Rainey was the newcomer to Springfield; pregnant, alone, and owning her own coffee shop. Running from her past, she keeps her head low, her friends scarce, and Daddies far away, until one fateful day she throws up in front of her coffee shop and falls into the arms of one determined Daddy.
Marco has been searching for his Little and the love of his life for years when one day Dane, his dog, takes him down a different path that leads him right by her coffee shop. After weeks, he finally takes a leap and walks up to her coffee shop to talk to her, but instead finds her throwing up and passing out in his arms.
Will Marco be able to show Rainey he is the Daddy for her? Can Rainey see past her worries to trust Marco?
Really not well written at all. A lot of details don’t add up.
Wow this is a bad one. I actually think it’s the worst of the series. There’s too many mistakes and things that don’t make any sense. Also if Rainey cries one more time I’ll throw my kindle out the window. She cries at everything, and I mean everything! I get that she’s pregnant so has a lot of hormones causing it but every time Marco says he wants to talk to her, she’s convinced that he’s dumping her and starts sobbing. It’s not just when he’s talking to her either, at one point there’s a random fight in her coffee shop and Marco steps in to break it up, and for whatever reason she’s convinced that he could have died! HOW??? This author has written Little’s like this before and I thought it had stopped but apparently it hasn’t.
Then there’s Marco. We’re expected to believe that Marco is madly in love with Rainey after seeing her a couple of times! 😂😂😂😂 When I say after seeing her, I mean not talking to her, just seeing her while he was walking his dog. Oh good grief.
The mistakes. Where do I start? Her ex is in a gang and lives miles away, then all of a sudden he’s in her town and in an Mc! 😱 WHAT???? So the ‘gang’ he was in just ‘let him go?’ Yeah of course….. Rainey lives in her office at her coffee shop, yet she rents the whole building which has an upstairs but is never mentioned again. Who lives in the rooms upstairs? Rainey in her words doesn’t have to worry about money as her dad died. Then later on she’s panicking about money, and she can’t afford blankets to sleep on! She talks about her dad as though she was devastated he died. Then later on it implies that she had an horrific childhood, and was an orphan! MAKE UP YOUR MIND! S*x without any foreplay would be painful!
Too many mistakes, Rainey is worse than a child, and their ‘love’ is laughable.
Everly raine only knows how to write one type of fmc- weak pathetic, untrusting, always has to do shit themselves but ofc this is going to get them in trouble or possibly hurt. Rating: 1.5/5, fmc is still annoying af but less annoying than the other books so there’s that👍🏼 I personally hate the concept of “oh I’m not going to say anything about my literal life threatening situation because he would’ve said no anyway so might as well do it behind his back” I’m legit not joking it feels like this plot line occurs in every single book in this series. For once, I would like the fmc to be smart and not only have two single brain cells, and actually be able to rely on the mmc for help
Edit: 0.5/5 stars because now the fmc is annoying af and I 100% think she’s being a bad mother because what do you mean you understand the danger of the situation/risks yet continue to put your PREGNANT self in it when you can so easily ask for help? So concerned of her man potentially getting hurt that she doesn’t gaf about her own mf baby? The one currently in her uterus???? These are the worse maternal instincts I’ve read, so tired of stupid weak women
I picked up this book and read it non stop it seems. Rainey has let abusive relationship and has opened a coffee shop in another town. The stress of opening a new business, and worrying about money and her ex have her exhausting herself. Being six months pregnant really has her body in a spin. It was on one of these spin outs that Marco had been walking to the coffee shop to talk to her. Instead her was taking her to the hospital after she passed out into his arms. From that moment on Marco makes it known to her that he is her Daddy but can he really keep her safe from her past. It was such a great story.
I have read all the books in this series and enjoyed them but this was probably my least favorite. There was absolutely no build up the minute Marco talked to Rainey for the first time they were in a relationship. A majority of the story takes place over the course of a couple weeks. Most of that is Rainey being anxious about everything and Marco talking her down. Then all of a sudden she has the baby and the story ends in two paragraphs. There were a couple spicy scenes and discipline scenes sprinkled in. The most interesting part was when Deccan was introduced and I hope his story is coming soon.
Rainey is pregnant and run from abusive ex, now she is running a little coffee shop
Marco has been watching her since Dane changed his walking route, stopping outside Rainey's coffee shop energy day where he watched the obviously pregnant little girl, he already knew she and the baby were his to love and care for an hadn't spoken to her yet.
Their official meeting is dramatic and Marco takes her home to care for her and the baby she is carrying, they hit it off quit realising he is her Daddy and she is no little girl.
A sweet story with some dramatic ups and downs, I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
Rainey owns her own coffee shop. She is a Little and is smart, sexy and independent. Marco is a billionaire and co-owns a club with his partners. Grace is Rainey’s employee.
Rainey and Marco meet outside her coffee shop, when she is not feeling well and collapses and he tools her to the hospital and takes care of her. The have an attraction and chemistry ( Rainey has trust issues , due to her past with the ex-boyfriend). Can Marco gain her trust and have a Happily Ever After?
This book has some suspense, intrigue and concern and caring.
Rainey is an independent coffee shop owner who is also a pregnant Little. When Marco's dog leads him past the shop, Rainey is outside violently ill and passes out in his arms. He immediately takes her to hospital, where he stays to look after her. Rainey has issues from her ex, which makes her trust ing someone nearly non existent. Marco though, has decided that she is his. Will Rainey overcome her issues or will Marco win out. There is caring, some intrigue, but total loving in this well written book.
More than a little obsessed!! I enjoy this series so much!! The daddies are so amazing and their littles are a perfect fit for them! Rainey is pregnant and is on the run from an abusive ex, Marco knows she is the one for him and steps up to take care of her! Love how protective Marco is and how seamless their relationship is from the start! Can't wait for the next book in series and I'm hoping that Echo and Deccan get their book soon!!
I love this book the characters were on point Marco was an amazing Daddy and let's just say I loved the side characters and the roles they played I can't wait for echo story because I just know that that's going to be good and that dynamic towards the end with Deaccan and Rainey was amazing
I like how Everly writes about a independent woman that wants someone to see pass that independence and let her be taken care of. I like how the hero latches onto the heroine right away and was all growly and automatically was like "MINE". Reading her books gives me hope that even though I am stubborn and dislike when someone takes care of me that I am not the only one who struggles.
i cried but out of annoyance. I wasn’t expecting this to be soo bad compared to the other books. Her other books were better. this little has no back bone. Like it’s ok to have anxiety over everything but the miscommunication was terrible. they said they would talk it out but they never did. each chapter was a miscommunication issue. Her overwhelming anxiety is giving me a headache.
A beautiful Ddlg story about a pregnant little in hiding. Struck by fate, the Daddy falls for her immediately and recognise her as his soulmate and takes a bold stand by admitting it to her and laying it all down from the beginning. Is she going to bolt or take a minute and think about it?!
Another great addition to the Missouri Daddies series. Daddy's Little Surprise was such an intense and heartwarming read. I really enjoyed reading about Marco and Rainey. I loved how kind, gentle, sweet and patient he was with Rainey.
He was a great Daddy and you can tell he'll be a great father and the baby isn't even blood related. That is amazing because a lot of men would not even date a pregnant woman. Kudos to any man who loves a woman AND her offspring.
I absolutely love this book so much and read it in 1 night since I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves and enjoys reading daddy dom and little books. I give this book a five star rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I gave this one 4 stars, simply because I thought that Rainey was too much of a clingy baby. I know that's the lifestyle, but sometimes, there is too much Little, and very brief glimpses of a grown woman, especially a pregnant one.
