Imani Porter had been dating Nash Fortune. She got pregnant and disappeared from his life because he had made it clear he had no interest in being a father. Imani almost married someone else to be the father for her child but realized that was not the right thing to do. She had no feelings but friendship for the guy. Imani was driving near where Nash Fortune her ex-boyfriend lived when the car went off the road. Nash found her and was shocked she was pregnant and had not told him. He let her stag at one the cottages he owned. His and her families were very happy that they was now a young baby in the family. As Nash was around her and his son Colt, he realized he wanted to be with his family. He loved Imani and his son Colt. He was not like cold hearted father. The one issue in book near the end of chapter 16, Nash was referred to as Nate.
