Having survived her first dungeon, Ailette is on a roll! Not only has she found a way to literally farm the dungeon to make money, but she’s now also able to cultivate her allies to their fullest potential. Most exciting of all, she gets a golden opportunity to meet the hero of Infinite Returns to Save the World. But even in the tutorial stage, nothing in this S-class world can be easy―and the next thing Ailette knows, they’ve fallen into a deadly dungeon! Will she be able to keep the protagonist alive and change the fate of the 17th loop, or is this the end of the line?
Not quite as good as the first one. I miss the interaction with Lord Voice. It is shown, but not as much. I really wish we saw her rush to pray after she woke up, as three days of no praying re-sets her to the beginning for her skill that will take 1,000 days to achieve. Unless what happened in the dungeon made that not necessary now? I’m a little hazy on that.
Anywho, the Hero is actually kind of a jerk and the cliffhanger ending is AAAAAHHHH I NEED THE NEXT VOLUME NOW!!
4, I miss her interactions with her brother and Bia and Lord Voice and I’m a little concerned where this is heading, stars.

"This series of events has made me realize something—I thought I was simply living a fictional life that was set in a frustrating novel I was unlucky to be dropped into but it was foolish of me to think of this world as nothing but a collection of words on a thin piece of paper."
This series continues to be a blast to read! I deeply deeply love it and was surprised how everything I loved in volume one was even more prevalent in this volume!
Probably my favorite part though was the skeletons! Seeing them find a purpose because of Ailette's powers was really touching! I know she's all about making some profit/money to increase her chances in this world, but I think she found it just as satisfying to help those around her! <3 It was especially rewarding when her brother was touched by her gifts/abilities and seeing Prinz stand up to his bully was EVERYTHING!
Also, I love how Bia will be such an active person in Ailette's life moving forward! I have deeply loved their friendship and it was wonderful not only hearing Ailette speak so highly of her, but also seeing Bia be happy too!
The second half of this volume was super engaging and LOVED the dungeon that pops up, even though it is extremely tense! I loved how it paved the way for us to meet the protagonist (HE'S SO CUTE!), but also all the fighting and humor that happens! Though what happened to the kids there was NOT funny! That really packed some intensity, especially with the new character who pops up!
I'm EAGERLY looking forward to the next volume because this volume was so good! Definitely a series I never expected to fall head over heels for, but here we are! 😆
The isekai continues. Spoilers for the first one ahead.
It opens with the cathedral where the protagonist lives, and their discovery, not of Ari herself, but of the existence of a character like her.
Then it turns back to the first book's plot, with Ari recovering from overusing the power at the end of the first one. She and Bia talk, and they work with the dungeon to make it useful.
Then Bia's grandmother arrives, and some issues are settled, leaving the grandmother grateful to Ari, who asks to visit the cathedral.
That's where the protagonist lives, after all. She has found a loophole in the tutorial.
Intermixed with this are such things as an ability to empower characters -- very few of them are eligible -- the burning of herbs, animated skeletons, the use of the Seven Lively Virtues as a gaming stat having been pulled loose from the cosmology that gave them meaning, disputes among the gods of this world, the children chosen by the Cathedral,
It was fine in the first volume and I was curious to see how the story will develop when everything so easy for the main character and if I will get bored or not. It happened sooner than I thought, I'm already getting annoyed with how easy everything is for her. There's even a line where we find out her stamina is terrible and she's thinking "I'm buying an aura skill set and working on my stamina..." Here's an idea, why not actually make her work hard for once in this series😑 Although I do like that she's not as goody two shoes, she has a double motive for making medicines and potions, which is not just to cure people, but money as well and I'm here for it. I'm tired of main characters in so many stories act like they don't need or want money just so the author can show how good they are because look they're not greedy, when in reality everyone needs money to survive (food, shelter, etc), it's not always greed.
I don't know how I feel about where the story is going. I liked her interactions with the people there, like Beatrice, I hope we get to see her and Prinz again. I want to read the next volume to see what happens next since it ended at a cliffhanger, but I'm also not sure if I want to continue this series. I don't hate it, but there are so many series I want to finish and start, that I don’t have time to read one that might just be all right. They also use the word romantisy more than once and anyone who knows me, knows how much I hate that word🤢 I wish people would stop using it and call it fantasy romance like it used to be called. It just sounds so stupid, almost as stupid as people saying, "it's the ber months" which thank God I haven't heard anyone say this year. By just using romantisy in this book has made me think of maybe dropping another half a point because yuck, I am so sick of hearing and seeing that word, I hate that it's actually become a thing that people say now☹️ Some might say they hate the words chick lit too but that has never bothered me.
Ailette is on the roll. With the God on her side (which pops up like a speech bubble). With aid, Ailette survives her first dungeon and receives an update that grant her possiblities to buy and give skills to other people, including some skeletons and her brother. Money and status will now not be an issue. Also having Bianca as her best friend, helps her on the path.
It's also time for Ailette to travel to Vatican, which is an opportunity to meet the hero of Infinite Returns. But nothing is easy, and she falls into an S-rank dungeon with the protagonist!
I mean I just knew the next volume would be enjoyable read. It's fast paced and now I get to explore the religious culture of this fantasy world. Basically after Ailette gained the skill of an saintess, the church went crazy and searched for this child. Unknowingly she just appeared in the right time before another tragedy occur.
The hero, is such a good looking kid, I understand why the heroine will fall in love with him. I also have a thing for boys with blue eyes and white hair, don't know why I gained such taste... But as cute and lovely this Manhwa is, there are some dark sides, which will be explored. Children that falls into the S-dungeon, most of them will die and the dice are rolled. Well that was how the route was supposed to go.
The second volume of The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine is full with family drama, action and violence. A much darker part which I enjoyed because of the twists, the heroine and the hero. And the random romance twist that occured. A must read for any fantasy and isekai lover.
Allie has her dungeon farm and skeleton crew! Production of tasty potions has commenced with the savvy Bia as a business partner, the first step of her path to riches 🤭 Prinz is buffed to become a potential aura master…and gee, coincidentally Bia is looking for a strong sword master to marry into her family to revitalize their house…*coughcough* Cartelaya is introduced with her useful, but actually tragic ability to see the lifespan of anyone she meets. I do wonder what she sees for Allie, since she notes it’s beyond what a normal human can live. Is that foreshadowing a near-immortal status? I do have to say that Cartelaya didn’t do a good job of raising her son, since he’s the first generation that can’t use a sword, and the kind of asshole that locked Allie’s father into an unfair, underpaid labor contract.
Finally, we meet the original pathetic ML of the novel, Tesilid. Of course, Allie’s presence unwittingly changes the entire trajectory of his pre-looping childhood. Potions for you, potions for everyone!
I really love this series. The humor is on point, and the artwork does a fabulous job of conveying it too. I am a little curious about the original Allie. Per Prinz’s account, she didn’t seem very nice, and she was pushed around by the daughter of the ex-head maid. Since Bia and Allie were both originally fated to die the same day, I assume in the original timeline they were also both in the library and got swept into the dungeon. That suggests maybe they did become friends, since they seem to be the only two that died. Although…if someone dies in a dungeon, how do you know, since no one even knew they got sucked into it in the first place?

review for season 2 [chapters 43-70] i love that things are progressing so quickly and the main characters are so freaking powerful. i started reading this series in february of 2023 and have been diligently reading every chapter since, waiting for the translation to be out every week. i don’t think we’re near the end yet, cause the main characters are not together…… I NEED THEM TO BE TOGETHER OFFICIALLY. the situation is getting dangerous for them, but ailette and thesilid are both very skilful and powerful. i can’t wait to see what’s next.
review until chapter 42.5 reading manga with younger leads always make me want to speed up time so that they can grow up and be together. Ailette and Thesilid are so adorable together T.T i love that she does what she want and speak however she want without fear. she’s such a toughie but her brother and father are so soft. it’s cute. thesilid has never met someone like her before so every time she does something that surprised him, it’s a delight.
Aliette has saved herself and Bianca from a dungeon and fated death. Aliette takes a trip to the Vatican and meets the protagonist of the novel.
4.5/5 stars Loving this!! So cute. Love the side characters. It's so funny how characters are starting to realize that Aliette is a rebirthed character.
Aliette is just way too competent.
Notes: 13 LOL God is an MLM love that
30 Repurposing dungeon skeletons as happy farmers is so funny
35 The skeletons are so cute
181 The conversations between TM Gods is so funny
226 What's this vegetarian demon fire and why do I love it
241 I hope fire is ok
295 Not only does this demon torture and murder children... but he also is trying to force an exploitative child marriage?
ngl, not as funny as the first one but the plot is SOOO interesting and alluring. the character dynamics, shifts in how the characters view each other, it’s all soooo good!! we get more GORGEOUS art and more commentary from my FAVORITE gods❤️❤️❤️. the mc being forced to act nice in order to survive with the exception being the mc is a INCREDIBLE set up for romantic intentions and ali needed to act inconspicuous in order to avoid suspicion is SUCH an exploitable plot point!! the butler is also my FAVORITE genre of antagonist and i also like alchemy in general so that’s a HUGE appeal to why i LOVE this series
This was just okay after a phenomenal first volume. It started out slower and took some time to actually get back into the story and figuring out what’s going on, but by the time Bianca’s grandmother appears (and then takes our heroine off to “the Vatican” with her) the story picks up again.
I don’t know what to make of this silver haired protagonist - for being the supposed good guy he seems like kind of a jerk! And the dungeon that turns kids on the verge of death into stuffies was equal parts terrifying and confusing…
But it was still enjoyable seeing her navigate her way through this (afterlife, novel) world.

5 stars. Did I immediately buy the next two available novels... yes, yes I did. I loved this one even more than the first! Ailette's relationship with the gods is so funny I loved everything about this series so far!
Are Tesilid’s “friends” good or bad? I really hope they end up being good because poor Tesilid actually sees them as friends and they’re acting like brats. Anyway loved this volume! The scene between Bia and her grandmother deadass made me cry. I can’t with the family stuff.
Ooh the protagonist is a cute kid. And o love the notification/conversations of the “gods.” I think I’m enjoying this series way too much. I also really am loving the art style and decorative details.
Allie knows her stuff! Her perks are building up quite the collection of people in her life. And now to see her taking out another dungeon... Yeah, this girl is rocking it! I hope there is some romance between her and the blue-eyed dreamboat later.
