When my favorite aunt tells me her best friend, Max, is staying in my spare bedroom, I don’t think much about it.
Besides, I’m single and have zero responsibilities. A roommate is nothing. At least we can split the rent and other bills.
But when Max knocks on my front door, naked hunger flares in me, my heart kicking hard enough to hurt at the sight. Because there’s one thing dear aunt forgot to mention … Max is a girl.
No, scratch that.
She’s a woman. A gorgeous, green-eyed goddess.
Wicked desire buzzes beneath my skin, and the blood boils through my veins like acid, the maddening need to have her jolting through me.
Unfortunately, she’s a tough nut to crack, and it takes a lot to convince her she should go out with someone eight years younger than her and her best friend’s nephew to boot.
I am nothing if not persistent, so I do whatever I can to make her mine. I will stop if she tells me to. Until then, she will belong to me—heart, body, and soul.
After all, I’m never one to do anything by half measure.
This one was definitely different than the others. The uncertainty Max had and how she was so overwhelmed she ended up doing something she regretted later. Eventually she realized she was wrong. I loved how they fell back into what they had previously pretty easily. Super cute short book!
This hardly qualifies as a story. It's a few sentences pushed together. That said, I hope the author gets married and hyphenates her name "Lena Little-Moore" or "Lena Little-Lephte"😂 Should I give her an extra star for the humor her name gave me? Nah.....
All of my other reviews for the other books in this series are basically me saying they’re all the same, however had this book been like another 100 pages I’d say it would be a compelling read. I get the purpose of these books is they’re all smut little to no plot, but I kind of liked the whole “we can’t be together bc I’m older and your aunt is my best friend who I don’t want to upset” a pretty fun trope and again of this were longer the relationships and dynamics could be more fleshed out. Overall this was fine and if you’ve read the other books then you already know what to expect.
This young man knew from the first moment that he opened the door and fell naked beneath her that he was going to have her. If only in his dreams, she was going to be his. But the sexual tension was more than either of them could stand. I can't figure out why older women find it hard to love or be accepted because they date or have a sexual relationship with a younger man, men do it all the time. It's ok to get your groove back and fall in love at the same time. Keep them coming.
Mika has a free bedroom at his apartment and his aunt asks him if he would help out her friend Max. He agrees and when Max arrives his whole life changes. Max isn't a he but a beautiful woman a bit older than he (8 years). These two fell hard and fast for each other and after a bit of back and forth they finally got their HEA 😍😍 Instalove, reverse age gap, sweet, fun to read, steamy, romantic and safe with a sweet HEA 😍😍
I wanna start with I love Lena Littles book with all my heart! -minus a few crazy out of pocket ones 👀
Though I haven’t been feeling the short story series. L.L bread and butter is typically obsessed Hero with an innocent/ v-card heroine and the short stories (like this one) haven’t consisted of what she typically writes.
If you are looking for an instalove that's a little more on the believable side of reality, this book is for you :)
Layered characters, no ow/om drama, and a wonderful conclusion to this short and spicy read. I couldn't help but grin like a fool with those last two chapters.
Ok so similar effects as the previous ones ie fast and easy reads. I did like the reverse age gap. Liked that they both had a sense of maturity and were able to identify and acknowledge their behaviour and emotions. Yet there was something that felt different with this book compared to the others. I just can’t quite put my finger on it 🤔
This shot instalove story has all the feels. Mika and Max are an unlit pair that just make sense! This is an easy , hot read with lovable characters. The age gap element was a bonus especially since the younger character is more mature!! Do yourself a favor and read this book. Enjoy!!!
Wow this is I believe the first OWYM I have read from this author and I’m pretty sure I’ve read them all. This book is a completely fresh take on LL’s formula and while I do adore her others this is absolutely fantastic! No real big drama scene (just a tiny bit) plenty of steam! No waffling emotionally, and you get your HEA too.
Good read. Max is a 35 year old artist. She decided to move to a new place and as luck would have it, her best friend offered her a room in her nephew place. That is when she meets ger new roommate, Mika, a 27 year old nurse. They are immediately attracted, and soon their relationship changes
I rate it 2.5 it was a fast fun read enjoyed it overall didn’t love everything about it especially the instalove bits in it like he proposed after knowing her for i don’t know about a month maybe a little more but barely if so which is a little crazy but the epilogues were cute wish there was a little more but since it’s so short I’m not complaining to much

Age is just a number as people like to say and Mika is a firm believer in that. Took Max a minute to realize that Mika loved her, no matter that she was older than him. No matter that she was his aunt's friend, she was it for him.
A misunderstanding causes Mika and Max to become roomates but given the instant connection between these two preheaps that mistake could be the best thing for them
Meh...didn't really feel this one - and I am tired of the man always being the subject of threats if the woman gets hurt, like the man can't equally get crushed.
