A collection of twelve biographical chapters on some of most well-known female trailblazing athletes who've made huge impacts on not only women's sports but also women's rights/equality. I'd give this book a 4-4.5 Star rating if there were a few additional mini biographies incorporated. The athletes chosen to be included are from diverse backgrounds and cultures. A positive work best for middle grade audiences.

Such great inspiration for young girls
Got this one for my 8 year old daughter. She thinks she can do anything. After reading these inspiring stories to her, I know she can do anything. Women in sports have been well represented but poorly recognized. What a great collection of inspiration.

Great book that covers inspiring women athletes who never give up. It includes a diverse group so there is a role model for every young person in here. I will be recommending this book for sure.
