In addition to giving a really thoughtful look at the time between Easter and Pentecost, the author is an expert on Thomas Cranmer. I learned more about the Book of Common Prayer, as well as the English Reformation. The writing was accessible and he used several amusing metaphors to get his points across.

I can't remember a better devotional book. Beautifully keeps together the twin graces of justification and sanctification.
