Jake's Day is about a man that just needs to get some coffee for his boss, but is denied this simple task by an unforgiving world.A tragedy and branch off from my Helena Chronicles series (at least a small tidbit from somewhere beyond book five), this book expounds upon the Butterfly Effect. I try to open the reader's eyes to their actions in their environment and how simple propaganda, childish feuds, and collateral damage can have an effect on your surroundings in such drastic ways. Jake is a good, hardworking man that just wants to get his sister out of the slums, but the actions of those around him end up spelling a horrific ending.
