More Than One Way: Part Two

Rate this book
Ethan West survived a feral Alpha attack, escaped his fathers’ control, and found the pack of his dreams. Navigating this new life and finding his place both with the pack and in the world was something Ethan had hoped he would have more time to do but fate had other plans.

Pack Owens hadn’t been looking for an Omega but even their most reluctant Alpha was losing the battle against falling for Ethan. They have to face their own demons before they can fight the ones coming for their pack.

Ethan and the pack began to weave their lives together when an unseen threat wrenched it all apart by abducting one of their own. The shattered pack must come together to rescue the missing piece of their hearts, end the threat once and for all, and find the way to their happily ever after.

What a wonderful wrap up for this duet. I was so hoping for more Miles and Trevor and Sienna did not disappoint.

I loved the way that Trevor was willing to work on himself and I just love the quiet devotion of Miles. Theo was absolutely delicious, I love Jade's dominant side, and Shae is such a delight. Ethan is such a solid omega and I love the way his relationships grew and developed and they way each pack member gets something different from each other.

I would absolutely recommend checking out this duet. It's full of twists, beautiful friendships, and yummy spice 🥵🥵🥵.

Uh....
This had the potential to be the best and most amazing omegaverse book I've ever read.
But alas... the lost opportunities.
I am DESPERATE to read an RH omegaverses book with a male omega at the center. That is cared for and loved by everyone in the pack and not tossed aside.
This duet was the closest thing I got to what I imagined. But boy I was RUBBED.
I needed more from Miles and Ethan. At least a complete fucking. Or maybe a nicer bonding scenery. From Trevor too.
It wasn't fair that in the span of two books we didn't get these.
And I needed the epilogue to be a very nice and relaxed (maybe spicy) scene of the pack together.
It had no fucking business being about another omega and the pack stressing over her.

But over-all it was a lovely read.

🌶️🌶️🌶️

Part one was one of my favorite reads of 2023 and the book that got me into omegaverse, so you can imagine my excitement for part two.

Without giving away any spoilers, this book picks right where book one left off on a very crucial cliffhanger. Where Part One did contribute to the overarching mystery, it focused more on Ethan and the relationships he builds with Pack Owens, and the relationships within the pack itself. Part Two focuses more on the mystery of the disappearing Betas and catching the antagonists.

Part one was spicier than part two imo, but there are still scenes in two that will make you 🥵. There was line that went:
“People who had never lived as part of a pack or misunderstood Omegas often thought that nests were basically just about sex, but they were so much more.”

I can't help but wonder if Holt wrote this to say that omegaverses are so much more than just smut and people should just try it out. Just me who interpreted it that way? Okay fine 😂.

All in all, this is another OV duology I really enjoyed and I can't wait for Cat’s story, or better yet, the expansion of the Owens-verse.

Yay for Queer and Poly representation

I love that the MC and a whole host of characters were PoCs. It's rare to see in Omegaverse, especially thoughtfully written. The demi and trans rep was lovely, as well as safe and consensual D/s play. Also, there was a good mystery, thriller plot. The steam was nice, but didn't linger too much and was satisfying enough. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing another book about this pack, though focused on them healing, the new pack dynamics, and uh... More steam. 🤭🤌🏾

Fantastic read on unlimited, but I will be buying both books next month.

Potential Spoilers

I'm particularly interested in Nate's follow up. It feels like there'd be some good complex angst. Cat and Bodhi have lovely chemistry and history. For Aubrey, I sincerely hope it's years later. Age gaps when the younger person is barely 18 or 18 is well. Not my jam. But it would be interesting for her to make a match with someone as new to a relationship as she would be.

I'm really excited for diverse representation and non traditional packs! Love these two and hope to see more in the series.

More Than One Way Part 2 is the follow-up book in the Drake House Packs series. Very rarely do I pick up a second book in a series and like it more than the first, but Sienna Holt pulled it off!! I INHALED this book and had I not started it so late at night, I would have finished it in one sitting.

Following the abduction of one of the characters in the first book, a criminal cliff hanger, might i add, we open up with the pack in the thick of hunting down the people responsible. I love that we didn’t spend multitudes of chapters waiting to find out what happened, but there was no holding back on the vengeance the Drake House pack was going to wreck on anyone that messed with them.

This book has less “spice” than the first book, but I think that works very well. This book focuses on healing after the aftermath of the abduction and the pack member’s past trauma. I was very happy to see we got more POV’s from Miles and Trevor and their interactions with Ethan. There were many times where I found myself tearing up. We also get some further information on Ethan’s family and this was such a welcome addition to the story!!

The queer and poly representation in this book is so, so good. We have Pan, Demi, and ENBY rep, the Omega is a man, and the head of the pack is probably the hottest woman to exist (Jade please step on me). Having a Demi person in a pack is a wild concept, but Holt executes it so well. And everyone in the pack is so respectful of each other’s boundaries!!!! UGH I love them so much!

I think a lot of people are apprehensive to start an Omegaverse book, what with the red pilling that happens in our society, but you really are missing out on learning about an incredible and diverse group of people. I beg you to give it a chance and to fall in love with every incredible human in this story (and despise the ones that deserve it).

Great for people that like Grumpy x Sunshine, Hurt Comfort, Why Choose, He Falls First, Who Touched You, and a good ol’ bodyguard romance 👀👀

I loved this duet.

I loved every single character in this, their own personal development and their relationship developments.

I do wish we had gotten more of Miles and Ethan together, and that there was an outcome to Ethan's fathers. They kind of just got forgotten. I thought for sure when the epiologue was recounting the fallout from reporters etc of the designation transitions, that they may have mentioned the scandal of the senators but no.

That's probably the only thing I could pick at this and really it's nothing. It probably says more about me being a lil petty than anything else haha

I am really interested in Cat, Aubrey and Nate's stories and I'll be looking out for them.

More Than One Way necesita llegar a más personas.

I was so excited that book 2 was coming out. This is a fast paced read and there are so many plot twists and spicy scenes. This is a story of how they are fighting their demons and how they work through them with so help from their new omega. Ethan is the perfect person for this pack because he has a calming effect on the Alphas.

This duet is everything. Part 2 covered so much ground in the story but didn’t feel too rushed or too long. I’d love to read more from this author.

This is one of those books that I’ll forever be chasing the feeling of because the vibes are so good. I think if you like Lola & the Millionaires, Pack St. Clair trilogy, or Nicky & the Night Owls you’ll enjoy this duet too.

Such a lovely read

This was everything I’d hope from an OV and more. We have found family, navigating past hurt, every relationship coming to bloom and, what moved me most of all, the closeness of family and friends as well. Like when Nate revealed the truth… crying. Anyway I definitely recommend

I got bored - the characters inner monologue got repetitive and I wanted more groveling from Trevor. Not all the pack members got equal page time and it was evident in how their relationships progressed.

great story

Loved the first two books which are a complete duet. I barely but my kindle down as I found the story totally engaging. I hope that Cats story comes soon.

great conclusion

Epic ending to a great duet. The way Trevor worked on his demons and became the Alpha I knew he would be was beautiful to read.

DNF at 45%. I asked for more plot after book 1. The plot came, but it somehow made the story worse. Bring back the character-driven vibes 😅
