Growing up as a young child Rae Knight used to hate reading, but as she grew into her adolescent years it all chnaged. It was this love of reading, mixed with her vivid imagination, that had her begin her writing career. Now a days, you can find her trying hard to write these bios in third person, which she doesn't even do in her books. When she's not teaching, she's mothering three small children. Her writing is mainly done once her littles have fallen asleep for the night.

“You're my everything, my moon, my soul, my stars."

When Raya, a human graphic designer, gets invited to a party With her friend, Amaya, she expects the crowd to be a little different than your typucal party goers. But she never expected to be attacked by vampires and to be thrust into a world where Amaya is the resident witch for the Lunaris warewolf pack who’s unique ability is that they can harness the powers of the moon.

The Alpha, Cruz, is very skeptical of Raya. The Beta, Dane, has the strangest pull to Raya that neither he nor his wolf can decipher. And the Gamma, Garrett knows he needs to protect her with every fiber of his being.

Through many twists and turns, Raya, Amaya, Dane, Garrett and the many other characters they meet along the way set forth on an epic journey to uncover the truths of the pasts of both Raya and Dane.

I had the amazing opportunity to get my little book loving hands on an ARC of Moonlit Rivalry Raya’s Heart and it was certainly an enjoyable read! I was well entertained throughout the entirety of the book. I absolutely fell in love with the main characters and the side characters. The world was well built and packs and magic were well explained.

The book is a deliciously spicy paranormal shifter-type romance with magic and hilarious banter. Raya is a total badass in her own right. I absolutely recommend reading!

"Kindness isn't a weakness. In fact, it's a strength. If being kind scares you, then you're already showing weakness. I think it's cowardice."

This was my first time diving into a wolf shifter romance and I really enjoyed it!

This one had tons of spice and also such a good plot with battles, adventure, prophecy, and lots of magic.

I was hooked from the start until the end and it had tons of twists and turns.

It also had so many good characters and the author is amazing at redeeming them too.

You get:
• Shifter
• Paranormal
• Fantasy
• Multiple POV
• Fated Mates
• Magic
• Gods/Goddesses

I highly suggest you give this one a try! Pick it up off Amazon!

This is the first book of Rae Knight’s that I have read, but I can promise you this; it will not be my last. Where has she been hiding and how have I not heard of her until this ARC opportunity came across my desk?
The word building, character development, and plot climb of this book is beautiful. The relationship between Raya and Dane is a fun one to watch grow. Seeing Raya come out of her shell and become this self confident woman, while Dane learns to lead, while allowing people around him to strengthen his leadership; creates the perfect dynamic for this book couple. This book is fated mates, but how many times Raya has to fight to be with her mate is amazing. Rae’s dedication of this book stands true with how many people and circumstances she had to overcome to be with Dane. She is wanted by many alphas due to the specialness within her.
And beyond Raya and Dane, there are so many other characters that you will come to like, love, and hate. Rae writes each of them with the same passion of Raya and Dane, despite them being side characters and their storyline’s are important to the main storyline within this book. Each character plays a significant role in Raya’s journey as she discovers who she truly is and where she truly came from.
I cannot wait for book two to come out and return to this world of gods, demigods, wolf shifters, vampires, hybrids, oracles, and witches.

I very much enjoyed this read! The world building was fabulous and the personalities of not only the main characters but also the side characters were so intricate. I especially loved Garretts character, he has the best playful side 🥰 and everyone needs a friend like Amanda!
The relationship between Raya and Dane was brilliant and I enjoyed the way it changed and adapted throughout the story.
Some twists I had figured out but there was definitely some I didn’t see coming and that kept me hooked! The character arcs throughout this book was incredibly satisfying to read and I liked the dual POVs that gives you insight into the decision the characters make. There is also a massive variety of magic which made the world and character building even more interesting.

If you’re into magical realms and the supernatural then I recommend this.

First I want to say thank you to author Rae Knight for allowing me to ARC read for her!

So this was my first Rae Knight book and I loved it! She did a great job with creating the characters and showing their character development throughout the story, and I like how when she did her world building it was balanced and spread throughout the book. I loved the story line of this book and all of the twists, and especially reading Raya's internal and external thoughts. I liked how all of the characters all had their own quirks and whatnot and I really enjoyed getting to learn and know them, Garrett was also awesome and had quickly became one of my favorites from the book! I very much enjoyed reading this story and hope to see Raya and Dane's story continued ☺️

Definitely recommend reading!

A fast-paced novel that drew me in from the first to the last page.

I enjoyed that we are drawn into the supernatural world from the beginning and introduced to the many different characters early on.

The dual POV during the first half of the story helped you to get a better understanding of the main characters & how their stories are destined to intertwine. I found the last half of the novel to be a bit messy as there were additional POV's present, which changed the natural flow of storytelling.

Rae does a great job of building the setting and characters, allowing you to visualize this vast world she has created.
Many chapters ended on a cliffhanger that kept you coming back for more.
I particularly enjoyed how each supernatural being was unique, which created variety among the characters.
I believe that (later) parts of the novel could have been omitted, as they added unnecessary levels to an already action-packed story.

Overall, an enjoyable novel that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the supernatural world.

Congratulations again Rae for this wonderful book!
I have read and purchased your Saved series as well as the Dare book 1, like those books I am feeling very happy after reading this one, for me it is an HEA ending in all sorts.

Raya the female lead is a human, who in the beginning learned other forms of beings other than human. She is my favorite character in the story. The next one will be Garett, Amaya and Dane. The twist surprise me as I was not expecting those to happen. I am looking forward to a next book, what’s next to happen to Raya and the rest of other characters.

At first for me the pacing was a little slow, but then I think after Chapter 5, that will keep you hooked. It’s just like the Ads (Pringles) once you pop you cannot stop…Oh well, this one once you start you cannot stop reading lol.

Again, thank you Rae for being one of the ARC readers, sorry to post my review a bit delayed, went through a minor surgery, but then your book helps me keep my pain away😊(I am trying to finish reading this while in between I am also reading Olive and Lucas ❤️)

I absolutely loved this story. It had all the cozy, magical vibes. This was well-written with good character development, pacing, and world building. The storyline was interesting and I loved that each wolf pack had different abilities.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Raya (FMC) and Dane (MMC). Their romance was sweet and spicy. Dane was a total goner for Raya and I loved they were fated mates. The side characters were all interesting and added to the overall arc of the story.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I would definitely recommend it to any paranormal/fantasy romance reader. ❤️

At first I was confused and didn’t want to continue, but then I was hooked. I read on my breaks from work, while on hold at work and then when I was off. I was sucked in to this world with shifters and mates and goddesses of the moon and hidden kingdoms. When I thought I knew what was going to happen another twist came and said no you don’t.

Just read it. It’s good.

My Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5/5 stars

I absolutely adored this novel! The storyline was strong and had me at the edge of my seat the entire time! Dane is my new favourite male lead, from his broody and thoughtful human form to his adorable and sweet wolf. Raya is one of the strongest females leads I have ever personally read. She handled this life altering revelation with grace, and that is extremely admirable. And we get to Garett. I must say, I am not at all a fan of him. I know this is a live trial, so I have refrained my judgements, but even though he sacrificed so much for Raya, I never could strike up any sort of connection to his character, and I quite frankly hated when raya showed any affection to him. I guess because I’m a Dane girly. I loved how this book struck so much emotion from me. Each page I resonated with a lot, I was either laughing, crying or throwing my book across the room in anger. I believe that if you love romance, or fantasy, this is a must read. I am so incredibly honored to be a part of the street team for this series and can’t wait to see the rest of this story!

*I was an ARC reader for this book*

⭐️⭐️/5
🌶️🌶️/5

I struggled with this book. There were numerous spelling and grammatical errors that I hope got corrected before the final release. Everything happens so quickly, and it was hard to get into, and I had to go back and reread paragraphs multiple times. This book could have easily been shortened by 100 pages, and you wouldn’t have missed anything that was important to the plot. This novel had the start of some good world building, but it was never really fleshed out completely. There are also NO trigger warnings in this book, and there should be, as there is sexual assault, kidnapping, abuse, attempted rape, and violence.

In the very first chapter, Raya goes to a party with her bestie Amaya and immediately things are weird. People in the crowd are smelling her, and she doesn’t seem to think it’s abnormal. By the second chapter, there is a whole secret world of wolves and witches revealed to her, and she just takes it in stride. Raya has multiple chances at being a strong FMC, but falls flat a majority of the time. She almost gets raped, but simultaneously has strong sexual feelings towards the man that sexually assaulted her.

Every incident in the plot was resolved almost too conveniently. For instance, Cruz has been searching for a mate for years, and was going to claim Raya as his own, despite MMC Dane and Raya’s very quick feelings towards each other, but suddenly at the Moon Fest, Cruz’s mate shows up and off they go. It’s also very weird that the wolves just yell out “MATE,” when they find each other and then essentially just go off to have sex and that’s pretty much it.

Another confusing aspect was that the characters in this book also had different names for their wolves. It took me until 5 or 6 chapters in to figure this out, as there was no explanation on why this was.

The last 10-15 chapters were…”meh” for me. I skimmed through them quickly and was happy to be done with this read.

The smut wasn’t horrible, but could’ve been more descriptive and thought out.

Again, the world building started off fairly well, and I liked the different special abilities that the wolves had, depending on what pack they belonged to. It falls apart quickly and it was a chore to get through the rest of the novel. However, I would give the author another chance because this was the first book that I have read of hers.

ARC Review: Moonlit Rivalry: Raya’s Heart
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Sparkling with supernatural intrigue and sizzling with forbidden romance, Moonlit Rivalry by Rae Knight is a captivating read that will leave you wanting more.

✨Compelling Characters: Raya's journey of self-discovery and navigating the complexities of the supernatural world is both relatable and enthralling. Dane, the brooding beta with a mysterious past, perfectly complements her fiery spirit. The supporting characters, from the loyal best friend to the enigmatic alpha, add depth and intrigue to the story.

✨Sizzling Chemistry: The connection between Raya and Dane is undeniable, crackling with tension and building to steamy encounters. Their forbidden romance adds a layer of excitement to the narrative.

✨Fast-Paced Plot: The story hooks you from the first few chapters and keeps you guessing with unexpected twists and turns. The blend of action, suspense, and romance makes it a thrilling page-turner. While the first half of the book excels in its surprises, the latter half falls into some predictable plot progression. However, the author skillfully throws in plot twists to keep the reader engaged.

✨Unique World-Building: Knight creates a captivating world where werewolves possess the power of moonlight, adding a fresh spin on the classic shifter trope. The inclusion of magic and other supernatural elements further enriches the story.

Overall, this is a thoroughly enjoyable read for fans of paranormal romance and fantasy. With well-developed characters, a captivating plot, and a touch of steam, this book is sure to leave you reeling! The story provides a satisfying conclusion, tying up loose ends while leaving room for potential future adventures.

Moonlit Rivalry: Raya’s Heart is a werewolf romance book full of secrets and surprises.

The FMC Raya has lived her life in the human world unaware of any supernatural creatures until her friend Amaya takes her to a party full of supernatural beings and her life turns upside down.

I liked both the FMC & MMC and their dynamic. The main characters were well introduced and developed. There was a lot of supporting characters and most of them were also well introduced. The character interactions were well written and realistic. Overall the characters were lovable and well written.

The world building was good, though I would have loved to learn more about the world, packs etc.

The pacing was quite fast, especially at the beginning. The pacing wasn’t an issue for me, but at times I would have preferred it to be a bit slower so there would have been time to explore things and feelings more.

The storyline itself was interesting and kept me hooked from beginning to end. There weren’t any dull moments and I loved learning more about the main characters and their pasts.

Overall I really enjoyed reading the book.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.

✨Moonlit Rivalry Raya’s Heart✨

Well! I can say truly that this was a page turner! I haven’t read much for shifter romances in a long while and at first was concerned it would be very similar to Twilight, but it was wonderfully unique and intricate! It’s set in the modern world with monsters lurking unless you’ve been extended an invitation to their presence.

Raya, an innocent, kind, and compassionate twenty year old, is quickly thrust into a world of werewolves, witches, goddesses, and vampires after going to her friend’s party. From here, chaos ensues!

There are so many secrets and plot twists and fated mates 😍 mysteries and powerful beings. Moonlit Rivalvry is packed with action and spice and an epic ending worth grinning over.

Rae works miracles with a large cast of characters, each who are all incredibly diverse, witty, strong, loyal, and brave. Garrett is 100% my favorite, but I truly find joy in them all.

Moonlit Rivalry is full of magic, forced proximity, lots of spice, fast and adorable friendships, and swoony romance. My utmost favorite thing, though, was that Raya was not always physically strong, but emotionally she was always compassionate, kind, tender, loving, and brave. In a book world full of darkness, she never let that harden her and I loved that Rae did that. Raya didn’t have to be the sassy, stabby FMC we often see to be an incredibly courageous character. She did so by being a light of love.

Favorite line: calling a vampire a “snobby mosquito”.

Thank you for this gifted ARC, @rae.knight.author. It was truly a fun ride.

Wow. Just. Wow! This book is intoxicating and addictive! Even in the “filler” moments I was drawn in unable to put my kindle down. Raya and Dane are a perfect match and seriously any other book boyfriend better be as loving and caring and passionate as Dane! But back to the plot…you’ve got werewolves, vampires (NOT twilight sparkle but real) and you have magic…you have a hidden past and fated lives. It’s a fantasy without getting too overwhelmed with the “fantasy world.” I loved that, it was easy to read even though the author brought in magic and such, she wrote it very well!! The battle was *head explosion*!!! Such a good and vivid battle!!! I could visualize it all! Speaking of visuals, the s3x was FIRE!!!!!!! There was hot and passionate s3x and then there was the romantic and just heart melting passion. It wasn’t over the top but also not lacking/leaving you wanting more.
Garrett and Amaya are best friends we all want! One to be there with girl advice and to tell you to shut up if need be and then the guy who is a teddy bear that will kill for you…or catch your baby like a ball *IYKYK* All the characters’ stories were well thought out and introduced in perfect order as well as didn’t drag on making the reader want to skip over. There’s definite revelations and an ending that leaves you wanting more to the story (in a good way). I can’t wait to read more from this author and can’t wait to see if we get more of Raya’s life.

Okay, so this isn't my first book by Rae Knight, but it's a different genre than the last one I read by her and a little darker. So, I would say to check your trigger warnings before you go lighthearted into it. There are some things in the book that bothered me, like I wanted Raya stand her ground more when it came to her thoughts and feelings. I felt like they were brushed aside a little too quickly, and then she got over it faster than whiplash. Other than that, this was a great book, just like Rae Knight's others that I have read.

Aside from that, Raya is a young girl that is plunged head first into a world she didn't imagine existed. after finding herself surrounded by supernatural people, she is taken because she was exposed to their secret. Through it, some things happen,, but she can't resist the pull that she was with the Beta, Dane. The attraction is mutual between them, and the chemistry is even better.

✨shifter romance
✨forced proximity
✨touch her and die
✨fantasy spice
✨magic
✨relatively slow burn

Raya is a seemingly normal human girl who just happens to find herself associated with an entire magical world. She discovers that her best friend has been leading a double life, but with them being each other’s only constants, they stick together through it all.
Vampires, werewolves, witches, Oh my! Raya navigates being forced to stay within the Lunaris pack boundaries, where she learns a lot about the past of her friends, as well as herself.
With secrets, forced bonds, an enigmatic draw to the beta, and mystery to boot, this shifter romance will take you through a wild fantastical ride.

Having read several fantasy romance novels, I think that the plot has enough substance to continue as a series. Definitely has your typical damsel in distress protagonist, multiple scenarios that present resolution for the main characters in the story that allow a well thought out storyline, however, there certain instances in the novel that I felt could’ve used more elaboration leading to and carrying through certain ideas. Raya and Dane’s characters go from seemingly normal/average characters to overpowered in a span of a chapter. One minute they figure out their heritage and then it’s like, “BOOOOOM! You’re actually someone very important so here’s your manifested powers.” Other than that little tidbit, I thoroughly enjoyed the mate matching, the incorporation of human/wolves dialogue, Raya and Garrett’s bond, and the tale of Selene and Orion.
This story has action, romance, heartbreak, humor, and every fantasy element that keeps you hooked. Definitely an entertaining read!

This book got right into the plot and I loved it! I felt like there was a cliffhanger at the end of each chapter which really made you not want to stop reading. The characters were great, I especially loved Garrett's playfulness! I really enjoyed how the world building did not take up a huge amount of the book but rather was given to us here and there throughout the book. The spice level was more of a new adult feel. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy and wolf shifters! Thanks for the ARC!

Rea Knight did an amazing job, the story draws you in from the very beginning and keeps you sucked in until the very end.

It has some multiple povs. I was surprised when I saw more were added towards the end though it really put a wider view of information on what was going on and it was an interesting take.

Loved the characters not only the main characters but a lot of the side characters, watching them all have some great character growth throw out the book.

As well as the world that she built was so interesting that I cant wait to see what she comes up with next.

Raya is suddenly thrown into a world she thought only existed in movies and books when her friend Amaya takes her to what seems like a regular party until it's not. There's werewolves, witches, and vampires galore. What is it about Raya that draws in everyone magical, like she's calling to out them. Dane in particular, the Beta for his pack, has never felt so drawn to another person like he is to Raya but his wolf can't confirm whether she's truly his mate or not. There's hidden pasts, secrets, steam 🔥, possessiveness, magic, and coming to terms with one's self all in this story. A must read!

The story is written so well I felt I was there. I had such a book blues when I finished, it was a good 2 days before I could read anything else.

Do read the trigger warnings. It is a dark romance so expect some dark themes.

Rae never fails. This book was great. I'm like how in the world did she come up with this great plot, deep characters, and include everything I love about magic. You are an awesome writer. Whay else can I say. Raya's journey was amazing. I can't wait to see what the other books will entail.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story has a good and flowing flow. The different characters in the story are unique and well developed. I especially liked Garret, his character brought a big smile to my face. I hope for a sequel
