少時家庭貧窮與黑暗的陰影，讓他長期畏縮於沒有自信的角落裡，即使他從讀大學開始就在攝影上才華洋溢，但是在巨大的財務和心理壓力之下，有段時間只能持續耽溺於黑暗的創作風格，不知道自己應該被放在這個世界的什麼地方。

客觀而言，若單就書籍本身，我未必會給予五星評價；但因為它與我的生命經驗產生了極強的共鳴，在主觀感受上，這絕對是一部五星作品。閱讀時，我幾乎在每一章都畫了重點，甚至好幾次讀到落淚。這是我第一次遇到與自己連結感如此深切的書。
作者的生命歷程與自我覺察能力令人震撼。走過地獄的人，通常只有兩種選擇：要嘛拉著旁人一同墜落，要嘛盡力守護他人、不讓旁人重蹈覆轍，而作者顯然屬於後者。他誠實地剖開自我，展示他如何從深淵中崛起並傳遞愛。
我由衷欽佩這位藝術家靈魂的韌性，他無疑是一個偉大的人。
Objectively speaking, I might not give this book five stars based on the writing alone, but the way it resonates with my own life experiences makes it a subjective five star read for me. I found myself highlighting in almost every chapter, and it moved me to tears multiple times. I have never felt such a deep, personal connection to a book before.
The author’s journey and their level of self awareness are at an extraordinary level. When people walk through hell, they often go one of two ways: they either try to drag everyone else down with them, or they dedicate themselves to protecting others from the same fate. This author is firmly the latter. By honestly baring their soul, they show you exactly how they rose from the abyss to spread love. I have such deep admiration for the strength of this artist’s spirit soul. He is truly a great human being.
