DNF @ 50%. There’s absolutely no mention of why he left the heroine for 18 years and let her believe he was dead. He likes scaring and tormenting her by leaving presents at her door. He kills people for her, etc. There’s absolutely NO chemistry between them… like, at all.

A slightly dark but a thoughly excellent story

I loved that Everly Raine has gone slightly darker with her little stories. And I have to say its a doozie, with Ethan, he's a stalker, a Daddy and he loves playing mind games with Margery who thought he was dead. And just saying he's the king of a Mafia and low and behold anyone who touches Margery they get dead.
As for Margery, the mind games he's playing are doing her head in and now even her best friend thinks shes crazy. As she finally sees Ethan she has to wonder to stay or to go and what does it say about her when she gets turned on when he kills for her?

I am so looking forward to more of these slightly darker stories, roll on in and bring it on .

Margery works with her best friend, Adalisa.
Ethan is the boss of The Montgomery Syndicate and Margery’s ( supposedly dead fiancée.
Adalisa is Margery’s best friend.
Bonnie is Ethan’s sister.

Margery and Ethan have a past. Ethan is supposed to have died 18 years ago.
Margery has a stalker ( who is it)?
Unbeknownst to her it is Ethan who is playing mind games until he can claim her.
Adalisa Margery’s friend thinks she is losing her mind with all the incidents Margery is telling her about that is happening.
Can things get resolved and they have a Happily Ever After?

This book is slightly darker than usual.

It has suspense, danger, intrigue,twists, turns.

Ethan and Margery

This is the first book in new series but is part of the same world as the author’s other series. However, it is a standalone story. I am not a fan of Ethan at all. I just didn’t understand why he had to be so cruel to Margery. Especially when he did a complete 180 as soon as they were together. I also wish Margery would have made him grovel a bit before she forgave him. Fortunately, the last part of the story was great and had some good spice in it. I am hoping that some of Ethan’s men get their own stories.

PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!!
Everly for sure went to the darker side with this book!
To absolutely honest I didn't like Ethan for what he put Bonnie through in His Perfect Cry Babies and I really wasn't overly thrilled with him the first half of this book either.
That all changed when he finally brought Margery home with him.
Love the story and can't wait for the next book in the series!

Does anyone else do the gimme hands when they see that Everly has written a new book? She does not disappoint when it comes to this story. This story makes want you just be sucked into it like vacuum and make you want the side characters to get their own story ( I hope at least 3 get their own stories.. maybe 4). You will end up binge reading this book like I did.

I love her story

I love her story and can’t wait to read them but this one Margery is a little bit to cry baby I mean chapter after chapter of her cry and care on about the same thing really no deep to her or to him either he went from stalking her and torturing her to babying her

I haven't finished this yet, but really wanted to leave a review. Characters are good and the storyline is good, if a little dark. I don't much like the hero, but I have read but it's a dark story, so okay. What I am really struggling with is the terrible editing. There are random apostrophes, spelling errors, and continuity errors. Ms Raine is usually much better than this.

Stalking Margery is the first book in the Montgomery Syndicate series. It was quite a dark and twisted story. The story focuses on Margery and her supposedly dead boyfriend Ethan who is alive and has been playing sick mindgames with her.

Wow. This was book one of the Montgomery Syndicate and was Ethan and Margery's story. Such a different take on Daddy dom. Loved the intrigue and also the variety of kink. This one really clicked with me for some reason. Loved it!!!!! A++
