This led to scars he could never get rid of and residual trauma he barely acknowledged. Opting for a career over romance, he navigates judgment, deflects advances, and guards his freedom fiercely.

Yet, a twist unfolds as Elias's artificially suppressed omega nature surfaces, exposing vulnerability. Three alpha males compete for his attention, thrusting him into an unexpected dilemma.

This was such a cute story. To see Elias overcome his trauma and find love was so good. And Ian loving him through it all was so sweet.

Elias Velcore, omega (29), CFO at Deaton Medical
Dane Umber, alpha, general administrator at Deaton Hospital
Ian, alpha (29?), head of emergency medicine (trauma doctor) at Deaton Hospital, Elias' childhood best friend
Levi Weston, alpha (late twenties), senior technical advisor (inheriting son) at Weston Construction

I read the synopsis for this months ago and was so intrigued I immediately signed up for an ARC. It sounded so deliciously good and with an interesting twist on the typical alpha/omega dynamic in that the omega, Elias, was afflicted with hyperactive pheromone syndrome. After several horrific relationships, his last nearly killing him, he swears off all Alphas, convinced he'll never find someone who won't turn into an absolute monster when he's in heat and at his most vulnerable.

Six years later he meets Dane and Levi and they change everything. I was banking on some swoon-worthy wooing, incendiary chemistry and sweet hurt/comfort, alas, you know what they say about assumptions...

This was written in third person, single POV from Elias's perspective so I was expecting some gut-wrenching arc but it just didn't happen. I didn't understand the draw between Elias and Dane or Levi; that Ian's been his best friend forever allows me to understand the feelings that exist between the two of them but no adequate reason is given for why they haven't tried being in a relationship prior. Without other POVs the other characters have to be a lot more loquacious than they are here in order for the reader to understand who they are as characters, their motivations, and ultimately root for them. This felt surface level at best, and based on animal instinct (pheromones) at worst.

While the sex scenes were pretty satisfying and spicy the relationship building and storytelling fell far short. The narrative felt disjointed with half-told or only partially told plot threads. It needs editing badly to catch some typos, grammar, etc. but also contradictions in what certain characters are told or know as well as just some kind of plot cohesion. This definitely has promise, but in its current state isn't really worth the page count unless you're just interested in the erotic scenes.

I was given an ARC and voluntarily wrote an honest review.

Guysss!!! OMG!!
This is my first omegaverse book and I’m not gonna lie I was in the middle of reading like 4 books but I saw a video from the author on tik tok and I couldn’t resist!😭
Which is funny bc I didn’t even know this was an omegaverse when I started.. I just saw poly romance + rich dudes and I was SOLD
But when I first started reading, I was fucking confused tho.. beta ranges? Alpha ranges, omega state? Omega scent? Alpha scent hyperactive pheromone syndrome? Knot vs sperm vs cum? Mpreg😱
See I cannot even begin to act like I’m not still fucking confused on some shit even though I did pause to do some research🤣
This book had me in a CHOKEHOLD tho… I was hooked from the beginning! Captivating asf story + smut + the pure serotonin this book gave me!!😭
I was smiling up a storm and I couldn’t predict where the plot was going for shit so that was fun too
It’s safe to say this author is now the reason i would be adding omegaverse books to my tbr.
And honestly if I understood the concept better, this could’ve been an easy 5 stars.. 4.65 at best.

Unfortunately I really didn’t like Knot fit for love, for me I found it extremely hard to get into and it was mostly just erotica with a little bit of a storyline.

I found the characters quite annoying as well as very boring to be honestly my favourite part was the epilogue that’s it which is why I’ve given it 1 star.

I enjoyed this book but I didn’t like how long it took Elias to go from I don’t deserve to be happy and have love to being settled and in a happy relationship the turn around was almost instant.

He spent like 90% of the book fighting the alphas and himself to meeting someone in a similar relationship and that was like a magic switch that made him accept that the alphas and himself will workout after all.

Be sure to give it a go and add it to your TBR because just because I wasn’t thrilled with it doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy it.

It was hard for me to get into this book and there were a lot of inconsistencies. Elias is understandably traumatized by his past experiences with alphas but then after 6 years he just immediately agrees to sleep with Dane in a car? Then after that he sleeps with Ian, his best friend and the one man who has stood by him without succumbing to his pheromones, but is too scared to even try something with him.

His chronic illness is brought up only once, outside of talking about suppressant side effects. Dane's pheromone syndrome is also only brought up once. You would think he would have a lot of insight on what Elias has gone through and have advice of his own but it's never mentioned again.

I also feel that Elias let's his pheromone issue get in the way of literary everything. He has sex with Ian, Dane and Levi individually with no issue at all, so why freak out about having sex as a group? I can kind of understand being scared of heat sex because that's when the issues with his past alphas came up, but he had sex with Ian during his heat with no problems.

I liked the concept of the story as a result whole and there were some good parts and sex scenes but it was a miss for me unfortunately.

Okay, Knot Fit for Love is a cute story. This is one of my few forays into the 'omega-verse'. It was genuinely a promising start to the story because the main character was cute, but not weak nor a damsel-in-distress as most female main characters and a few male main characters are often depicted. I liked that the main character was also dealing with biological issues, granted it was fantasy issues with a 'male heat'. In the case of our main character, he believes the pheromones he emits cause Alpha aggression, resulting in our Omega experiencing abuse at the hands of said Alpha during a heat (a period where an Omega is driven by the desire to mate and breed).

Our main character has risen above society's expectations, a society that sees Omegas as our real-life society sees females and colour. Omega's are not expected to reach very high in the employment scale, believed to be too controlled by their hormones and emotions to reach a high standard (sound familiar?) However, our Omega has done just that and is a shining example of how one's sexuality and gender has nothing to do with our intellect and capabilities.

The three Alphas who will end up with our main character are a unique batch, a doctor/nurse who is a giant teddy bear, a rich heir/businessman who is most definitely the stern one and a CEO/businessman who is perhaps the brains of the operation once they all come together! From the get-go, neither man is threatened by the others, in fact, they pretty much come to the consensus early on that they will share the Omega if the Omega permits it. Something our main character does not protest, and any real protest comes from self-judgement and pity rather than any real and valid concerns about the conduct of the three men.

It is a short very sweet story, but honestly, as much as I wanted to love it, it didn't hold my attention, especially at the end with the MPREG. MPREG isn't necessarily a big no-no for me, but it is not something I really enjoy in my MM books. But overall, a sweet read with some interesting (perhaps unintentional) commentary about our own society and our ignorant belief that women are incapable because of our hormones or some such nonsense. Perhaps I will go back and read it again and give it the time it deserves, as by the end I was not giving it my full attention. It is for that reason alone I am giving it a three stars. It just wasn't keeping me hooked, I felt like the problems in the story were resolved too quickly and perhaps because the story was so short and sweet, I felt like there wasn't any real challenge or problem for our main characters to overcome. A good book, but I think I wanted more, still I will give it another chance in the future and maybe change my rating.

If a body can talk, then Elias' body could have told the sad story of 1 boy who built an empire of dreams on the expectation that 1 day he would present as an alpha and nothing could stay on his way. But the reality turned far more complicated than what Elias expected. His life changed when he presented as an Omega and not only that but also as a carrier of ultra rare condition - one that is a danger to him during heats. The focus of this lightly dark omegaverse story is the taste and the bitter price of survival. For years Elias was in merciless war with his own biology - a brilliant mind trapped by the needs of unwanted Omega heats and unwelcome body reactions. And the scars littering his skin, silent witness on all of his failed relationships and attempts to find a reliable alpha - one that will cherish and respect him as a person, not as representation of the traits of his secondary gender. The myriad of emotions, plaguing Elias' mind, all the fears, doubts and painful memories were so skillfully described on page, it was a frightening and quite realistic reading experience.
Building up the complicated past of such a troubled character, living in constant war with the 2 parts of himself, didn’t leave a lot of story time for development of the bonds with the 3 alphas Elias chose for himself and even less for the bonds that should form and strengthen between the alphas themselves. It felt like they were roommates tolerating each other's presence in order to please and comfort their omega. I would have loved to see more of their inner dynamics, to really feel some emotional connections between them that aren't only based on the fact that they were mated to one and the same partner.
The other thing that took me by surprise was Elias' first choice after such a long time of healing.
With all his deeply rooted trust issues and 6y of staying away from alphas, he picked up a complete stranger as a partner while the only stable rock in the turbulent sea of his life was just a touch way and they had incredible chemistry and compatibility together.
Overall, I enjoyed the book - the first part more than the second.

Meh. I loved Malevolent Heir by Avery Scarlett, but this one was a big miss for me. It felt really disjointed to me and so much detail was placed on the description of the location and scenes but I felt the character development and communication wasn't given the same amount of thought.
When Elias meets Levi, they say a handful of sentences to one another and go out for coffee. Elias is thinking he's about to be proposed to and the Levi asks him to be his submissive. Then there' half a scene where Levi is kind of in a dominant role. It just didn't read fully fleshed out. Same with the rest of the relationships.
I had been waiting for this book to come out for so long, but it felt like a rough draft for me. I loved the idea behind this book and the plot. I thought it was really unique and love the a/b/o universe the author writes her stories in but I felt like there could have been SO much more. More scenes, more communication, more character development, more details and exploration about the pharmaceuticals, Elias condition and Elias prior history. The first chapter really hooked me and then for it to not have been given a larger portion in the book was almost frustrating, especially when it was referenced multiple times later as a significant event and never elaborated on. None of the consequences or story was ever brought up or explained from that significant event either.

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ - 3.5 Omega-verse / MM / Poly Romance
🌶️🌶️🌶️ - 3

**ARC Review**

Elias our Omega MC is trying desperately to manage his unique condition, while struggling to heal from past trauma.

He’s sworn off ALL Alphas in order to protect himself and any potential mate around him. It’s not until his roommate and best friend, Ian along with the help of two other dominant Alphas: Levi and Dane convince Elias to give their unconventional requests a chance does he realize that maybe there’s more to life than hiding behind fear.

I truly believe that if the reader has never read an omega-verse books before they are going to be LOST 🙃 There really isn’t any background or explanation for the world that you’re dropped into, and I think that may be frustrating for a newbie.

I also would have liked more dialogue and individual time with each Alpha…their relationships just felt very…vague? It seemed like the majority or the first half was Elias being incredibly stubborn and harsh on himself, therefore causing the ending to feel a little rushed.

With all that said, I did still enjoy each character…I just wanted to know them more on a deeper level! The spicy scenes were 🤌🏼💋 very nice!

Elias is an omega with a serious condition - his powerful pheromones turn even placid affectionate alphas feral, poisoning them over time. After a harrowing near-death experience, he's pretty much withdrawn from everyone apart from his best friend and roommate Ian, and his boss and mentor, August. With a deep-dive into the trauma of medical conditions that make a person feel they have no autonomy, some extreme physical trauma from the dark side of relationships gone wrong and a lifetime of baggage, this book is quite a twist on the classic 0megaverse, whilst still being true to the genre in that it is HOT AS H!CK. I'd describe it as emotionally charged poly MM er*tica rather than an MM romance, though it does contain one adorable cinnamon roll alpha. NB. As the 0megaverse genre has a LOT of variation for reader's ref this world contains M/M, M/F and F/F pairings, both male and female pregnancies and yes - unlike many worlds women (as well as betas) do exist in this one!

I think that the premise of this book was really good and the most of the book was well paced. The only thing that brought the rating down was the feeling that the ending was rushed and the lack of Ian in it. (Ian is my favorite, and I feel like he should have had more chemistry than the book gave him and Elias)

Fav Quotes :

“They didn't love me. Ownership is not the same thing, and I think you know that now."

“While his trauma swayed him, love blinded them. The truth probably lied somewhere in the middle. It'd take work to meet halfway.”

"People do whatever they can to find solace in their situation. That doesn't make it right or healthy, but it's a part of the journey. You do what you have to to survive. It's as simple as that."

“His lips formed a smile, savoring the pure and uncomplicated fun.Something he'd never had before and looked forward to having again and again. Forever.”

“Because what's life without a little smut?”

I struggled to finish this. Omegaverse is still kind of new for me, but I usually do enjoy those that I read. My bigger problem was this is MMMM and I'm not sure how I missed that. I pushed through but I just don't enjoy it.

Elias started out as a strong character who seemed to get more whiny and indecisive as the book progressed. Ian was the only character that I was slightly interested in and not enough to keep me invested. That was the biggest problem with this book. I didn't care about any of the characters enough to want to know what happened.

If you like Poly relationships and Omegaverse, give this a read. The spice scenes were hot. It was well written .

This is an ARC review. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

*ARC Review* Omegaverse, MMMM and spicy scenes! Got a little lost in the beginning with Elias, his trauma and health issues and his relationships with the alphas. Would have loved the explanation of his condition earlier in the story. The relationship between Elias and Ian is a loving and caring everlasting story, hot and steamy between Elias and Dane, Elias and Levi definitely more on the kinky side of things. It was a relatively short journey from meeting to spicy. Took Elias a bit to come to terms with his issues and to give HEA a chance. Some questions were raised and not answered but didn’t detract too much from the story telling. So give it a go for a story about an Independent and strong Omega who has been entrenched in major issues with trust and base instinct who finally allows himself to be taken care of and be true to his omega self.

It seems like I am in the minority of reviewers on this book, I wish it would have been 500 pages. I enjoy sexy books and I also enjoy something outside of the norm. This book fits with the omegverse and thought the potency of his pheromones was a unique take. I was invested in Eli and would have loved to see more of each of his relationships with the 3 alphas growing! He had a support system behind him and loved Ian. Hoping maybe this is the beginning of a series that will have these same MCs! I loved reading him loose the battle with his desire and just going for what he wanted. Hope you will enjoy!

I really enjoyed this book. There were moments that were just heart wrenching and some that were really joyful.

Elias is a very complex character with a sad story and I really like seeing the journey he took of self discovery, self love and self healing. It was an intense and rocky road where he learned to trust himself and other alphas around him. And the ending certainly made the emotional journey worthwhile! 🤌

There was lots of spice, and some fab scenes. Jeez they were hot… 🥵 definitely one to read on your own! And there was a good balance between spice and plot and this book did that really well. This book will definitely fall into my ‘read again’ collection!

What a great omegaverse story!

It has an amazing storyline. An omega with a traumatic past, caused by something beyond his control, a unique condition that calls all alphas to him, especially the bad.
He spent many years swearing off any and all alphas in order to protect himself.
It isn't until the one alpha he's trusted, his roommate, and two other dominant ones convince him to try another way and show him he doesn't have to live behind fear.
The process of healing and trusting is handled well.

This book has amazing heat aomof your looking for spice, look no further

This book got me all in my feels and I loved it!! All the characters were amazing and I loved how the story was so fluid and guided them all together! Elias has emotions and insecurities that I feel like so many can relate to. The spice and love wasn’t rushed or forced and was important to the story line as it unfolds (but of course it’s a bonus to have some spice in the first few chapters!) This was only my second omegaverse love story and let’s just say I’m obsessed now! Amazing book and highly recommend:)

Yeah it was cute and I enjoyed it, but I don’t know, I kinda felt like something was missing in this book or maybe it’s because it was all rushed at the end, I mean yeah it all started super slow, but the connection with the other alphas was super fast and I wanted to read more about the relationship or friendship between the alphas, because they don’t have a romantic relationship between them just with Elias I don’t know.
3.5 ⭐️ because it has Mpreg and sometimes I want to read those books and it’s hard to find that kind of books

I LOVED this book. Rare do I find charcters that I identify so closely with and I found that in Elias. The mental health representation in this book is done so well and I loved that the Alpha’s weren’t s cliche fix all the trauma their omega experienced. The healing process was real and I loved the journey Elias took to realize he was worthy of everything and more. I can’t rave about Knot Fit For Love more. So good!

As an overall experience of this smutty 🌶🌶🌶 omegaverse harem, novel, I would say I did enjoy this. It was probably because it was well written and light that just made me enjoy it more.

Although there were parts that really made me irked, which is the conflict; Elias problems with alphas, his past, the inconsistent construction of events that I find here, my enjoyment won, obviously.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next work of this author ✨️

Phenomenal storyline and characters as well as great character development. I loved that I got that sense of togetherness and intimacy when they were getting to know each other and that the each alpha had their own scene of developing intimacy, such sweet and truly feel good book to read. Level 4 spice, mmmm, knots… what more could you ask for definitely recommend this to added on your tbr list.

I wish I could say that there's a complex nuanced plot here, but let's be real we're here for super hot sweet alphas taking care and nurturing their emotionally broken but in need of sexual healing omega. There's nesting, domesticity, and some of the SPICIEST MMMM bedroom omegaverse poly/pack scenes I've ever read. THIS BOOK DELIVERS ON ALL NECESSARY SMUT FOOD GROUPS.

An emoticional story full of angst about an omega scarred and traumatized ,struggling with his designation and his instints.
His path crosses with three alphas caring and patient and they will struggle but their happy ending will come.
Why choose, a bit dark and with some triggers, lots of spicy perfect for those who love angst in their romance!

I have no idea what's going on half of the time. This book is just so disjointed and I feel like scenes are missing or they're just not there and I'm so confused 🤣

He's with Ian but also wants another guy who he had sex with once, but then also another one because of a conversation? I just didn't understand the pull honestly with the other two.

MMM+

As far as I know this is Avery Scarlett’s first book it’s MMM+ Omegaverse . It follows Elias and his struggles being an Omega with a pheromone disorder that drives any Alphas he is with feral .i hadn’t realised there was Mpreg which I don’t usually read although I like omegaverse but it’s only in the epilogue and I was invested in Elias’s story so I finished it .

First of all, I know, I KNOW, I do not enjoy multi-partner books. I just don’t. I have only found like 3 in my large library that I’ve truly enjoyed. Unfortunately, this is not one of those. Ignoring that detail, the character building seemed odd, the story telling seemed off, I just didn’t connect to anything really and this didn’t enjoy it much at all…

(I did not read this today I simply cannot remember when I read this book🫣)

Cute, sweet, and to the point honestly! This book was exactly what I was looking for when I read it. Spicy, fun, and didn’t require a lot of thought!

Look are there things that could’ve been/should’ve been more fleshed out and more developed? Absolutely. But I still had a great time reading this
