Kinky age-gap professor and student romance
Ms. May has done it again…another steamy romance of the Plutus Society billionaires. The Plutus boys started as four Harvard college graduates who decided to make a pact that they would be billionaires by the age of 30yo. Logan and Aston had a head start but they all succeeded. 4.5 stars! The Finale!
Billion Dollar Lesson is the fourth and final installment in The Billion Dollar Pact Series and can be read as a standalone.
Every single one of the Plutus boys is getting its own HEA, but Aston Jones, Faculty Professor at Harvard by day, a VIP patron at The Velvet Rooms in Boston by night.
This story has one of my favorite troupes that is Professor/student age gap relationship with a great dose of kink, yes Professor Jones is a Dom that has been connecting with the most precious little submissive flower by text messages and agreeing for a first encounter with a total stranger, or so he thought, until the very next day, when both find out that they are actually teacher and student of the same department and are working in close quarters.
I absolutely loved our protagonists. Aston is as delicate as he was in the Velvet Rooms, that is, as soon as the shock of knowing how forbidden their relationship is and its consequences withers, but the first impact was strong and pretty much permanent as is the craving, the want and the admiration.
Claire is young, inexperienced, but eager to learn, being in her studies or in her intimacy and she couldn't believe how affected she was with a man she knew nothing about, but one that was perfect in all the senses, attentive, patient and as thirsty to teach as she was to discover this new world of passion, decadence and desire.
Things weren't easy for our charcters, their position at Harvard and Aston determination to keep their relationship professional only caused some sadness and desperation and if it weren't for a family of furry babies and their mother, I don't know if they would give themselves a chance at all. The cats were a really great bond between them, be it with Aston alone in his house, in the shelter with Claire or in a cry for help when the distress extended to the extended 'family'.
And what I even loved the most was that Aston' worries were only for Claire's future and none for himself. He knew he could do without being a Professor at this prestigious College, but he was sure that same didn't apply to Claire.
So glad everything went as it should and they chose themselves above all!
In the end we have the Plutus boys all reunited at Chase and Madison's wedding, a great party for the boys and the women of their dreams....and a 🔥🥵last🔥🥵 stop for Aston and Claire at the Blue Velvet room!

Aston and Claire’s story is a wonderful conclusion to this series!
I was thrilled to be able to read about the Velvet Rooms again. I enjoyed that series so much! Aston is a tenure professor at Harvard and is in charge of a research project in math. He also belongs to a group of four college friends called Plutus, which they made a pact back then. Claire is in her second year at Harvard studying for her Master’s degree in math. They meet online in a chat room about unusual likes about sex (BDSM). They texted for weeks before they met at the Velvet Rooms, specifically, they went to the Black Velvet Room, which didn’t go too well. They have never changed any personal information either. Now they surprisingly meet when he has to fill in for a professor for the semester, and low and behold, Claire is in his class. She’s also his teacher’s assistant (TA). This is a surprise for them both that doesn’t bode very well. They try their very best to resist each other. Aston and Claire’s story is a resistant, but steamy one. Their journey is a forbidden one. It’s a story full of anticipation and emotions that will melt your heart.

Claire is a quiet and shy young woman with a scholarship to attend Harvard University, and she is also looking for someone to help her understand the needs she can't even explain to herself. Aston is a professor at Harvad, and the only one of the men who called themselves the Plutus Society who is still single. He has yet to find a woman with whom is wants a long-term relationship. The Clair and Aston have chatted via text messages for a while and have finally set up a meeting at The Velvet Rooms. Unfortunately, the night doesn't end like either of them had expected.
I thought Clair and Aston are perfect for each other, and I got a kick out of Aston's hangup about the difference in their ages. The fact that their relationship is taboo added even more spice to their story. This is a steamy billionaire romance with some BDSM and twists in the plot that kept me reading from the first page to the last. Wonderfully well written, compelling and realistic characters. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

We finally get to see of the fourth and final Plutus boy get his hea. Aston is the last man standing as his three friends have all found their women. No one was really expecting him to be last considering two were very adamant about staying single, but failed and fell in love with their other halves. Aston is a professor at Yale when he meets Claire, who unbeknownst to either of him is his student and TA. Each of these stories can be read as a standalone. I love these forbidden tropes and this was so good. There is drama, angst, blackmail, secrets, and some steam. I loved Aston and Claire’s relationship, even though at the beginning I wanted to shake Claire for her antics. For someone who was worried about possibly losing her scholarship, she didn’t seem to care with what she would do. She did get more mature as the book went on. I so loved Zeta, Pi, Alpha and Omega. This series has been such a great read that it is a bittersweet ending. I loved all four books and loved seeing all the Plutus men and their perfect women.

Utterly fantastic! I truly loved Aston & Claire’s story! He’s the last of the Plutus Boys to have his own story, and what a story it is. One of my favorite type stories is forbidden and student/teacher and this fits all my criteria! Aston is a Professor who has met Claire at the BDSM club he frequents. A definite instant attraction and he wants more. But guess who he sees in his classroom, but the same beauty. He is unsure of how to proceed, as he feels she could be the one perfect woman for him. And Claire, is such a breath of fresh air, innocent yet curious, and so perfect for him. I enjoyed their witty interactions and she definitely keeps him on his toes. The chemistry between Aston and Claire is unreal, so sizzling, so hot! I really love this series and didn’t want it to end, but being all four have now had their stories told, it really is the best story to end it with.

4.5 Stars! This is Aston & Claire's story. He is a tenured professor at Harvard. She is in the masters program, on scholarship, and works as a TA. They met online. She is looking for a Dom to fulfill her fantasies. He had high hopes for her to be one that could be it for him. When they met at the Velvet rooms, it didn't quite work out the way they thought, but then it all came crashing down when he walks into his new class and learned she is his new TA.
The attraction, though, is really strong, and when they give into temptation, it is electric. Will they be able to make it work? Good storyline that keeps you reading.

Billion Dollar Lesson by Linnea May is the story of Aston and Claire. They’ve been ‘meeting’ anonymously online. Now, they will finally meet…and whew!!! What a meeting with plenty of shocks!! She’s in a Master’s Program for Mathematics and is starting her new Teacher’s Assistant position. But, by a strange twist of fate, Aston is now who she will TA for.
This story was indulgent, decadent, taboo, and filled with angst!!! I adored Aston…his sense of propriety and decorum are admirable. I thought Claire was a bit of a tease…sometimes not in a good way. But, the story was indulgent and definitely kept my interest….couldn’t stop reading!!! Absolutely wonderful read!!!

This is the final book in the series and it doesn't disappoint.
Aston and Claire have been chatting online and when they meet up at the Velvet Rooms their chemistry is off the charts. But the night doesn't end like they thought it would and things change even more when it turns out she is one of his students and his TA.
He could lose his job and she would lose her scholarship if anything happened between them but can they stay away from each other.
A must read with a few ups and downs but also so much emotion and plenty of drama but can they get their HEA.

I absolutely loved this.
This was Age Gap, Off Limits, Dom/Sub And Close Proximity Tropes..
I really enjoyed this, Aston and Claire were perfect for each other and when they finally met at the club their chemistry was instantly heated. But things didn't go as planned that night. Then things got worse, Claire is his new Student and Teaching Assistant. She is definitely off Limits as he could lose his job and she could lose her scholarship at Harvard.
But how do they ignore the sizzling connection they have and all those teases?
Read and follow them through their journey. I haven't read other books in series but would love to check them out. The spice was perfect.

Billion Dollar Lesson is the fourth and final book in The Billion Dollar Pact series which is an age gap student/teacher dark romance between Aston, a tenured Harvard Professor who is also a kinky Dom, and Claire, a 22 year old who visits The Velvet Room to meet a man she has been texting. This is a very interesting read.When Aston met Claire his little flower as he likes to call her he knew that it would be impossible to resist her as a professor he didn’t expect to find her in his Maths class.The chemistry is sizzling between them ,but Aston is unsure how to proceed with this relationship.Its would take a few feline friends and threads from from his sister for him to realize that Claire is that for him.Would it be H.E.A.for this couple .you got to read to find out.My review is voluntary for I received an arc copy of this book.

This is the last book in the series, and it was mad perfect. This fires on all cylinders right from the first. You get instant attraction and then we find out this billionaire has a soft heart of gold for animals and people. He's the complete package, but his position doesn't permit a liason with the woman of his choice. Can they work around the obstacles keeping them apart, or were they doomed from the first physical meeting??? The ending was sublime. I liked catching up with the others in this series. A bittersweet goodbye until I reread the series.

Ms May is a masterful author of women's erotic fiction. We get all the bedroom scenes along with a lovely romance. Claire is a college graduate student who is still a virgin and anxious to fulfill her desires for a dominant man to rid herself of that burden. Which Aston would be happy to do. But when the school term begins they are aghast to learn that he is her professor. That makes their relationship totally off limits. But the attraction is still there and not to be denied. Very well written M/s characters. Loved this book!

This was a hot and forbidden storyline. They meet before they find out how they will intertwine in the future. Aston is in a position of power and Claire is not. Will they, or won’t they? That kept me reading on, page after page. You want them to figure things out so they don’t have to be restricted. They were perfectly matched and I could feel this when I was reading this story. Had me by the seat of my pants for this read. Well done Ms. May.

Aston and Claire's story starts of unexpectedly and goes from there. The forbidden student teacher can't get caught element was hot as they both had so much to lose if they were. The cats were a bit strange to me and the BDSM was very minimal in my opinion. I enjoyed their story, just not quite as much as some of the others. I came for the taboo spice and dom -sub dynamic and stayed for the big emotions. ♥️
I loved this book so(!!!) much, but I didn’t expect how emotional I would get about Aston and Claire. They were so perfect for each other and when they had to break things off because of the circumstances they found themselves in, it pretty much broke my heart 🥺 Luckily they were brought back together by kitty Pi and her kittens.

This is a cute professor student story and the last of the billion dollar pact series. I shall sad to see them go. Cats play an important role in this story and add some lightness to otherwise sad scenes. The relationship between Aston and Claire sizzles and even the mean sister can’t break them. A little different to the others in the series but a nice conclusion.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. I liked the story in general, the professor-student romance had that taboo spiciness but the age-gap didn't seem all that obvious and I wasn't sure about the BDSM element, as it felt unnecessary to the story plot. That said, it was an easy to read romance with minimal angst and a lot of steam.

Aston and Claire’s story was the perfect combination of naughty and hot to have me obsessed and gobbling it up as quickly as I could. An enticing splash of kink pairs beautifully with a sharp edge of forbidden to create a tempting tale that I found too irresistible to resist and honestly, I never tried all that hard.

Sizzling chemistry between fascinating characters made this book a captivating read as their story played out. The scenes were well written and filled with an intensity that had me unable to put this book down. I loved the anticipation of what would happen next. Great story.
