his abduction? In addition, what happened to the thugs who had taken away Fynn's and Maddie's guns and were outside the building where the fight to the death took place? Did they simply vanish into thin air after the fight? Also, it made no sense that Sven and his boss didn't simply shoot Maddie, Fynn, and Anderson. I saw no reason why they wanted to keep the three alive. And the part about the dental records? That's what Kayne absolutely had to get back? Why? Dental records are used to identify bodies when other means fail. Why would Kayne have been worried about them? Also, after Fynn and Anderson shifted, their clothes were destroyed. Nowhere does the author talk about how the men acquired clothes, so I'm picturing the two men in the hospital waiting room stark naked. The men thought Kayne had died because they'd locked him in a burning house. That doesn't make them good cops. That makes them felons!!!

The reader has no sense as to what the setting is for this book. The author mentions an unnamed town and says that Anderson's house is in front of a mountain. That could be any number of states. I really don't think the author has a sense of where this takes place.

Fynn and Anderson are concerned because their species is dying out, but they don't explain why that's happening. They say that Maddie would be the perfect mate, but the author doesn't specify what it is about her that makes her perfect, other than the fact that both men are attracted to her. The two men had earlier decided that they would share one woman, but that makes no sense if they're truly worried about their species dying out. They should each have their own mate in order to produce more offspring. But then again, these guys have done some really stupid things throughout the book, so in my opinion, it's better if they don't procreate.

Lilly Wilder has written a 5-star book. Maddie has moved out of her father Hugo's home and it will not be a good thing to do. She is unpacking and her friends Tina and Nicoletta come by. They want to celebrate her moving into her new place. They talk her into going to the Winchester club. She ends up getting kidnapped by Sven. She is bait to get her father to give him something his boss wants. Hugo gets a call from Sven and told what to do and for him not to call the police. He calls Anderson and Fynn. They meet with Hugo and come up with a plan to save Maddie. When they to where they think Maddie is being held, they only find her. Sven has left and they know that this is not the end. At first, Maddie and Fynn don't get along. She thinks he doesn't like her. Anderson and Fynn take her to a safe house but it ends up not being so safe and they are found out. Fynn takes them to another safe house that he thinks he only knows about. He ends up wrong and Anderson is taken when Maddie and Fynn go for a walk. Fynn gets a call from Sven and told where to come and when. Maddie decides to go with him but he tries to talk her out of going. Things do not go the way they want them to go. Unknown to Sven, and Fynn, Anderson has gotten free. When Fynn and Maddie get to where they are supposed to be, they are caught by Sven and tired up in chairs. Sven tells them what will happen and he tells Maddie something about her father. Fynn gets told that someone from his past who he thinks is dead is in fact still alive and he has been working with him. It is his police captain. Fynn is told that his captain is in fact, Kayne. The thing that Kayne wants from Hugo are some records that prove that he is in fact, Kayne. Kayne is after vengeance for things that happened in the past. After the fight, Anderson, Fynn, and Maddie go look for her father. He is not where they are. Fynn and Anderson think that he might be where everything went down years ago so they go there to look for Hugo. They find Hugo, but he is in bad shape and needs a hospital fast. Maddie is told that her father will need to stay in the hospital for a while but he will recover. Maddie, Anderson, and Fynn go to her dad's home and they get cleaned up and something to eat. Fynn wants to talk but Maddie tells him that it could wait until the next day.
Can Maddie agree to what Fynn and Anderson want?
Can Maddie, Anderson, and Fynn get together for good?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend this book to anyone.

Notes:
- The only way I am okay with the men having a previous love is if she betrayed them. Hearing that the mmcs reunited with their childhood sweetheart, only for Fynn to have sex with her then wake up next to her dead body is depressing. Even if it’s untrue, these situations make me feel like the men are using the fmc as their replacement because their true love died

- TW: The epilogue has a pregnancy scene

P.S. The name Sven just reminds me of the reindeer from Frozen 🤣

Questions:
- Why was Fynn and Anderson’s species dying out? If it was, why would they not each get a different mate to produce offspring faster? Why is sharing one woman the plan?
- I may have just missed this, but what was it that Kayne and Sven wanted from Maddie’s dad if it wasn’t money? Also, why did they not just kill Anderson, Maddie and Fynn on the spot?
- If Fynn has such a good sense of smell there’s no way he could have been so blissed out from mindblowing sex that he couldn’t sense someone come and MURDER the body beside him?

Summary:
Maddie is at the bar with her friends when a man (Sven) who initially appears friendly decides to kidnap her and threaten her friends. Maddie is rescued by two police wolf shifters (Fynn and Anderson) sent by her father. They explain that Sven wants something from him. While the father goes away on a business trip, Fynn and Anderson take Maddie to a safehouse and guard her there. A phone call later shows that Sven has taken Maddie’s father.

Against his better judgement, Maddie convinces Fynn to go on a quick walk with her but Anderson is gone when they return. A note is left for them from Sven asking for a meet up.

Having nowhere safe to leave her, Fynn takes Maddie and it is revealed that their Chief police officer is actually a guy they thought they had left to die in a burning house 15 years ago. He escaped and had facial reconstruction due to burns to his skin. Anderson arrives just in time to help Fynn take them down.

The men realize that Maddie’s father is likely in the underground tunnels below the building they burnt. They find him in a hole and bring him to the hospital in time to save his life. Maddie accepts Fynn and Anderson as her mates, her dad wakes up in the hospital and they all get their hea.

Maddie is kidnapped and is saved by Flynn and Anderson then goes into hiding with them.
Maddie was moving from her father's mansion to her own apartment and the day she moves in her two friend suggests going out to a club. she is reluctant but gets talked into going. Once in the club the others soon finds a man and leave her alone at the bar where she is soon approached by Sven. As they talk she starts to feel strange and when he moves away she decides to go home but when she gets outside she finds her phone is missing. Sven appears lends her his phone but soon she is feeling strange again and finds she has no control over her body but does as Sven tells her. Gets her in a car drives off then at the place they stop he contacts her father using her phone when finish he smashes it. He takes her to another building further away and leaves her. later two cops Flynn and Anderson track her down and rescue her but when they talk to her father it is decided that the two will take he to a safe house and protect her.

Maddie is finally moving out on her own. The first night after she unpacked she was going to invite her Dad out but some friends came over to take her out to celebrate. While out she meets Sven but isn't interested in him and tells her friends she's leaving. Its not until she's outside the bar that she realizes she doesn't have her phone. Sven come up and forces her to go with him or he'd have his friends hurt her friends. Her father contacts Anderson and Flynn to rescue his daughter. When they do save her they warn her father that its not over but he won't step back from his business. Maddie ends up leaving with them so that they can protect her. Nothing goes according to plan and they end up is a messy situation. Will they end up together after everything is settled? Can they be together with how everything has been?

This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I love reading books by Lilly Wilder. She always manages to pull me into her stories. This is the story of Maddie, Fynn and Andersen. Maddie is the daughter of a rich man who was kidnapped by Sven from a club. Fynn and Andersen are cops who also happen to be wolf shifters who are also looking for a mate. Fynn is a quiet and brutally honest man. He has lost the love of his life and doesn’t want to lose anyone else on his watch, so he distances himself. Andersen is the complete opposite of Fynn – he is Mr. Positivity and always looks for the bright things to every situation.

This story is packed with adventure, drama, a few twists and romance. You start to understand Fynn and where he is coming from and you actually root for Maddie to break through his shell. You learn from the story that you do what you have to do to protect the ones you love and care for and find out you are stronger than you think you are.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is another good shifter menage book from Lilly. The story is about Maddie, Fynn and Andersen. She is kidnapped because of her father on the first night she is moved out. Her father calls Andersen and Fynn to try to locate where she has been taken. They save her, but it is far from over. The three of them are thrown together and it is not all happy. Fynn and Maddie rub each other the wrong way, but the attraction is there. Once all the danger and drama are over they have to decide if she will be their mate. I thought the characters were perfect for each other. The story was well written with a few twists and turns along the way.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, ups, downs, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you turn the page until there are no more to turn. Maddie running okay moving out of her father’s home when her friends invite her out to celebrate her getting her own place and being out on her own. But, she is kidnapped someone demanding money from her father he then hires Anderson and Fynn to help him get her back of course they get her back but not before going a few adventures with the kidnapper so do they save her and do they reach her father in time to save him and are they able to find happiness among the three of them.

Maddie is kidnapped, because her father owes something to someone. Fynn and Anderson are tasked to protect her.

The story is simple and predictable, the logic is flawed, but it's still quite entertaining as long as you just don't think too much. There are some silly, cheesy phrases that are quite annoying, like "trespassers aren't allowed", spoiler tag here because it may be offensive to some "velvet underground", "join in the fun", "fully partake in this moment", and "full satisfaction guaranteed". Some characters being shiftshifters really do not add to the story at all. They can be regular humans, and it won't change anything.

I read the first parts of this book a while back and didn't want to read them again, and I ended up not knowing what Fynn's and Anderson's full names are. Are Fynn and Anderson first names or last names? Oh well....

Lilly just wants to escape the influence of her father and his money so she decides to move out on her own This leads to her been kidnapped when he father relieves the ransom not he sends Flynn and Alexander to save her. They do but there are plenty of disasters along the way and her and Flynn definitely don't hit it off. But these wolf shifters have more on their mind than just keeping Lilly safe they believe she is their mate and the future of their clan but can they convince her of that. You will have to read to see

On her first night alone, she gets kidnapped by Sven and he tries to blackmail Hugo to get her back. Hugo hires Flynn and Anderson to find her and protect her and they do.
Hugo is then captured by Sven, who works for a higher up thug, to get something from Hugo. Eventually Maddie, Flynn and Anderson fall in love and save Hugo.
This story is full of intrigue, wondering what is being sought, why and by whom. This is also a wonderful love story that once you start to read you can't stop. Maddie, Flynn and Anderson are made for each other. I received this book for free for a honest review.

The characters were well developed and the storyline was intriguing and suspenseful. There was non-stop action with so many twists and turns. Maddie strikes out on her own moving into an apartment away from her rich father and it all goes downhill from there. She gets kidnapped and help for ransom to get something out of her father. Her father then calls Anderson and Flynn , two detectives that happen to be wolf shifters also. Flynn and Anderson have been looking for their mate and Maddie is just dropped right into their laps. Will she listen to her two protectors?

A very riveting book as there is just so much action going on! You just can't help feeling bad for Maddie as her world implodes. However, she meets Flynn and Anderson, and eventually their attraction overcomes everything and their chemistry is steamy hot. This book was very entertaining as it goes back and forth and you wonder what happened, who betrayed them and how it all ends. It certainly kept me reading from start to finish!

This has a great story line and easy to read. You have Maddie who works hard for her accomplishments. She comes from a wealthy family but chooses to work hard for everything that she wants. Then one day with a night out with her friends everything just goes haywire. So her father gets two men to help find her. These men are none other than Fynn and Andersen. Fynn is broody and very direct. Andersen is carefree and sweet. These two will find her and keep her safe. However, Maddie finds out that they are shifters and that her dad is somehow involved. Secrets are no longer secrets and truths come to light. Will there be a happily ever after? You need to read to find out.

This book pulls at your heartstrings. Though you're not really sure what's gonna happen to all of them at the beginning. She's being targeted by a psycho and they're hired cops to protect her. Though they're more than just cops. They're a pack looking for a mate who'll accept the both of them. The action in this book is amazing! Lilly writes amazing romances!

I really liked this story although it seemed to take a while for it to get to main part of the story. The discovery by Fynn & Anderson as to the person behind all the danger that surround Maddie came to ahead & Maddie finding out how her family were involved. There was always the sexual chemistry between Maddie & Anderson but then Fynn admitted that he felt the same. I was do glad I stuck reading this as it was worth it.

Paranormal Romantic Suspense!

This book is more Suspense than Romance. And of course with a Lilly Wilder book you get shifters. In this case Wolf shifters. The shifters are integrated with society. Plus you get a naive young woman who gets kidnapped. Then rescued and put into hiding. Where she learns some hard truths about herself. I could hardly put this book down.

Maddie comes from money. When she decides to move out of her father's house and go out with friends she is kidnapped. Once rescued, her life and what she thought she knew starts to unravel. Secrets are revealed and danger is around every corner, but her two saviors are there to protect her and help her deal with it all. An action-packed mystery that is well developed with characters you will enjoy getting to know. I received this as an ARC and give my honest review.

DNF. I didn’t make it very far. The writing was a bit clunky to start, and then I came upon this lovely passage:

Tina chuckles on the sofa and from this angle, I see the skin on her chin thickening. In about 10, 20 years, she’ll be overweight like her mother, if she’s not careful.



It’s 2021 folks. Women talking about other women’s bodies in this way is just gross. Between that and the writing I just lost all interest, and promptly returned it.

This is the story of Maddie, Anderson, and Fynn. I follows how they meet when Maddie is kidnapped and easily found by Anderson and Fynn. Thus starts a story full of danger, secrets and and pasts that do not stay in the past. It was fun and mysterious and kept me reading to the end to see how it would end. It was interesting watching Maddie, Anderson, and Fynn get to know each other.
