**This is a STANDALONE but also Book 3 in The Richmond Family Saga.**
Always the bridesmaid; never the bride. Denver was fed up with the trajectory of her life. This continues from Knight story and the aftermath is crazy. Denver was fckn annoying all she did was run and complain about her weight. I don’t know why Paul was even put into the book. Farrah should be dead idc I want her dead by the next book. Denver would make a great stepmom she got a good village behind her. I didn’t like the ending cause it was predictable but I can’t for the next installment. Looks like 2 people should be dead 😏☺️.
Also idk why the author says standalone when this continued from Knights story and ended on a cliffhanger. You need to read all books to know who is who and to follow the story

I am sick of cliffhanger stories
Too many K names and similar names. It was difficult to focus on which character was attached to who. The messiness was overflowing once again, and the cliffhanger ending chapped my butt.

4.5⭐️ - whew Tacarra! Even though this book was short, it was jammed packed with action! Farrah was awful but Denver let her have too much control over her and Kyandri’s relationship for my liking. But the ending—I just know Kyan and Aubree are going to take me through the wringer! Good read.

The cliffhanger!!!…My mind is BLOWN!! I knew it was sumthn going on with Aubree but I was NOT expecting that!!!
Kyandri been begging & pleading since chapter 1 but he wasn’t playing about getting his girl back! LOL! I love him & Denver!!

Omg! What a ride... the RCF series has my full attention. Each book gets more entertaining with more drama, laughter & a few tears. Glad to see Knight & Knasim both happy in their relationships & things looking up for Denver & Trig. Can't wait to see what happens next after that crazy ending with Kyan & his trifling, alcoholic wife.

I wanted to drag Farrah for the trash ssa hoe that she is. Not you showing up to my cousin proposal with your hoe ssa. If bitter and self was a person it was Farrah. Denver I understand that Kyandri should have told you more details behind his ex but the way you went off on him was a bit much. Then when you called yourself getting a lick back because you wanted to hurt him I couldn’t get jiggy with that because he never set out to intentionally hurt you yet you did. I’m glad that man loved you the way he did cause another man would have left you and kept it moving. I’m not agreeing with how he handled things but you could have handled things differently. Dee, what you did to Farrah was the highlight of the book for me and I loved every bit of it. I’m glad Denver and Kyandri FINALLY got on the same page cause I was ready to fight y’all both. Now to wait for Kyan story. I’m read Tacarra!!!!! Great job telling there story Miss MaMas

Strongly Disliked this one. Denver did the ultimate betrayal, by cheating on him after getting mad at so called secrets she never stuck around to hear the truth about, but Kyandri was supposedly in the wrong. He didn’t cheat. He didn’t mistreat her. Denver over reacted learning that Kyandri is married. Which he wasn’t. And learning that he had a child. Which is learned when she learned it. Kyandri character was written like a whole sucka. He let Denver say and do whatever to him after finding out his “secrets” and he only begged her and chased her down to take him back. From beginning to end he chased her down. I almost did not finish. she turned him down the whole book. She gets pregnant and boom she forgives him. Bye. He was barely concerned with the whereabouts of his new found daughter. I really wish I could unread this. It was terrible. Kyandri was whiny and clingy for Denver like she was some prize. She was an average Joe, with no redeeming qualities because someone with good qualities would not stoop so low to sleep with a stranger, first night, just to make her man mad. Kyandri did absolutely nothing to her, he gave her a pass and killed the guy, she didn’t deserve him. Rewrite and give Kyandri a new lady. 😒

That messed up the author had Kyandri go out like a simp. Ain't no way Denver sleeping with that dude could be justified in any kind of way. The man didn't cheat, didn't mistreat her nor was he messing with her and married or keeping a child from her. If she wasn't acting childish and talked to the man before she went out of town to be a whore then he probably would've explained. He shouldn't have killed dude. It wasn't his fault she acted like a thot. He should just have let her butt go. Now I understand being mad about him marrying her and being sad about losing her baby but sis non of that justifies what you did and it made me lose respect for Kyandri for just taking the bs like it was right. He deserve better than Denver trifling self. She didn't even feel any remorse for Paul. Smh

If Tacarra don’t know how to do nothing sis knows how to work my nerves bruh 🤦🏾♀️😩🤣🤣 Why would you end this book like that?! 😩 I can’t lie though Denver was getting on my nerves like forgive this man cause you know you wanna be with him and if he pop up with somebody else your chest gonna cave in. Knas be on it baby when I say bruh don’t play he had everything before anybody could ask. I love him and Promise so much I can’t wait to read more about their love blossoming but I’m glad sis realizing she’s the First Lady of the RCF. Knicole story is definitely one I’m waiting on but I think Kyan story will definitely be the messiest and I’m here for it can’t wait to read about all Aubree secrets and to hear from Kim.

Knight is still a fool 🤣, and Knas definitely doesn't play about his wife. Now, let's talk about this bombshell you dropped on us at the end of this book. You just won't be happy until Murda lives up to his name.

RFC Family Don't Play!!
What can I say about Kyandri, he is persistent in everything he does and wants. He wants Denver to sit and let him explain. Farrah didn't stand a chance because she's sneaky. He had to stop himself from snapping her neck. If it wasn't for his daughter I think he would have. Denver problem is that she doesn't want to listen and she thinks he's lying to her. She got her lick back, but her friend got it worst. Dealing with Murda and Trigg. I can just imagine. Denver knew she wanted Kyandri but she was going to make him suffer and feel her pain. Farrah thought she was really doing something by thinking that she was going to Kyandri back. Denver was caught off guard when his daughter spoke to her. I love the ladies, they got each others backs. Knasim is the detective in the family. Knight don't have any filter and he is goofy but Kyandri knows it's all love. Kyan is going to let loose Mudra if he doesn't get the answers to the questions he asking Knight is still my favorite. Knicole is patiently waiting to tell her story

Now this is just a mess. First the ex-wife pops back up not knowing she was no longer the wife, thinking she had it made she tried to belittle Denver but Kyandri wasn't having it. Now I was all for Denver getting away to Beth her thoughts together but what she did was a bit too much because she was using that man and because she wanted Kyandri to hurt only caused his end. Kyandri was not having it, he let it slide because he knew she was hurting so he forgave her while reminding her that it was his kid as well that they lost and he was hurt. What his ex-wife did was out of his control but he was not letting up on her, she was his heart and he was going to fight for her.
Now Kyan and his alcoholic wife putting him through so much but he was there for the sake of the kids, Kim came along and brought him peace exactly what he needed now they in the hospital because she was driving drunk and the twins were hurt but that cliffhanger got him stuck and even angrier what will she do now, this explains that phone conversation he walked in on, getting too good.

You can give what you don’t have. The plot conflict was built on quicksand. Dee’ reaction was just compounded idiocracy. You heard nothing about a wife; saw nothing about a wife, yearn to be a wife, complained about not being a wife, was treated life a wife, and the minute the man decides to make you his wife, you are unwilling to listen for better or worse. Clearly disqualifying you for the position, you throw in the melodramatic pouting temper tantrum. To drive the point home, you have sex you defile yourself so he can hurt too. Frankly I prefer characters to caricatures. The immaturity and low to no emotional intelligence is a turn off.
Make it make sense. I left because I was scared while pregnant with your child to be in abusive relationship. Ruin my relationship so I’m going to let you stay in MY penthouse while I try to woo my girl back.
In book 2, Syrene was an aunt only to be the twins’ mother in book 3. There are still grammatical errors, missing/displaced words.

Ok let me say this Denver’s pissed me off so bad!! In real life a black woman would never act like she did!! I lost respect for her when she slept with another man to get even I don’t care how much she claimed she was hurt, you never Idegrade yourself as a woman to get even!! So if Trig had left her a** alone altogether it would have been no one fault but hers. On top of that I get that she was blindsided but once they had talked at the restaurant it should have been dead there not dragged out as she did!! Now as for Trig he should have eliminated the problem not drag on with the theatrics. Once Knas told him why Farrah came back, they should have ended Ice immediately and Farrah too because she’s a snake as well and I don’t care nothing bout her being his baby mom, just like she didn’t care to tell him he was a father for five years!! It would be no RCF protection or money for her!! Five stars Ms. Taccara🥰

October 22, 2025DNF @ 53%. Nope. First of all, Denver and Kyandri were always the least interesting to me because they had drama going on in the first two books. Like, I don't care. So now it's their book and the drama continues. The audacity of these wives/baby mamas thinking a ring or child gives them special privileges after they do the most outrageous things is par the course for this series, and Farrah fits right in with the other knuckleheads. Denver taking some time to deal with the revelations makes sense, her does not, and at that point this relationship was dead to me. Furthermore, Kyandri ensured that that was the end of the line for me. That bish didn't even blink. You can't be serious. This was totally unacceptable and I couldn't continue.

As to these 2?? Denver loved her some Kyandri, or so we are lead to think. He finally proposes in front of all their family and friends. His ex shows up out the blue claiming to still be married to him.
However, so little about them was shared in the previous books, and he spent the entirety of this one chasing her. Trying to make up for something he really had no control over. Explain his ex and why she was there. Like where is the trust??
Meanwhile, Denver self sabotages and implodes everything they had ever had. All for what? It was hard to even root for her AT ALL, much less sympathize with her character.
Then she gets pregnant and suddenly everything is okay and she can see a relationship when not 2 minutes ago she was like "we could never be... i am just too hurt" barf!!

This is Jerri with the mess and this is really real! Kyandri/Trigg had a whole wife nobody knew about and she shows up with a ton of mess. I understand Denver's feelings, but really you slide around with somebody you met at a bar - that rubbed me wrong. Farrah pulling stunts like Tey did with Knight just shows that they liked some real birds in the Richmond family. I can see the next book being just as messy because Aubree been on some different stuff and all her secrets about to be exposed. I honestly wanted more from Kyandri and Denver because they were built up in previous books to just fall flat with me. Like if the chemistry was really real, I don't think she would have done what she did with Paul, or whatever his name was. Well, off to the next book. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Good
Editing was the best in this book than in the other two before it. Denver and Kyandri were in a relationship for years and she didn't know that he had been married until his, wife Farrah, showed up after his proposal to Denver. She was embarrassed, humiliated and angry about it all. Farrah was so cocky with her stance/status in Kyandri life because of the daughter that he didn't even know about. So why is Farrah still alive? She set up Kyandri to be jacked and killed but she still alive. Why? Smh, that irritates me cause these men are portrayed as killers that don't do disrespect, betrayal, and "the set up". I mean Knight was ready to knock Raven's head off when he thought that she had betrayed him. But Farrah got a pass? The whole gang was here for all of the drama. Kyan and Aubree's drama is up next but I think I'm gonna pass.

She was embarrassed, humiliated and angry about it all. Farrah was so cocky with her stance/status in Kyandri life because of the daughter that he didn't even know about. So why is Farrah still alive? She set up Kyandri to be jacked and killed but she still alive. Why? Smh, that irritates me cause these men are portrayed as killers that don't do disrespect, betrayal, and "the set up". I mean Knight was ready to knock Raven's head off when he thought that she had betrayed him. But Farrah got a pass? The whole gang was here for all of the drama. Kyan and Aubree's drama is up next but I think I'm gonna pass.

Daaaang Denver!
Chiiiiiile THIS BOOK HERE! Lawd'a'mercy! I am almost at a loss for words. Kyandri, IN MY OPINION, got the bad end of the stick because everything that happened with Farrah was long before Denver. He didn't intentionally set out to hurt or mislead her. So, for her to act up and get an unwarranted lick back like that...WOW! I was in here clutching my invisible pearls and hoping that I was reading a dream sequence. I was not though, so the initial hospital news had me raising my brow and thinking the worse for their future. But... she said it's his, so I am just going to roll with it. Now this segway into Kyan's story... again I say Lawd'a'mercy!!!!! I was not prepared for this crew and their saga to have me this locked in- but here we are. On to book 4!

Messy and murderous, with a whole lot of drama!!!
This book did not disappoint, and I was not ready. I didn't see some of the things happening beforehand, and that's a plus for me. Poor Murda and Trig just can't catch a break, and I could just break my foot off in Aubree, Denver, and Farrah's ass. I expected Aubree and Farrah to piss me off, but Denver let me down. I wish Trig would just be single at certain points. Knicole aggravates me something serious with her meddling. She's too deep into everybody's business for me, family or not. She needs to take it down a peg or two. My only issue with the series is that I wish they were longer, other than that, this is a highly recommended series.

The only thing I have to say is I don’t agree with Denver cheating on Kyandri & her justification for it was bullshit 🤷🏾♀️ He didn’t cheat on her, mistreat her, none of that. Should he have told her about Farrah? Maybe so, but him & Farrah were no longer married. For her to say she cheated on him to hurt him because another woman carried his child while she miscarried, even though she knew that Kyandri had no knowledge of said child, was absolutely ridiculous. That situation honestly turned me off Denver as a person & I truly was no longer interested in her. Which sucked because I enjoyed Kyandri & thought he deserved better.

I was disappointed in Denver’s behavior because she was upset with Kyandri over his past relationship status before and she allowed someone in her honey pot like that was going to change something!!!…

RCF: Kyandri
Kyandri & Denver were a long time coming!!! My girl finally got the dream come true all for a trifling Farrah. Not only did she pop up but she brought drama & a gift with her!!! This turns Denver world upside down & she couldn’t handle it at all! Kyandri had to jump into action & boy did he. Moma was not playing with him & I’m glad everybody held them accountable. I do hate that even at the end of the book Denver still was pushing him away but hey she’s hurt & now scared of the new transitions. The revelations of Kyan is 🤯 I’m jumping right over there…

Wow, wow! I knew Aubrey wasn't ish, I just want to a know whom is the baby daddy! I really like Denver, but she was a bit much, I get being blindsided, but Kyandri having a daughter, that he didn't know about, she was being a bit much, after she handled Farrah, that should have been like yeah, he's mine and try if you like! I love the guys relationship as well as the ladies, they were one another support!

The RCF men are really messy. Kya Dri had big skeletons but even before they fell out of the closet Denver had reason to leave with him taking his sweet time giving her a title. Seems like he has her by default. Murda story is interesting cause right now it’s like the pot calling the kettle black with him being mad Aubree maybe cheating and he’s giving the goods to Kim… I love that one book ends where the next begins!
