LISP Anthology 2023: Rising Stars & Promising Pens
London Independent Story Prize (LISP) is a not-for-profit organisation founded by storytellers for storytellers. LISP aims to nurture brave voices and create sustainable networking opportunities for writers and filmmakers. Our purpose is to build a community that embraces multicultural differences, bold voices, unique writers, and extraordinary artistic approaches to storytelling.
The stories compiled in this anthology were selected from the LISP 2023 competition. Aligning with LISP’s core strategies, these stories are not proofread, edited or polished by professional editors and proofreaders. We acknowledge that language skills, such as grammar and spelling, are linked to access to education. Therefore, LISP does not seek excellence in those elements but values the distinct voice of the writer, the originality of the stories and braveness in the storytelling techniques the most.
