Sophia and Max "Iceman" had a one night stand. Max is a retired hockey player. Now he is a hockey coach. Sophia is 10 years younger than Max, and she is head of the Venge hype team. She knew Max wasn't a guy she only wanted a one night stand with so she tries everything to make him jealous even when she has her guard up. While she is flirtin with all the hockey players. Max is Sophia's best friend of 6 months, Jules, big brother. This is a very cute Novella and I can't wait to read the rest in this lil Power Play series. I can't wait to read bout Oliver in Novella 7.

Ariana St Claire is one of my favorite non dark romance authors. Her books are usually short, sweet, spicy and so so good and this one was no different. She always a good romance. The chemistry and the push pull between Max and Sophia is everything. Definitely another one I recommend from Ariana.

What can I say about Ariana that I haven’t already said. This book is 🔥🔥!! I am usually pretty good about keeping a chill face while reading at the gym but “mine” totally ruined that (ifykyk)! Max and Sophia are full of banter and spice! I love her worlds! If you have never read her books this is your sign!! Ariana St. Claire is a must read!

Puck Me Harder is a contemporary, grumpy/sunshine, best friend's brother, age-gap, hockey romance featuring Max Vaughn and Sophia LeCavalier.
Sophia grew up with three hockey playing brothers so she came by her crush on Max quite naturally. When the two found themselves in the same bar one night, and there was a mutual attraction, they agreed to one night together, no names. Sophia knew who he was, of course, but was not interested in a relationship, and certainly not with a hockey player. She knew from experience that they were bad news.
When she accepted a job with Seattle Revenge's Hype Team, she has to see Max regularly. Not only is he the head coach, but he also happens to be her best friend's older brother. Sophia however rocked his world, and he wants more. He loves her sass and her spirit, and is keen to make her his.
This spicy book is a fun and easy read. Max is very possessive without being controlling. I love that. "Watching" Sophia play, tease and taunt his was entertaining. The characters are very likable, and there were some humorous scenes. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Max takes the Broody, Domineering Male type to another level when it comes to Sophia.
Sophia has sworn off Men and especially Hockey Players after a not so pleasant relationship with another Player on a different team.
Max took the Coaching job with the Revenge Team after hanging up his Skates and is out to prove to everyone that he will earn the name Coach when it comes to running the team and getting them as far as they can in the Championship.
Sophia is Best friends with Max's sister Jules and doesn't want Jules to know how big the Crush is that she has on her Older brother never mind that the Chemistry they have between the two of them is off the charts! He does things to her that no one else ever has and if Max has his way, no one else ever will again.
When Max goes in, he goes all in and won't let anyone stand in his way as you will discover when you read through the book.
A really Hot read that will have you fanning yourself and needing to cool down!

Ariana has started this book super hot 🥵 and I was all over it.
Loved this Ice Hockey Romance.
Sophia is starting new life after her betrayal by her brothers best friend and hockey player.
Max has always been her hockey crush and way too old for her. When she thought she could get past old hurt and have a one night stand with Max and save her heart, she was wrong. It was no name and just fun.
Max couldn't believe the hot young woman that was in his arm, even though she is too young for him. He was going to enjoy the night. Only problem he wants more and she was no where to be found the next morning.
Soon he finds out who she is and turns out she is BFF with his younger sister. They have a lot of back and forth as she is resisting and he is being relentless in winning her. Loved his grumpy and possessive attitude. The way he made sure she knew he was his 🥵.
Read and enjoy all the humour, witty banter, emotions and hot encounters. Can't wait for Oliver's story.

Puck Me Harder by Ariana St. Claire is a quick, steamy, easy to read hockey romance that starts with a spicy scene at the get go. I pretty much inhaled this book in just a few hours.
I love the challenging banter between Sophia and Max. I love Sophia's taunts and antics to get under Max's skin. I love Max's dirty talk and growls. His manipulations to oust any other men's attempts at winning Sophia's heart. He's possessiveness is off the charts and I love every minute of it. The black Sharpie pen is genius!!! I'm tempted to give my hubby one for him to use. "Mine!"
Daisy the cat and her torturous dislike for Max and vice versa... Only for Max to fall in love with Stormy... swoon...Max's revenge on her ex-boyfriend... the team's comradery and solidarity... Max's list... oh my goodness! It's all just so perfect.

One of the promo pieces that always caught my eye was the "never look at sharpies the same way". And well...my mind is a little dirty, so I was dang curious. Now, it's a little cleaner but so much more fun and sexy. Now...I want someone to claim me this way.
On top of it all, Sophia got to AHEM , a lot with her favorite star player who is now a steamy coach. Did I mention how dang hot I found that? Because not only do you have that with Grumpy Pants, but he's also older, and all growly and it's just so sexy! And when the past is overcome to find that...so much better.
It's an absolute great novella that takes some past hurt and mixes it with a new love...one that was wished but not foreseen and just makes one go "ohhh".

Short, spicy, banter, emotions - all the feels. Max and Sophia's story was so good! One thing to note about Ariana's books - she will have scenes that live rent free in your head for ages to come. I will never be able to look at a sharpie - without thinking of this book (IYKYK). She is definitely a once click author for me. This story had all my favorite tropes - age gap, best friend's brother, workplace...I loved how Max knew what he wanted and went for it - no holds bar and was willing to wait for her to come around. Sophia had her reasons for trying to resist but when she finally came to - perfection. Mine - Everything - Max is total Alpha!! Also - hats off for the kitties.

Sophia works for a hockey team, she knows all the in’s and outs of the game, and the players. She’s done it and she’s not gonna do it again.
In comes Max the team’s coach and her best friend’s brother.
They have way to much chemistry and way too much fight between them and that obviously brings in the heat in every interaction.
One encounter brings all these feelings Sophia had bottled up and she has difficulty dealing with. It’s up to Max to make a play, break her and his walls down to get his girl.
All the action in this book is fully entertaining, plus you get a little reminder of other characters which is always fun.
In comes Max the team’s coach and her best friend’s brother.

Overall this Novella was nice. Max was steaming. And Sophia was a tough female lead. There was some errors that should have been caught by a editor before being released.
Chapter 5 starts off in Sophia POV but changes to Max without warning.
Chapter 12….is it Liam Shaw or Levi Shaw?? “Liam Shaw and my big brother went to college together,.....” “Levi was the first of my brother's friends that didn't treat me like either I wasn't there or like I was a sixteen year old nuisance…..”
In the Epilogue is says “The arena wet silent….” Should be “went”.

Sophia comes from a family of hockey stars. Her favorite fantasy player is Max Vaughn. She gets a chance to hook up with Max and decides to take the opportunity. Just this once for more reasons than not. The chemistry is off the charts. Did I mention he’s also older, yup hot age gap.

Puck Me Harder, book 3 of the Power Play Off The Ice series, (part of Seattle Rvenge) by Ariana St Claire @authorarianastclaire. First off, I am a fan of Ariana’s & this book was no different!

OMG OMG OMG THIS BOOK!!! First off any book that references Top Gun is a FAVE in my eyes!! And Max and Sophia are HOT HOT HOTTTTTT!!! Man do I love a possessive MMC and Max definitely delivers!! I love the Sharpie kink and love how they use that to express some major feelings between the two of them. Will definitely be reading more of this set!!

Ariana St. Claire has done it again. What a fantastic read. I enjoy a great hockey romance story. This story had enough of everything for this reader. I loved the characters of Max and Sophia. This story definitely keeps the readers interest. I enjoyed the banter between these two and the chemistry. I just really enjoyed this story.

This book was amazing. Max and Sophia are fire together. These two are quite the pair with tons of chemistry plus lots of spice between them. This is a page turner that'll have you turning pages from start to finish.

The banter between Max & Sophia was such fun to read but the possessiveness got me everytime! Max’s possessiveness of Sophia was swoon worthy & made me love the characters even more.
