Sweet Life in Seattle #6

Wild Kind of Wonderful

Is he the one who got away, or the one she’s glad got away?

Outlaw. A member of Seattle’s notorious Highway Hedonists. Not all ex-boyfriends are made the same.

They were once obsessively in love. So sure of each other. Seth was her first everything. But Summer split up with him right after high school. It broke her heart, but what choice did she have? His family were criminals, and being some biker’s old lady was hardly the life she wanted for herself.

She hasn’t heard from him in ten years. She never looked him up online. Too afraid of what she’d find.

But then Summer sees him one morning across a crowded coffee shop. It’s Seth. Except his leather cut and long ponytail are gone. Replaced with short hair and an expensive suit and tie.

How is this possible?

She always assumed he was dead or in prison.

It turns out she always assumed wrong.

Contains one hot ex-boyfriend who may or may not be part of a notorious biker club, a midwife who’s solid and responsible, yet has a penchant for bad boys. And two people who were once obsessed with each other and discover maybe they still are…

Andrea Simonne grew up as an army brat and discovered she had a talent for creating personas at each new school. The most memorable was a surfer chick named "Ace" who never touched a surf board in her life, but had an impressive collection of puka shell necklaces. Eventually she turned her imagination towards writing. Andrea still enjoys creating personas, though these days they occupy her books. She's an Amazon bestseller in romantic comedy and contemporary romance, and author of the series Sweet Life in Seattle and About Love. She currently makes her home in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two sons.

Summer

Book six is with summer, this felt like the last book, lots of new characters in this one with summers housemate and Seth's neighbour's. Plus the bikers gang. Autumn is here to felt like she should of had a book, but her story is slipped in, plus really do zander really love her when he is getting it on with someone else, next to her sleeping? Not sure if I want that story more about lust.
This one was good and summer is very sweet, poor Seth had a hard life he was born in a biker gang, (with his dad the lead) not is choice after his love of his life dumped him not long after his mum died, his aunt have him a way out. Summers mother goes on about leopards and spots, but he was never that to begin with he was raised by a leopard so he could grow, not change spots but grow to who he is.not a leopard. I did feel summers frustration good writing.

This is the next book in the Sweet Life in Settle series.
I enjoyed getting to know Seth, bad boy turned lawyer... and Summer, the one that got away.
10 years prior, Summer broke up with Seth. He was in a motorcycle gang and luck he hadn't gotten thrown into prison for crimes. She wanted him to leave town with her, but he didn't. Now he's back, and he's a lawyer. Seth had never forgotten Summer. He'll do whatever it takes to prove to her that he's changed and wants the chance to prove his love.
With trust broken and birth their families against them, Summer and Seth have to determine if their love is worth it.

A great sixth (and final?) book of this series

It’s been a long time coming, it seems ages since I read Year of Living Blonde but it was worth the wait and a very enjoyable storyline.
Summer was amazing, a wonderfully kind midwife and Seth is now a lawyer-not the bad boy biker he once was. It’s a classic second chance romance, with disgruntled family members thrown in, and a HEA.
I’d recommend this series.

Good/enjoyable read

Slight S.O.A vibes, without the criminal outlaw factor. It was an enjoyable read, but I had trouble connecting with the characters. Not enough angst for me personally. I’ve read other books in this series and loved them, this one just fell slightly short for me.

very cute love story

I loved this quick second chance romance! Summer is a badass delivering babies left and right and Seth kicks ass lawyering while they rekindle their love. Very good read!

Explicit. This was really sweet! It managed to say a lot and I really felt for the characters - it got a little chaotic, and the cast could perhaps have been shaved down a little, but I loved almost all of the side characters so I can understand that it would've been hard to give any up.

I've read many books by this author and have treasured each one. The characters are wonderfully interesting and their backstories are well developed. I appreciate how they have grown from when they loved each other as teenagers and have their second change. It was beautifully written.

This book really surprised me! I didn't think that I would like it as much as I did. I loved how they didn't end up breaking up again. The sub charaters were so funny! It was a great book!
