Sophia is placed in impossible situation when she is kidnapped by a mafia group and their leader reveals she will be forced to plant spyware in his enemies’ house in order for her to save her drug addicted brother who owes him a lot of money. She obviously agrees and is now forced into the home of Luka who was just released from prison after 4 years.
He has been betrayed by his uncle (who is the guy forcing Sophia) and his entire focus since being out of prison is to seek his vengeance.
During his welcome home party - Sophia is working with the catering company - and tries to plant the spyware given but instead she has the full attention from Luka who wants her, and what he wants he will usually get.
They end up having a passionate night and Sophia is able to plant like she was tasked to out of the fear she will lose her brother and also not be able to care for her sick grandmother.
The book ends on a cliffhanger as Sophia realizes she never TURNED ON the devices lol oops so now she will need to make things right which continues onto book 2.
This was a bit predictable and did not bring anything new to the mafia romance books but it's still enjoyable if you wish to read about an MMC who is 100% OTT and need to follow the suspense since you know Luka will find out what she is up to sooner rather than later. They also have great chemistry, and the sex scenes were hot.

Nothing special - predictable
If you read this genre frequently you will find that this story is predictable.
Sophia is Florence Nightingale taking care of a sick grandmother and getting her drug addicted/street dealer brother out of trouble as frequently as he gets in it. He crosses Alex, Luca’s bad boy uncle who wants to overthrow the Ivankov Bratva and of course Sophia is forced to do their bidding or else baby brother will meet a terrible end
The entire premise of sending in Sophia to plant the hearing devices throughout Luca’s home is hilarious considering Alex has professionals to do that kind of thing, not bumbling heroines. Still not enough for Alex, because Sophia is forced to interview for Yulia’s nanny position and further spy for Alex which subsequently ends in her getting caught by Luka.
I look for originality and fresh storylines with strong characters and a solid storyline. I’m passing on this series.

I LOVED IT! ‘Twisted Seduction’ is a must-read hit!!!! Not the first time I’ve said that about one of Mya Grey’s masterpieces and I guarantee it won’t be the last. There is a very good reason that I start a countdown on my phone and set every reminder on every calendar in the house; it’s because our Ms. Grey is releasing a new book and I’m all in, loving it already. I don’t have to read it to know how great the story is because she knocks it out of the park every single time, but it’s so much more fun when you do.
Ok, so this is one is some of Mya Grey’s best work right out of the gate. Epic plot twists just keep on coming. I couldn’t put it down once I started; I didn’t just read it, I devoured it. Even my dog knows to settle in cause Momma’s not moving until she’s done. Dark romance + Mafia meanies = epic storylines. She masterfully weaves the storyline, finding a way to make the worst characters suddenly become lovable and the lovable characters flip the switch, and their actions make you love them a little less for it. You’ll hate Luca, then turn the page and surprise, you’ll love him, just think vodka shots, then you’ll love him all over again. You know that old saying, “if it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all”, cue Sophia. Keep reading, a little more, a little bit more and you’ll want to smack Sophia right upside her head, but take a minute, turn the page, to understand and love her for doing what she feels she must do. There is always one who you are convinced is evil incarnate, planning their murder (even though they are just a character in the story) and unredeemable, Aleks, take one giant step forward please, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find Mya weaving her spell and redeeming him before this series is complete. I think the sexy scenes are hawt, hawter and hawtest of all her books so far. I get sucked into the story every time, feeling like I’m right there, standing just off to the side, watching it all play out in front of me.
Simply put; “Mya Grey is to Dark Mafia Romance what French Fries are to Mickey D’s!”

I need the next book now! That was so damn good. I couldn't put it down. I was completely wrapped up in Luka and Sophia's story from the quick intro before Chapter One.
Luka is fresh out of a four-year stint, and Sophia is trying to save her family. She is forced to help Luka's biggest enemy but doesn't realize who she is being sent in to spy on. Their first meeting is everything I wanted and more. The intrige, the instant chemistry, the witty banter back and forth. OMG, it was amazing! The sexual chemistry between these two set the pages on fire and had me fanning myself. I love a well written Dom. Add in the Mafia ties... well, that just takes the cake. Luka is drool worthy, and I need more.
While reading this book, I could feel Sophia's heartbreak having to do something she didn't want to, especially when it gets her involved with the mafia. She once again is called in to take care of her family, the only one who can. So much responsibility on someone so young. She's just trying to keep her head above water.
This book ends on a great cliffhanger. I wonder if Luka is going to figure out why Sophia is back? Will she get the job of nanny to his little sister, or will she be offered a different position 😉? Oh lord, I can't wait to see where Mya takes us in the next book. All I know is I'm sure it will be just as hot and sexy as this one. Well done, Mya! Well done!

I love Mya Grey, I would go so far to say that while I get them thru ku, as soon as the series are available as bundles, I buy them. That’s how good they are, I read and re-read them, I’ve read three, fifteen books total, of her previous series and loved them, plus some stand-alone novellas.
Like most of her dark mafia books, it starts of intense and with murder and torture, Mya writes strong characters, Luka is not a hero, he’s a criminal. Her characters range from morally gray to deep, dark and sadistic. Luka falls somewhere in between. He’s steadfastly loyal to his bratva and his family. Sophia, I LOVE her characters, she’s so damn gutsy, she doesn’t quit. She is devoted to her caring for her grandmother, and sadly bailing her junkie brother out of trouble. Which is what lands her square in the middle of a mafia war between Luka and Aleks.
Mya knows how to write a suspenseful story as well as making sure there is plenty of heat between the main characters. Even better, is watching how the supporting characters around them fit in. You know eventually you’ll get to learn their stories as well. Not going to lie, she kills me with the cliffhangers, THEY ARE SO GOOD! I am dying over here waiting, really, she is just that good.

Luka Ivankov spent four years in prison. His best friend and right hand man is Erik Volkov. He ran the business while Luka was in prison. Dimitri Orlov rounds out the group of three friends and he is the enforcer for the family. Luka’s dad died and his Uncle Aleks plotted with some of his father’s men to take the Ivankov Bratva from Luka.

Are you a fan of Dark Mafia and Gothic Romances ? Well If you answered Yes !! Then you are not going to want to miss Twisted Seduction !!!! The First installment in Mya’ ( Ivankov Brat-va Trilogy . Luca and Sofia are going to take you on one wild ride so settle in grab on tight and prepare yourself to be wowed . The intrigue, the suspense, the oh so steamy moments, the non stop action, the twists and turns, the drama , the passion , the family and friendships , the morally grey and obsessive / protective alphas and a heroine that’s sassy , confident, strong and takes no BS from anyone . It’s has it all and so much more . There truly were moments i found myself utterly speechless and others I almost threw my reader right across the room outta pure frustration. I cried like a baby and I rooted so freaking hard . Truth be told Mya has a gift of inventing the most wonderfully written storylines and characters that are so unique and so multi layered you simply cannot stop yourself from becoming 100% invested . Twisted Seduction is Dark Romance at its best a 10/10

4.5 Stars!! This is the start of a new mafia series about the Ivankov Bratva. Luka is out of prison after four years and his men throw him a party. Sofia is a waitress at the party but also has an ulterior motive for being there. When Luka sees her, there is an immediate attraction. She is real and feisty, and it is just what he is looking for the night. He shows her his dominate side and she can't do anything but give into him. But she is there to spy on him for his uncle who is Luka is about to go to war with. If she is not successful, her brother will be killed. Her world continues to fall apart after their night and she is told she must become Luka's sister's nanny and spy on him for Alik, his nephew if she wants her family to live. Will she get the job? Will she be able to do what needs to be done to save her family? Ends in a cliffhanger. Looking forward to what happens next.

Mya Grey is the Queen of Dark Romance. This book takes you on a tipsy turvy ride through the Russian Bratva. Its inner workings and the fighting between the different factions. Mya takes you inside and then some.
Luka is an anti-hero that you will love even after what he does. The way he looks at Sophia, the first time he sees her, you know they are in for an incredible roller coaster ride.
Their romance is so steamy, my glasses fogged. But Sophia has a secret and a mission. She has to plant a bug in Luka's home or office in order to save her brother. She is able to place a bug or two in his house, but she forgets to turn them on. Well, because Luka was there to catch her and made her forget everything except his body!
How can you not love Luka? And poor Sophia. How many more things can go wrong in her life? Will she trust Luka enough to let him know what Aleks is doing? My heart is racing from reading this story!! Now I can't wait for Book 2!!!!

Another Mafia romance that has hooked me from the first page.Mya certainly knows how to do dark romance, we are introduced to Luka from the Ivankov Russian mafia, he’s recently out of prison and looking for revenge. The anti hero as he’s dark, dangerous and brutal but we get a glimpse of a softer side when he’s with his little sister. At his welcome home party he meets Sophia and sparks fly. Sophia has been dealt a crappy hand in life a tough cookie with the weight of the world. In order to save her brother and best friend she has to work with Luka’s worst enemy. My heart goes out to her. There’s danger, violence, treachery and plenty of heat in his new series and I’m here for it. A dynamic and steamy couple for sure. Ends on a cliffhanger. Received this arc from the author and my review is my own opinion. Highly recommend.

The story is well written and exciting; the sex scenes are hot.
However, there are three things that I was mad about. First, they didn't use contraception; pulling out isn't a contraceptive method! They haven't even said a word about it. They're total strangers; one of them was in jail for four years! I don't understand this; how irresponsible can an author be? There are young women who read this and think it's okay! Where is the issue in writing this half sentence "He pulled over a condom and ..." ???
The second thing is that the book stops pretty soon with a cliffhanger. I'd say after the first third of an average book. There are three books which are sold separately, which could have been one book in total. Why? Why didn't the author just write one whole book and that's it?
Third thing: so many typos.

I love the way Mya Grey writes dark mafia romance - her books may be short, however her series always links well together, I tend to buy the whole series, once I have read the arc's.
Luca and Sophia's story is full of spice and drama and their chemistry is off the charts. I was captivated from the start, Sophia needs to do something in order to free her brother, however, can she succeed through the danger, plot twists and surprises in order to ensure her brother's safety or will Luca fall for the clumsy waitress? This well written book, with great characters, ends on a cliff hanger and I cannot wait to find out what happens next. Along with the steamy scenes, I love the humour that Sophia brings into this book. Looking forward to reading the next instalment.

A great start to Luka and Sophia's story. Dark and dangerous, the world of the Russian Bratva, Luka the Bratva lord is released from prison and meets up with Sophia whilst she waitresses at his welcome back party. But Sophia is there for one purpose only, to act as a spy for Luka's uncle Aleks as he holds Sophia's brother hostage. How do you spy on a Bratva lord, successfully? Sophia struggles with her lust and desire for Luka after a night of heated passion with him and fails in her mission to spy for Aleks. Luka cannot think of anything else but the one night he spent with Sophia. Is the lust of one-woman turning Luka soft? This book has all the feels and shows how brutal being a Bratva Lord can be.
A great beginning to their story ending in a cliff hanger.... Cannot wait to read book 2.

This is the first book in a new mafia series featuring the Ivankov Bratva. Luka has been released from prison after serving four years. To welcome him home his men throw a party for him. At the party he meets Sofia, who's working as a waitress, although she's not who she seems. From his very first sight of her Luka feels an immediate attraction to this feisty woman.
They hook up and when he shows her his dominant side she's helpless and has no resistance against him. I'm not going to tell you why she's engineered their meeting what I will say is the story is well written and smooth flowing and although the story does end in a cliffhanger it is well worth reading.

This first book in the series was so good. The instant chemistry between Luka and Sophia was incredible, even though she resisted. Sophia’s brother, Nilo, has gotten himself into a lot of trouble. To help keep him alive, she is forced to spy on Luka Ivankov, a Russian mafia leader. Not knowing how strong and sensual he was, she was taken off guard and ended up in his bed, giving her the opportunity to plant microchips so her brother’s kidnappers and Luka’s enemy could spy on him. Now she is forced to get the job of being Luka’s little sister’s nanny to keep her brother alive. How will she resist him? I received an ARC copy from the author and this is my honest review.

The story had me on tenterhooks as I turned the pages thinking about if the heroine was going to get caught, but the cliffhanger left me itching to read the next book in the series. If you are looking for excitement, drama, action and unbridled steaminess, then grab a copy of this book and begin your mind blowing journey into a world danger and pleasure.

And she is back. I always look forward to Mya's books because her Mafia books are filthy, dangerous and ruthless. Everything a steamy Mafia Romance needs.
This was about Luca trying to rebuild life again after his uncle destroyed and stole most of his Bratva.
Poor Sophia. She really has had it tough and I really wanted to cry for her. She has to be deceitful to save her loved ones.
I can't wait for book 2. My heart was in my mouth for Sophia in the beginning and now it's starting all over again for her in anticipation of what's to come.

This was about Luca trying to rebuild life again after his uncle destroyed and stole most of his Bratva.
Poor Sophia. She really has had it tough and I really wanted to cry for her. She has to be deceitful to save her loved ones.
I can't wait for book 2. My heart was in my mouth for Sophia in the beginning and now it's starting all over again for her in anticipation of what's to come.

Mya is the bomb. She knows how to write a short dark romance that will have you wanting more. l This Ivankov Bratva series is goanna be another 5-star hit. Luka is finally out of jail after serving a 4-year sentence. Sophia is at his party to plant bugs to spy on him so that she can save her brother. What will happen when Luka set his sights on the clumsy waitress? Well let’s just say it is smoking hot and you don’t want to miss not one page of this book. I need book 2 like NOW!!!

Wow what a great start to the series.
Poor Sophia blackmailed to save her brother and survive the Russian mafia.So she has to go Luka home and plant bugs in his home.
Luka out of prison after 4' years so his men throw a party for him but when he sees clumsy waitress Sophia her wants her.
There a lot of danger, violence ,suspense and plenty of steamy scenes. Well written and great characters but ends on a cliffhanger.
Can't wait to read the next book in the series

The Beginning…
Luka and Sophia have their meet cut complete with a try of spilt vodka on Luka and the dramatic exit as he carried her to his room. Sophia has a big secret and knows her life and her brother’s are in danger but she’ll do what she must for family. This book has a handsome Bratva leader, and evil uncle, a fiery spitfire of a woman, mob violence and lots of steam. There is a cliffhanger of sorts but the trilogy is complete and you won’t have to wait forever for the book to come out lol.

This first book had me hooked from page one. The characters, the action, the drama and the chemistry pulled me into Luka and Sophia's story and I couldn't put the book down. Sophia is so strong and opinionated but she's also immune to Luka's charms... Her reactions are very entertaining and I was grinning from ear to ear! Mya Grey is a master storyteller and I can't wait to read book 2. Great book!!!

When you combine a dark handsome tall mafia male with a beautiful "good" girl things happen. Luka and Sophie's story is just starting, but what a start. Sophie should have told Luka at the beginning what she was doing and why. There is drama, sex, violent, and everything you could ask for in a book. You would not be able to put it down. If you did not read the series "Brutual Kings" you are missing out.

Books that end on a cliffhanger are not my favorite, but this one is incredible; I read it in one sitting and loved it. Has fantastic characters, Luka, who is extremely dominant with the danger aura, is manly and amazing, Sophia, who is dragged into the thick of a Bratva battle, is sassy, says first and thinks after, she is fun, feminine, strong, and I a match for Luka, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

She is sent to spy on him in return for the release of her brother. But, things turn into something unexpected the night Sophia makes it into Luka’s home undercover as a catering waitress. How will Sophia infiltrate Luka’s business without being caught. Can’t wait to read Book 2, Tangled Seduction.

Holy moly! I need a Luka *whew. A commanding and dominating man is hot. There isn’t anything someone wouldn’t do for family. Sophia is willing to prove what she would do to save her brother. It’s like going into the Lions Den when Aleks has her to be a “spy” for him to find out Luka’s every move. But will she be able to resist those blue eyes of his. I need part soon cause that cliffhanger was woooo!

As a long-time fan of Ms. Grey, I was excited to read her latest series. I've been out of the review game lately, but I'm thankful to be back and read book 1. I was enthralled with the story and characters. I already had an idea where the storyline would go, but I enjoy the twists that have me experiencing every emotion Sophia has shown so far. I cannot wait to read book 2 and see just how far down the rabbit hole it will go. I received this ARC read for an honest review.

This is the first book of the series and it is an amazing start to the twisted romance between Luka and Sophia.
The plot captivates the reader’s attention from the start. There is lots of secrets, steamy hot moments and undeniable attraction between the main characters.
It is a short read and ends with cliffhanger but I know Mya Grey would the next installment very soon.

What a way to kick off a new series! I was on the edge of my seat while reading. Sophia has had a rough time, and that’s putting it lightly, so when trouble arises again, she doesn’t hesitate to help her brother. Luka just got out and meets Sophia at his party and is instantly drawn to her. Little does he know what she’s really there for. The two have this sort of instant connection. The tensions are high and the suspense will have you hooked till the last page. So ready for book two!

I love Mya's books and this one didn't let me down,but I feel like I have read it before! Luka is a man that you don't let down because you won't win.Sophia just needs a break or a fair shake but gets caught in Alex's trap and under Luka radar.This book is dark,intense, it shows a soft side from Luka that his little sister brings out and some ways Sophia does too.Look forward to book two.
