Eden is next to be taken. If you read the series about the Exchanged Power, you know all about the original girls. Now Raina is the “ambassador” so to speak for the women coming onboard and learning about being a conduit. In “Hunted”, Ansley was running but got caught by her mates. Now Eden and the others are on the ship headed to the Citadel. Her connection to the captain of the Madelle, Neloff. But he needs a controller to his source if he is to court her and have her as their conduit. I love that Neloff and Eden are true mates. He isn’t as cold. And there first interaction is intense. Kyrex is the controller and plans to have Eden as his. Problem: Eden wants to find a way to suppress the impulse.
Why is it that they all think they need to have a suppressant? Honestly, you know you guys are conduits. Yes, you should be given the chance to choose your mates but finding a way to stop the urge. And who do we trust? Zevon is in charge of the Citadel. He is trying to make thing right, but can we trust Laidon or even Vendet. There is so much going on with this series that still is not solved. Sharing the conduits is one issue that still needs to be corrected. And giving the girls a choice is the other.

Hunters working for the Citadel come in search of Eden (h) and the other residents of a remote Alaskan island to return them to their rightful roles in the alien world they were stolen from as young children. Eden realizes the futility in resisting the hunters and instead tries to look out for the other women. Aboard the transport ship, Eden finds herself drawn to its captain, Neloff (H), triggering shared experiences between the two and he realizes that she’s meant to be his and he’ll need to find a controller, his cousin Kyrex (H) to complete their triad. The three face lots of action adventure, and dangers, even as Neloff and Kyrex allow Eden to time to gradually allow them to claim her, though she still struggles as she must learn to accept their ownership and control, with spankings and rough sex. So much is going on with all the factions wanting control, and of course the conduits are the key – while this is a standalone, the overarching series storyline will be much richer if all the books are read in order. Plenty of hot and sexy that keeps building throughout the book. If dominant partners, spanking and rough sex aren't your thing, then this isn't the book for you. Did I mention there's a lot of hot menage action?
I LOVE the Exchanged Power Series… Each book is an action packed standalone romantic drama focusing on a different power triad and ending in a HEA. This is Eden, Neloff and Kyrex’s story… Eden and the other conduits are taken to the Citadel from Alaska where they discover everything they’ve known has been a lie. The women find themselves in the middle of an interplanetary power struggle, their future dictated by their DNA. Eden is courted as a potential mate by two Warriors, Neloff and Kyrex but after everything that’s happened, she’s not sure she’s ready to commit… I received a free copy of this book. This is the fifth book in the series. I think you need to read all the previous books to understand what is happening. There is a political element.
Eden is one of the 'rescued' women from a colony in Alaska. She is angry when she learns that she has been lied to her whole life. She wants the freedom to choose her mates, but her biology will not allow that. Once she trusts Neloff and Kyrex with her heart, they can complete the mating and become a triad.
I enjoyed both the story between Neloff, Kyrex, and Eden and the continuing story of the politics of the region.
Another twist in the Power Exchange series that has newly discovered conduits who were kept on earth, but with this one had a slightly softer feel to it then the other books Eden and her friends have been transported from earth to be returned to the citadel only to dream about the bossy Captain Neloff but as their relationship develops Neloff must convince his cousin Kyrex to become the controller in their triad But the suspense and dramatic twists definitely kept coming as the warriors allow Eden to commit to their claiming, and I can’t wait to read more in this series.
This is the fifth book in this series, but it can be read as a standalone. Warriors come to take Eden and the others from the island and learns she has been told nothing but lies. What will happen when she discovers 2 of these warriors will soon be her mates? Fast-paced sci-fi read with loads of drama, suspense, and steam. Great world building and an entertaining story. I really liked it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Eden’s experience brings more context to the series’ universe, especially with ties to earlier characters. Her relationship with Neloff and Kyrex adds dimension and a bit more tenderness, even with the expected intensity. The series lore expands as well, giving some extra meat to the plot and softening the harshness of the usual discipline-play dynamics.
Another hot read in the series and just enough difference to be as good as the rest of the series. Only disappointment is that the overarching plot isn’t finished and there is potential to write another 43 books in the series!
Wow, Eden is such a pain. She knows what she wants but keeps getting in her own way. Good thing she has two mates that know how to handle her. All she needs is someone or someones to take the choice from her and boy do they.
I did like the two parallel storylines. But I was getting s little confused in remembering who was who. I didn't understand Lauren's foolish actions. What was the purpose?
