Ugh. I'm glad the series as a whole was a quick read because this was so disappointing. Sevyn is supposed to be this badass female assassin and she is the epitome of TSTL FMC. She's 28(??) and acts like an impulsive 16-year-old in this book. Like, how did she go from this potentially amazing, strong FMC in book 1 to the impulsive, constantly getting tricked and captured liability FMC in book 3?! The only thing I liked is that Nadia was a true friend and Sevyn and Christian have their HEA. 😒

This is an entertaining shifter romance book that holds your attention from beginning to end. The storyline is intriguing as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy chemistry together. I enjoyed this book.

Even without our mating bond, Christian believed there was still a connection that continued to draw us back to each other time after time. All he wanted was a chance to explore what we felt for each other. He had come to me. In spite of everything I had been, my differences with the pack’s rules, including his father’s disapproval of us, he still wanted me. I’d run for so long perhaps it was time to face what I felt for him. Maybe now was our time and together we could find answers.
It wasn’t to be…
Cassiel had come to warn me that Gerald was meeting with the Faction Council, and he wasn’t alone. The witch, Claudia, was with him, together they intended to perform a locator spell to find Imogen, Sevyn’s Mother. Gerald had betrayed them. He had joined the coven leader. Christian couldn’t believe his father would do this. However, Sevyn had to find out for herself. She set out with Cassiel leaving Christian behind.
The beginning of the end…
The meeting place, a warehouse, was empty. Suddenly Cassiel shouted for Sevyn to run. Just as the doors opened werewolves and witches poured in. It was definitely time to run. She escaped, but just.
Nadia caught up with Sevyn on the street a short distance away and took her to a safe place. Now it was even more important to locate her mother before Gerald did. After talking with Nadia, she was certain Christian had no part in Gerald’s plans, whatever they were. The main lead they had was Orpheus, since he’d been the one that had given Sevyn a staged photo of her mother, he had to know where she was. While Nadia searched for Orpheus, Sevyn had to do something or go stir-crazy. Sneaking into her loft to retrieve her mother’s journals was a dangerous stunt. However, they needed them for any information they might provide. The police and a member of the pack were watching her loft as she snuck past them, through the back way, only to run into Christian. Together they grabbed the journals and barley escaped when the pack member caught them.
Back at Nadia’s safe house Cassiel joined them searching in the journals for information. The news of Adrian Pierce’s death was another puzzle in the mix. Was there any truth to the talk of a cure? The belief in a cure that could strip supernatural’s of their powers, turning them into humans. Gerald wanted to eliminate the vampires and Claudia wanted to rid the witches of mages. And both were convinced that Imogen had the cure and Sevyn was the key to getting her to turn it over to them.
The third book in the Sevyn Rose trilogy is a chase for answers, what is the “cure” and why are Gerald and Claudia so desperate to find it? Who is Cassiel and how is he connected to Imogen? There is death on the run. Adrian Pierce was dead, how? Vampires weren’t exactly easy to kill. What of the romance between Christian and Sevyn? The series may have begun with Sevyn’s connection to the Mafia as a hired assassin, her rocky relationship with Christian, the mate she left behind when her mother vanished but the chase has certainly heated up, with few allies and short on time can they stop the genocide meant to change the hands of power?
Sevyn’s life was so full of knots it had me aching to see if I could untangle them, to learn more about this young woman. A dealer of death, a werewolf, the daughter of a woman hiding secrets that had brought death to the pack even before Sevyn was born. And her romance with Christian, the much sought after young detective. With the mating bond broken, would Willa get what she wanted, a match with Christian?
I enjoyed this puzzle of a tale. However, I would have liked to have learned more about Samuel, Sevyn’s father. What were the secret activities that Imogen had been conducting that had pulled her away from her daughter for the last eight years. I missed the strong background story and interaction that would have warmed up the romance between Sevyn and Christian, which came off as a bit lukewarm.
In spite of the questions I was left with in the end, I got caught up in the characters, their secrets, their lives and how it all finally played out. If you enjoy urban fantasy with shifters and a slow burn clean romance, Karina Espinosa’s writing and storytelling makes this one to check out.

Savage Wolf, the thrilling third installment of Karina Espinosa’s Sevyn Rose series, is everything fans could hope for in a gripping supernatural adventure. This book takes readers on a whirlwind of tense alliances, dangerous secrets, and emotional turmoil as Sevyn confronts her deepest fears and hardest choices yet.
Sevyn’s journey has always been one of growth, but in Savage Wolf, we see her truly come into her own. Tired of watching her mother Imogen take all the risks, Sevyn steps up, not only to protect her family but also to secure the future of the supernatural community. With an unexpected alliance with the angel Cassiel and the support of Christian and Nadia—who claim loyalty but still leave Sevyn wary—there’s a palpable sense of tension. Espinosa writes Sevyn’s struggles and decisions with raw authenticity, making her a character who is easy to root for yet feels deeply relatable in her moments of self-doubt.
What makes Savage Wolf so compelling is how Espinosa masterfully weaves themes of trust, betrayal, and sacrifice. Sevyn’s disillusionment with Gerard and the shocking revelation of what the cure really means elevate the stakes in a way that keeps readers breathlessly turning pages. The moral dilemmas Sevyn faces are powerful; she must weigh her personal safety against her mother’s and make hard choices for the greater good. Espinosa doesn’t hold back in depicting these complex emotions, making Sevyn’s journey a truly heart-wrenching one.
For fans of supernatural action, intense drama, and emotional depth, Savage Wolf delivers a perfectly satisfying conclusion to Sevyn’s story. Karina Espinosa has crafted an unforgettable journey of love, loyalty, and survival that resonates far beyond the last page. This book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys complex characters, high-stakes battles, and the ultimate fight for freedom.

I could not wait to get my hands on the final book in this series, especially after that cliffhanger ending in the previous book. I have to say that this book left me a bit disappointed after reading and enjoying the previous books in this series. The pace of the story in this book was slower, and Sevyn, Cassiel, Nadia, and Christian spent the majority of the book running around trying to figure out if Sevyn's mother Imogen left any clues of where the cure would be. There's a little twist when it comes to the cure that's explained near the end of the story along with Imogen's plan once she puts where into action., but I expected more from this final book. There was little to no chemistry between Sevyn and Christian and all the anticipation between the two of them in the previous books fell flat in this one. It basically dropped dead. I thought it would have developed into something stronger even after they broke their bond and decided to get back together. Something just didn't feel right between them in this book. The chemistry was gone. Honestly, if I knew this final book would have disappointed me like this, I would have skipped this series. I will say that based on this book alone it's not a series that I can say left me feeling happy enough to be recommending to friends.

Savage Wolf was a good conclusion to the Sevyn Rose trilogy, but it was not as action-packed as the first two. The middle of the book dragged along with excessive descriptions of how they were strategizing without actually explaining what they were planning. It seemed like filler fluff to pad the book length before the final showdown.
I really loved Sevyn and Christian finally overcoming their resentment of the fated mate bond and moving forward in their relationship. It is a very sweet romance and I enjoyed seeing it develop and move towards their HEA.
The characters in the series are excellently drawn and believable, and each added depth and complexity to the world building. The finale was an action packed slugfest and wrapped up all the questions and plot intrigues nicely. It was bittersweet and really tugged my heartstrings.
I definitely recommend this book series to paranormal romance fans. It is sweet and clean while being action packed and full of suspense.

Our heroine is tired of just reacting and knows it is time to act, but the choices she faces are not easy. With none of them looking particularly promising, is one better than the others?
This is book three of the series. It does okay as a standalone but it will be a much more enjoyable experience if read in order.
This is an urban fantasy story with werewolves and vampires at the center of the story. The story is well written and easy to read. The setting is very intriguing with lots of details that I really want to explore in more depth. The characters are well done with solid personalities. I particularly liked our heroine who is a non-nonsense type of gal. The plot included plenty of action and intrigue to keep things moving at a good pace. Overall, this has been a great series and I look forward to more from our author.
Highly recommended.

Savage Wolf is a masterpiece of a wolf shifter romance book which I believed to be quite suspenseful and most certainly a page-turner of a paranormal romance book. Savage Wolf is the third installment of the Sevyn Rose series which I thoroughly enjoyed reading to the point where I absolutely did NOT want to set this amazing wolf shifter romance book down. Author Karina Espinosa continues to create a remarkable paranormal romance. In my honest opinion Author Karina Espinosa is a sensational storyteller and a marvelous writer who puts everything into the books she writes to entertain her audience. Savage Wolf is a book which I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone who enjoys reading paranormal romance stories. I can hardly wait to see what the next book in this series will be about.

This book felt rushed and following a checklist to close off various plot pieces. The romance aspect felt forced and didn't have much depth to it, the rest of the plot was a long action sequence. The lead up to the final battle made Sevyn unlikeable - she literally ignored everything her mother had said to her in their "big secret meeting" and charged ahead without a plan into a very obvious trap. There was no lead up to suggest that Gerard had turned over a new leaf - he was literally a "bad guy" in every single scene prior to asking to meet up alone. Some of the political storyline could have made for a complex plot, but the rushed vibe of the whole book jumped forward without any character development or growth and really turned it into a supernatural nancy drew quick read.

How can the FMC be sooooo stupid? Gerard has betrayed and attacked her several times and so she strolls in to an obvious trap after one text message from him.
How can Sevyn come to the conclusion that her mother will sacrifice herself to save Sevyn, when she know NOTHING of how the angel essence works, let alone how to get rid of it?
Why is there no chemistry between Sevyn and Christian? Boring.
Also, Sevyn is probably a psychopath? Shes killing people left and right without a morse of regret.
And WHY would Cassiel reveal how to kill an angel in front of a whole pack of werewolves?
There were more things like this in the series that didn’t make sence…
SUCH a dissapointment…

It had been quite awhile since I’d been in this world, so it took a little to get caught up to where the book begins…which is very much right after the end of the second one. I’d forgotten how much I liked Sevyn and all the side characters, so it was definitely good to see them again. This book really tied up most of the loose ends that started at the beginning of the series, but there is definitely room to come back to this universe. The ending made me a little sad, but other than that, I enjoyed this series ender. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Fantastic ending to series!
Wow – I loved how the story all came together for Sevyn and Christian. Even after not having the mating bond anymore, Christian continues trying to get Sevyn to explore their feelings, but she doesn’t know what her future holds and doesn’t want to start something she cant complete. Especially since everything she finds out about herself is so crazy. This story was so amazing, and I loved all the characters and how the plot kept driving me to keep reading – even after it way past time for me to go to bed!
Fantastic series! Definitely a must read!

Sevyn knows that she is been hunted, but she isn't planning to get caught, although she would like to know where her mother is. With so many people hunting for her, who can she trust? Luckily she has Christian and Nadia who seem to be on her side. And Cassiel is offering his protection too. I enjoyed Sevyn story, the danger/suspense of her story, the spark between her and Christian, and how it all plays out.

Savage Wolf is book 3 of Sevyn Rose. Sevyn is now running as the wolves and witches are looking for her to find her mother. It is all on her to save the supernatural. The story line is well developed as it holds the interest of the reader throughout the book. The characters are developed where they are liked and understood. Look forward to reading more on Sevyn.

Sevyn is back in Savage Wolf book three of the Sevyn Rose trilogy and this book picks up where book two Captured Wolf left off. It's been over a year since I read book two so it took a bit to get back into the story and it was a good read. The drama, intrigue, and revealed secrets kept me reading. Overall, it is a good conclusion to the Sevyn Rose trilogy and I look forward to reading the next book by this author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

As the Sevyn's journey continues, the path is rocky and filled with hazards and challenges. The love of Christian is still her question. The list of those she can trust is short. Will she survive long enough to get answers to all the questions of her past she needs answered?.

This series started well but then it was like the author ran out of energy or time and the series became incredibly rushed. It was almost like a story had been mapped out, but there was no real depth to it and a lot of repetition and plot holes. Doesn't change the fact I very much enjoyed most of Karina's other books though!

So, book three in the series and it’s very, very good. This author writes some excellent stories I have to say. I was engrossed in the this one from start to finish. The ending was one which again I didn’t see coming, have to get better at that don’t I. Highly recommended.

Sevyn and her friends are back and searching for a cure along with a lot of other drama going on with everyone. Secrets revealed along with the intrigue and everything else kept things interesting. Wanted to see how it would all end. Lots of action and surprises kept me reading.

Two stars is generous. Editor needs replaced. The first chapter was not even in line with the last book. The FMC is an idiot, and dumbed down to the lowest level by book three. She constantly repeats phrases over and over, but never gets a clue. Waste of time.
