I've returned to this book several times since I first read it. Every time, I appreciate something new, from both an academic and a personal perspective. There is a wealth of knowledge and many powerful stories women have bravely shared which have helped me a lot as a queer woman with very few models in my life for positive, long-term lesbian relationships.

I would love to see this study duplicated to compare these kinds of relationships across decades. I'd also be interested to know if these findings are consistent within Asexual, polyamorous and Transgender lesbian couples.
