Warrior Kings of Alioth #6

Saved by Starlight

Rate this book
The vicious alien warrior hates that we're fated mates. I think he'd rather kill me than keep me.

LENA

When my sister, Ada, and I were abducted from Earth, my life began. Finally, I found my purpose: help our captors revive their species after a terrible war destroyed their planet. Call it Stockholm syndrome if you want, but they needed me.

So when Ada sends an angry alien warrior to “save” me, I’m not interested. At least, not interested in being rescued. I’m very interested in my cold, handsome rescuer…especially when he recognizes me as his fated mate!

But as romantic as that sounds, I’m a complication he doesn’t want. Every time I look into his piercing eyes, I wonder....will he learn to love me? Or will he stop at nothing to destroy the fragile bond between us?

LYRO

All my life I’ve been a puppet, used by those whose power exceeded my own: My father, the Emperor. The High Priest who’s eager to take his place. My five brothers, each the ruler of a planet while I have none.

But now that my father’s dead and my oldest brother has taken the throne, I’ve begun to cut my strings. I just have one more mission before I’m free: find her.

My brother wants her because she’s the sister of his queen. The High Priest wants her to use against him. I don’t care either way, as long as I’m through with both of them…

Until the moment I catch her scent and realize the goddess has made me the greatest puppet of all. The little terrakin is my fated mate, and there’s no tether stronger than that bond. No puppet string with greater pull.

Good thing my knife is sharp.

I am so in love with this series and this Author! Very few authors make my buy the physical book list, 5 to be exact and she’s one of them!

World and character building is extensive don’t ask me how but it feels like reading a full 600 page novel!
No typos here, this is well written and articulate.

Spice levels 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ the tropes vary between this series and I love how eclectic they are. Btw the males change colors with there feelings like a mood ring so beautiful!

Story blurb: may contain spoilers:
This is the last book in the series and it has the kingless king brother who is hated and misunderstood. Lyro may be a jerk but his mate loves him through it all and softens him. Lena may seem naive but her heart is pure and compassionate. These two fit so well darkness and light. They go through many growing pains to trust each other and realize they’ve fallen in love.
Triggers: Lyro is morally grey which comes with alpha-hole treatment and Lena has been abused and used(light trigger). I promise they find ground together and it’s not hard to read.

If you want to read this start with the first in the series stolen by starlight they should be read in order for the best experience and so worth it! I’m anxiously awaiting an omnibus hardback for this series!! It’s that dam good!

(I ARC read this that’s how I’m reviewing early really upset at the troll who rated it falsely prior to any ARC or release so clearly they didn’t read it!!!)

Lyro hates Lena's laugh and even threatens to hurt or kill her, but I love how Lena counteracts Lyro's grumpiness with her literal sunshine personality. She throws positive outlooks on life and kindness at him. He keeps provoking her, but she doesn't give her the reaction he wants. Their interaction is deliciously torturous—I'm here for it!

When Lyro meets Lena and discovers she's his fated mate, it's like leaving him in a meadow full of wildflowers. He doesn't know if he's going to enjoy the scenery or burn the entire field. It's fun seeing him struggle to cope up with Lena's playful taunting to get a first kiss out of Lyro.

Sara masterfully holds my attention and curiosity with the story of the youngest who also starved for affection. For me, this is the best book in the series. Often, a series starts strong and declines in quality, but this one just keeps getting better and better. Sara saved the best for last—the banter, the humour, the characters, and the story that wrapped up the series. The spice, the emotion, the suspense, and the thrill are all there. Then there's Harl, and then there's Lele. Then there's the happy-ever-after. I was emotionally wrecked in a good way, if that even makes sense.

You can't make this book more perfect

I wasn't sure what to expect from the fmc because mostly they tend to be bratty in this type of dynamic. But she was flipping awesome. Mature, loving, intelligent, and innocent to the point of stupidity. It's okay though because she can't Hage zero flaws. And if a character is going to have a flaw, sweetness and a need to take care of things at the expense of her life and common sense seems justifiable.
The mmc was really everything you could ask for if you need a loveable butthole.
First He tries to k1ll her pet, then adopts it and lays claim to the thing. First he gets mad about her tending baby frathiks then adopts the one she helped hatch. Gives her all his furs to sleep on. All his clothes. Finds his favorite food. Allllll the while threatening to reject their bond and k1ll her.
It's a really nice slow burn love, but the spice heats up fast and it's glorious.
The science and world building was phenomenonal. Really you can't get better than the writing and descriptions. This thing deserves an award.
I cried my freaking eyes out at the end. It's also surprisingly funny. Like laugh out loud that's the best.
I highlighted a crap ton of awesomeness in this book.
I love that love persevered as opposed to conquered. It was a really important message.
Tbh. I really can't say I'm sorry about what happened to a certain frathik. Geez. That was painful to read and really made me angry. But in a good way. I mean there are idiots like that in rl. So it's absolutely believable in its horrendous functionality. So sorry not sorry about the way that all came to head. Karma. The small redemption arc was good.
Overall 5 stars and if I could give more I would.

I was thoroughly absorbed by this book. I wanted to punch Lyro, but I could also relate to his disbelief at Lena's utter goodness. Talk about your grumpy-sunshine trope. The story kept a good pace, with great characters and an interesting plot. On a scale of 5 chili peppers, maybe a 2.5, but there's good tension throughout. Overall, the series is a definite 4.5 and a great way to wile away the hours.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

🔥 “I’m no king, Alara. With you, I am just a worshipper on my knees.”
~~~
Lena is an incredible woman! She’s kind, compassionate, caring and always ready for help. Even more, I loved her optimistic views and her sunshiny personality. She’s a woman who’s always trying to see the good in people and is ready to face any hardships thrown her way with a smile on her face. Lena is an incredible and pure woman and I loved her so, so much!
And then, we have Lyro! Throughout the stories I’ve always had mixed feelings about him. He was there to help his brothers and their mates but he always had an agenda of his own. Lyro is one dark, intense and cold male. Even more, he’s dangerous, arrogant, possessive and scheming. But Lyro is also misunderstood and there’s another side of him, too - the one of a fierce, caring, protective and thoughtful warrior. Lyro is a complex male with many sides and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Lena and Lyro! Lena is helping the Frathiks revive their species when Lyro crash-lands on their secret hideout. The dark and mysterious Irran has come to “rescue” the Irran Empress’ sister but the sunshiny terrakin is not interested in being rescued at all. Oh, I adored those two together! They were as opposite as night and day, and yet their different personalities fit so well together! I adored their banters, teasings and the constant push and pull. Lyro is a vicious male, but I adored Lena for never giving up on him and having the courage and strength to love him exactly as he is. And we also get to understand why Lyro is the way he is. Even more, as much as Lyro was trying to fight the mate bond, fate cannot be denied. What is meant to be, is meant to be. And when they couldn’t resist the undeniable attraction, the passionate moments they shared were off-the-charts hot and so deliciously naughty! Lena and Lyro were absolutely perfect for each other and I couldn’t get enough of either of them!
In addition, the storyline was spectacular! So much is happening, difficult choices need to be made and everything is at stake. And I was absolutely glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see how everything will be resolved.
Overall, the story is another magnificent addition to the series and an incredible series finale! It’s filled with suspense, action, danger, twists, humor, drama, scorching-hot passion and remarkable characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!
* I was given an arc for an honest review
Saved by Starlight is the electrifying final story in the 6 book series of the Warrior Kings of Alioth. While Lena's whereabouts are a mystery throughout the 6 installments, we come to find that she has been holed up on a different planet, working to save an alien species. Lyro, the mysterious shadowy asshole that's plagued us throughout the series, embarks on his final mission to find and bring her back. While he is uncertain if she is to live or die, sparks fly as the sudden surprise of finding her to be his Alara comes into play.
I have been waiting to finish the series since last year, and I am proud to say I am NOT disappointed! Miss Sara Ivy Hill has satisfied me via Starlight for the last and final time as the stories come to a close.
While I always questioned Lyro's motives, I was amused to find he has ALWAYS questioned his as well. The character development was beautiful and I loved how they both changed, whether it was to sharpen or dull each other's metaphorical blade. The conversational humor and culture shocks between both species always humor me as well and make for good comic relief. I usually don't enjoy a love triangle but the complex situation as well as the writing had me invested. I love Lena's personality, and as someone who just went through a toxic breakup, her healing energy helped me as well. The only thing that kept me from reading cover to cover in the span of a day was the brutal reality that bills exist and I had to work 10-hour shifts all week :(. I never wanted to put it down. Every emotionally tense scene tugged at my heart.
While Saved by Starlight is probably one of my favorites in the series, I was a little disappointed to find a lack of epilogue between all of the characters together. I wish there would have been more of a reunion between them all. But at the same time I can't find too much fault there as this was Lena & LYRO's story, not there's. I also wish that the epilogue would have gone into more detail with Lele and her biological father, but I was still overly satisfied with the end. :)
The Warrior Kings of Alioth was the first alien series I ever read, and now I feel I will forever be searching for a series to make me feel like this again.
I just want to thank the author for taking all the time and care she needed to perfect this one, because wow was it amazing.
I wanted to pick this up after reading the novella (#0.5 in the series) and jumped straight into it eager to uncover what happened to the couple in the novella.
And they appear a few pages in, Rose and Oljin (now in their fifties) are living on the hidden side of a planet with Frathiks (another alien species) helping them to restart their race. Lena works with Rose in the Hatchery to ensure that their young survive and most importantly that the species carries on. Lyro's father destroyed the Frathik's planet.
It was a little confusing on what his plan is as he has been in an environment that is toxic and cutthroat, he has become mean, grumpy and wary to survive. Considered the unwanted brother of the group, he is longing for freedom.
He agrees to bring Lena back to her sister Ada. he is mean and rude to her but strangely she takes it in stride and behaves in unexpected ways with him. She is rather cheerful and positive, perhaps naive?
But she has had trauma too being abducted and past bad experiences that her outlook in life is just to go with it. They notice that they are fated mates as soon as they see each other. She is his Alara and he thinks that the Goddess is laughing at him. I see why the author indicates in her note at the start that his behaviour is not healthy and should not be taken for an example of normal romantic relationship.
The hero is very pricky and says many hurtful and concerning things to the heroine like he will kill her (omg) or that he does not like her but she seems to understand that he does not mean it and because the story is also told from the hero’s pov, the reader knows that he does not mean it. It is a strange couple dynamic. He lashes out at times because that is his learned behaviour growing up around his father and the high priest, Zomah who has alot of impact with him. They talk about being a pet and having a pet and use those words on each other as well. I did like that she tries to help him unlearn the toxic thinking and behaviours he is used to. What I found fascinating about the Irran is that their emotions show as colour on their skin so they cannot hide how they feel.
I felt that the heroine says ILY too fast and often for me to believe. The discussions they have about being captive and trapped as well as whether people are using you as opposed to being genuine was thought provoking.
Tropes: fated mates, grump-sunshine, he is a bully, dark vs light (literally he is black/grey whilst sge has pale skin and white blind hair)
“If I can’t have my prize in power, I’ll take it in freedom. And if I can’t have it in freedom, I’ll take it in blood.”
Lyro is tasked with finding the remaining Terrakin woman, Lena. Fortunate for him, he knows exactly where she is. Unfortunately for him, Alioth (his Goddess) decides that he deserves a fated mate, and such a terrible thing has never happened to him. Ever.
Lyro stole a few red flags and yet, I still love him. If you’ve read the rest of the series, you’ve seen Lyro. He’s not a nice man. Unfortunately for him, book red flags are a green light for me so LET’S GO. I freaking devoured this because I’ve been chomping at his book since book 2, and it did not disappoint. And to his red flags, to his moral greyness, is Lena who is bright, golden sunshine. She’s steadfast and loyal, and her moral compass never wavers. It’s a black cat, golden retriever relationship, and she’s the golden retriever.
Also Harl.
This is technically the last book in the series and it made me tear up as I was finishing it. Also, I got to 89% on my lunch break and then spent the rest of the afternoon sneaking peaks so I could finish it. But damnit I love them.
Saved by Starlight
This MMC is definitely one of the best asshole MMCs ever. As the author describes him perfectly in her Note,
“He’s still a jerk—he’ll always be a jerk—but she speaks fluent jerkish.”
They make a great couple. The MFC has the ability to not take all his criticisms personally. She spends most of the story helping him “unlearn” the abuse he was raised with. He knows nothing of generosity and love,
“I am taking, and somehow, she is receiving. What kind of mathematics is this?”
One of my favorite messed-up passages from the MMC,
She asks,
“I need you to be nice to me right now. Please, can you pretend you like me for one minute?”
His response,
“I don’t like you.” Lightning-fast, he grabs my throat, pulling me close with a scary look on his face. He squeezes, cutting off my air. Is this how I die? “I’m obsessed with you. Addicted to you. Unable to breathe when I think of losing you. Sick about what I might have to do to you. Isn’t that enough?”
He's so dark and intense, and she is the perfect foil,
“She can love endlessly. That’s why she doesn’t guard it. That’s why she’s so generous, even to those who don’t deserve it. Even to me.”
The character growth is complex and well explained. The spicy scenes are written well to further the development of their relationship. I thoroughly enjoyed their dialogue and interactions.
“My body is yours,” I tell him…”My heart is yours. My life is yours. I want you.”
“My life has been so often out of my hands that I’m pretty good at just rolling with whatever comes my way.”
“Maybe that’s why the goddess brought us together, because you need someone who will forgive you until you can forgive yourself.”
Poignant, yet hopeful and ultimately uplifting story about the damage and pain inflicted on a child then warrior Lyro and his Alara, or fated mate, Lena. Lena also has known emotional abuse after the loss of her parents at a young age with only her sister as solace. Everyone deserves a chance at redemption and Lyro is offered his when sent to “rescue” Lena and return her to her sister and human friends who are now married to his brothers. It is immediately apparent she is his Alara but Lyro goes out of his way to push her away even while deep inside knowing she will be his everything. Even with all she has endured since being orphaned, then abducted from Earth, she finds the good in all and cares deeply for the Frathik people who are Lyro’s sworn enemies.
Expect dark words and threats from Lyro to Lena - she knows he doesn’t really mean them. Lena also learns the truth about her abduction as well. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
he can’t help loving her, we can’t help adoring the alphahole
In the beginning of the series, I was guardedly optimistic about who Lyro was based on how he behaved with Ada. Lena is just the type to love any and all wild creatures and I knew if someone could coax devotion out of someone like Lyro, it would be Lena.
We learn early on that Chanish was a terrible, abusive, emotionally manipulative parent. His quest for power ensured he’d never have an Alara, but his sons and his concubines suffered in the process. Enter Lyro who is a literal wild creature, wary of love and affection. I think Chanish kept Lyro closest to himself because his youngest son’s potential was greater due to his strategic mind and potential to truly love.
Lena had a tendency of letting others take advantage of her in order to preserve her peace and she did tend toward naïveté eat times. But she also had a heart as pure as the purest gold, which ultimately gave her the strength to stand up for what she thought was right.
I loved finding out more about Chanish and Oljin’s histories and seeing how Alioth guided her Jaras to repairing the damage their fathers wrought. I absolutely loved this series and can’t wait to see what Ms. Hill has in store for us next.
This is the last book in a fabulous series and I’m sad to see it end but I have enjoyed every character and their journeys and this is Lena and Lyro story. Lena is a human that was abducted from Earth with her sister Ada but Lena has always been a people pleaser and believes that she is helping to revive there species but her sister is now Queen and has sent Lyro a warrior and he mates brother to save her and bring her home. Lyro just wants to walk away from it all and after his father died his oldest brother took the Throne with his Queen and he is tasked with one last mission and thats to bring the Queens sister home to her and so he heads out. The High Priest wants her as well to use against them to take the Throne but when Lyro catches her scent he realizes she is his fated mate and all his plans will change if he lets her in. How does it all work out when one is grumpy and isn’t looking for a mate and the other one is like a ray of sunshine that draws you in and gives you hope of a different life and world.
3.5 stars.
Out of all the books and the characters, I struggled with Lyro the most. Like Sara says in her author's note, he's a jerk and he will always be a jerk and I can fully stand behind that. He is a jerk but he is also kind of lovable. But I will admit I struggled with him and his love story. Lena I loved from the beginning and I can definitely relate to her mentality that it's better to have a bruised heart because you trust, than a perfectly preserved heart because you never let anyone get close.
I like how the overall story concluded and while I would've loved to have seen Rose a bit more, I can understand why we didn't and I can imagine her happily ever after with her own Irran. And I do like that Lyro and Nik had their reconciliation on screen (I will again imagine the rest of them off-screen). And I agree with Nik and think he made the wise choice.
This story has been so much fun to to follow and I am so glad I took this ride with all the Warrior Kings and their Warrior Queens. Love the entire series a lot!
3.9💫 Fenomenal.
Como siempre una historia única, romántica y muy dinámica. Con comentarios ingeniosos y u equilibrio perfecto entre el romance y el drama.
Aunqueeeee si le sufrí más que en otros libros por el positivismo de Lena, que francamente rayaba en lo estúpido.
Creo que ese es mi gran problema con el libro. Todo el tema del abuso de los Franklin con ella y su actitud hacia este mismo, siento que fue mal tratado. Hubo escenas que si me parecieron un claro tipo de acoso sxual y ella siempre perdono fácil o lo veía como un favor. Un claro síndrome de Estocolmo si me preguntas.
Quizás se escribió así para evitar que el drama se agrandara y tomará mayor protagonismo que el romance (cosa que agradezco) pero la verdad no creo que haya sido el tema o conflicto adecuado para esta trama.
Sin embargo, lo disfruté mucho y sin duda me pone muy triste haber terminado con este universo ☹️. Desearía que escribiera más libros sobre la siguiente generación.
En general una saga altamente recomendable si buscas parejas aliens predestinadas con una cultura diferente y muy dinámica 💜
A great ending to a wonderfully written series. I followed along with Lyro in the books he appeared in, and I knew he must have had some good in him because of how he helped Ada.
As his story unfolded in his own words, I found him to be not such a vile villain. More of a damaged man because of his background. He wasn’t irredeemable at all.
The reasoning behind his behaviour, and how he changes after meeting his Queen, is touching, and funny. By funny, I mean his way with words. Though the things he said were often unkind, it was the way he insisted he was this way or that. But like Lena, I could see what was beneath the surface. I tried not to like him, and I even got cross with Lena a few times for putting up with him. But again, as things unfolded… well, it all made sense to the story. It was so good. Well written, well-developed characters with quirks and personalities. Also great worldbuilding made this series fantastic. I will be reading the entire series again.
Lyro is everyone’s favorite person to hate in this series and I couldn’t wait to read his story! Lyro and Lena were put through so much and were the most deserving of their happy ever after. They played their parts of the quintessential grumpy/sunshine trope to perfection. We get glimpses of why Lyro is the way he is throughout the series but this book really dives into why he became the villain when he was really a seriously misunderstood and misguided hero too. Lena is such a sweet and giving person despite what she’s been through in life and she learned to become strong through her perceived weakness. She softened Lyro’s hard edges and he strengthened her in her supposed weakness. Perfect together. The chemistry was off the charts. I had to take moments to fan myself. Saying goodbye to the characters of this series is bittersweet but this book was such a great ending to a series I enjoyed and highly recommend.
4.5⭐️
Aw, I can't believe the series has now ended, I really did love this series.
Finally, we get Lyro and Lenas' story and this was the 1 I was excited to get to as I knew there had to be some goodness in Lyro (even if it was only for Lena and even then it was questionable).
Lena was taken away from her sister and the other women who were abducted from earth and for the 1st 5 books we assume she is being held captive still by the same alien species that abducted her from earth and as we know from previous books they claim she is where she wants to be even thought noone not even her sister can get to speak to her.
Lyro is tasked to bring her to her sister, but when he finds her and she is shown to be his fated mate, he decides he doesn't want a mate he wants Lena as a pawn in his game to be free and will use her to bargain with which side ends up victorus, either his brothers and their mates or the priests and the eye.
OMG, I loved this book, as well as the entire series. In fact, Sara Ivy Hill is one of my favourite authors. This book is a page-turner that keeps you up at night. The writing, the plot, the characters and the world building are all amazing! Two of my favourite tropes are in this book, grumpy/sunshine and close proximity. There is action, adventure, romance, humour and some great spice.  Lena is all sunshine with a big heart, and she really seems to know how to handle Lyro. Lyro is grumpy and has some darkness in him, so he is the opposite of Lena, and they just fit so well together. He is ready to kill her when he first meets her and he certainly does not want a mate, but he's hard-pressed not to fall in love with Lena. He does really sweet things for her, despite the fact that he is not sweet! I recommend reading the books in order in this series to get the maximum enjoyment from them.
Loved this last book. While it isn’t my favorite of the series, it is still such a good story! Lyro and Lena are actually a great couple. Some people may say Lena is naive, but to me she was so used to people using her that she just started going with the flow. While Lyro is grumpy and harsh with her, it truly helps her to see that she doesn’t have to change, but that she does deserve to be treated better. And I love that. They truly loved each other for who they were and didn’t expect each other to change-didn’t want it either. It was very refreshing, especially since they are both a bit morally gray.
The bad guys get what’s coming to them, secrets are revealed, and friendships are strengthened. It was truly enjoyable and I look forward to my reread of them!
I did receive an ARC and this is my honest review.
Lena (h) works alongside Harl and Ruth on a distant alien base to raise and ensure the survival of the last hope of the Frathik species—hundreds of fragile eggs. Her routine is upended by Lyro (H), an Irran sent by her sister to retrieve her. Initially antagonistic and dismissive, Lyro struggles with his growing attachment to Lena and her mission. Despite his cynical outlook, Lyro finds himself drawn to Lena and her influence begins to soften Lyro’s hardened exterior as he starts to appreciate the value of her work. As they face external threats and work together to protect the fragile lives in their care, Lena and Lyro’s bond grows, and things heat up between the two. Hot and steamy grumpy-sunshine, alien-human romance exploring unity, hope, compassion, resilience, connection, and more.
First off, I love this series! I’m not sure who introduced me to this author, but I’ve read nearly all of her books at this point, and I was floored to receive an ARC of this read! Thank you, Sara Ivy Hill! I am leaving an honest review.
My initial impression was that Lyro did not deserve Lena. There, I said it. I’m not sure he ever does in my eyes, but his character certainly develops and grew on me. Took me a bit longer to get into this one because of that, and because I felt sometimes frustrated by how much Lena let Lyro get away with. But, I can recognize how that suits their characters and their individual histories, how they come together anyway, because fate. I did find the book difficult to put down, and it has the author’s usual wonderful world building and saucy fun!
Lyro is not the easiest character to sympathize with, he’s rude, mean and violent. Lena on the other hand is trusting, open and kind. The two shouldn’t work and at first they don’t. Lyro makes it clear that he doesn’t want the bond and he does not want Lena. However, there are layers to Lyro and as the story progresses it’s shown that Lyro is more than he shows and deeper than one might think. The relationship develops through degrees, mainly because of Lena. This is a slow burn of a tale and as much as the tale revolves around Lyro and Lena there’s more going on as well. There is Harl and the hatching, Elvis the bug and a slew of other things that must be handled before the two can truly be together. This is the last part of the journey, worth the read.
I can't believe this book series ends with the best one of all. Although I had fondness for most of the male protagonists, none were exactly my type until Lyro showed up — intensely negative, passionately aggressive, and completely distrustful. His combination with the best female protagonist, not just in the series but in all the books of this genre I've read so far, is perfect.
The only downside is that I wanted more stories, more of this entire universe, all those little loose ends I wish were tied up. Nevertheless, I think I'll reread the entire series this weekend just to further connect with the stories.
Their love was harsh and painful but their love was home. I feel like this is often the outlook broken people have on love. If it doesn’t hurt then it isn’t love.
Like luto some may say that Lena was naive, stupid and rather spineless but I saw the strength she had to have in order to be her.
She was traumatised and had Stockholm-syndrome but even when she realises; she continues down the path because it is right.
The author does a great job at highlighting the shades of grey that is life.
I felt for Lyro and while his love was twisted it was unconditional. You’ll see.
Both their characters could have been given more space to tell their backstories but alas.
Saved the best for last! Leaving Lyro and Lena for the finale was a smart move. Throughout the series, the frustration towards the annoying youngest brother kept growing, but we got a sneak peek at his motives in book 5 and then even more explanation in book 6. Lyro's fight scene felt a little anticlimactic (reason for only 4 stars), but the story as a whole wrapped everything up nicely. I also enjoyed learning more about the Frathiks and why the women were originally abducted. There is a content warning, which rightfully states that this is not a healthy, real-world relationship. These kinds of relationships are good in books, but don't accept this treatment for yourself.
Honestly, I adored this book so much. I loved so much and his character was so funny and loveable. I could not get enough of him and his wit. I also love the contrast between him and Lena and how patient and understanding she was although at times she was quick naive. I still loved them and how they balanced each other out with their differences but also understood each other because of their similarities.
This was a great ending to this serious and although it wasn’t ground breaking it was immaculate and I enjoyed every single book. May have to go back and re-read some of the earlier books to refresh how much I enjoyed.
