A steamy encounter. A tangled web of desire. Bound by fate’s sultry grip.
Wyn Carson, a talented actress with a wounded heart, seeks solace in a one-night tryst with professional soccer player Quin Macy. What begins as a fleeting steamy encounter soon becomes a fiery dance of longing and complication.
When Wyn flees to an idyllic lakeside Airbnb—next door to her best friend Kate Bellina’s serene lakeside abode—to mend her broken heart, she never expects to encounter Quin, who is staying with her cousin as she recovers from a devastating knee injury. Sparks fly as these two icy personalities clash, masking an undeniable attraction.
As they dance around love, fate throws them a curveball when an ex-lover resurfaces, threatening to derail their heated connection. Now, Quin must confront a difficult follow her career overseas or risk it all for a chance at love with Wyn.
Bound by destiny’s thread… unravelled by vulnerable hearts. Dive into this sizzling, age-gap, lesbian romance where lake life and love collide.
Quin is a soccer player, recuperating after a bad knee injury. She is invited to her cousin Luna’s lake house. Unknown to her, Wyn, an actor who Quin had a hookup with, is also staying at the same lake in a rented house. After their hookup things were tense between them, but being forced together by circumstances as their friend groups overlap, they slowly become closer. As usual with a Lauren Hart story, this is very well written, well thought through and good character development. However, I found the story too similar to another book in this series, Dreaming it to Be, whose characters also appear in this book.
Spoiler: It seems to be a standard move in romance books for an ex to return, say how much they missed the main character, and maybe kiss without permission. This is seen by the current love interest, which provokes a situation. In this case, I got so angry about this, for both Wyn and Quin. I just wanted Wyn to slap Angela so hard, and tell her to f off 😖 I realise this is a plot point to precipitate a temporary breakup, but for me it is very overused. Also another overused move, which I thought was going to happen earlier here, is when Quin was talking to Luna, expecting Wyn to arrive. When asked by Luna, Quin insisted there was nothing between them. I had expected that to be overheard by Wyn, leading to a breakup. Like in Dreaming it to Be, this has a cliffhanger ending, which is one of my least liked endings. Expect another book soon.

This is my favorite celebrity romance, with not only one but both MCs world famous, the women's soccer star and the movie star make an unique and fantastic couple, with plenty of drama and steamy hot sex and the perfect setting of a quite but beautiful island. I love the strong chemistry between the couple and despite of their many clashes, they are both kindhearted, decent people, friendly and helpful and down to earth. I also enjoyed the side characters a lot, especially the cousin, she is funny and quirky. I understand that it is only the first part of the romance, so the ending is no surprise. Looking forward to the other half!
Wyn, A fellow actress and good friend of Kate's from the previous books, is trying to get over her past failed relationship. Quin is a professional soccer player trying to recover from perhaps a career ending knee injury. After an unplanned steamy, one knight stand, they run into each other many times. Wyn is staying next door to Kate while Quin is staying with her cousin Luna across from them on the beautiful, idyllic lake.
Their connection is undeniable, although they both dance around it quite a bit. All the characters are delicious and cousin Luna adds much levity, enthusiasm and humor to the story. She is one spontaneous and gleeful character! But... what will happen when Wyn's ex shows up unannounced?
Author Lauren Hart is a wonderful storyteller, but she's a big tease. Just as Kate and Nicole's story from the first book of this series didn't end until book two, Wyn and Quin's ends in a big cliffhanger to be concluded in book four. I'm not a big fan of this delivery method; however, I am a fan of Lauren's writing!
I really enjoyed reading this story about Wyn, an actress, who just ended a relationship and meeting with some friends. And Quin, who is a professional soccer player. After their " steamy hookup" things began to get awkward and tense, being forced with people in unforseen circumstances( people they had prior relations with) in other friend groups...😲😉and..drama of course happens...BUT it is really written well and I found myself turning those pages to see how the plot was unfolding....then ...it ends...yes on a cliffhanfer😣...so have to wait until the next book ....which, I will...
I received this as a free book and leaving my review voluntarily.
I wasn’t expecting a cliffhanger but there it was. This is the third part of the lovely Lake Love series. We get to go back to Sylvan Lake and meet some old friends from previous episodes. Kate and Nickie are as sweet as ever. The two protagonists of this story are not very likable at first but they grow on you as you get further into the story. There’s an old song, titled I Love To Hate You, and in this story, the characters hate to love each other. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, and if they really are bound to be.
Wow! Lauren has done it again, and that ending was a shock! I’m glad there’s another book! Wyn decides to have a quickie with someone named Quin and feels that will be the end of it. She decides to rent a house at Sylvan Lake instead of sharing with her friends. What Wyn doesn’t expect is to see Quin again. The two keep running into each other no matter what’s going on and they are unsure if relationship things should keep happening. Things between them are going well and then bam; now everything is topsy-turvy.
Lauren’s books never fail to bring the heat, and in this book, it starts in chapter one. This is the third book in the Lake Love Series and the chemistry between Wyn and Quin is outstanding. Not only is it hot but it is really funny. I laughed more reading this book than I have in a long time. I loved this book, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. As Wyn tries to get over a breakup she ends up in a one night stand with Quin at her best friend’s birthday party. Little does she know that she is about to keep running into Quin. As things start to change between the women they are met with new surprises and different pain. The story ends and now I have to wait to see how the journey continues with book 4. It was great to see more of the characters from the first two books in the series as well.
Wyn and Quin meet again at the magical Lake, after their previous encounter left them both with complicated feelings. Will the lake deliver its magical touch as it did for Kate and Nickie? This is a real good book , I enjoyed it a lot. Most importantly I can't wait for the next installment which is promising some real good fireworks. Wyn meets Quin at her friend Kate’s party and hook-up in one of the bedrooms. It was supposed to be a one off, but they seem to run into each other all the time. They run into each other at Sylvan Lake. Wyn and Kate are actresses and Quin is a professional soccer player trying to recuperate after a bad injury. Very steamy. 🔥🔥🔥 Can’t wait for their story to continue in the next book.

Wes Carson is getting over the breakup with her long time girlfriend. At a Kate Bellina party, she hooks up with a soccer star, Quin Macy. Never expecting to see her again she heads to Lake Sylvan to relax and recover. When Quin comes to the lake to stay with her cousin, Luna, suddenly she finds herself enjoying a new relationship. A sapphic romance. Great series.
I'm not normally a fan of cliffhangers but the build up to this ending made it worth it and now I must have the next book. Both characters are stubborn but I really wish Quinn would open up and receive and not just run and hide so she doesn't get hurt-which is realistic! Lauren is a great writer and I'm eagerly waiting for April 4th.
Omg you leave it for part two on a cliffhanger I hate it and love it at the same time I was hooked into the story that when it ended I was gutted I couldn't read more so I highly recommend this a must-read congratulations
With Bound to Be, Lauren Hart has added another engaging edition to her library of love stories. Hart writes sweet, sexy, enjoyable-to-read romantic novels that’ll satisfy your sapphic appetite.
Love knows bounds when it comes into your life. When we fight it, it reveals its self in persons we’re not ready to commit, keeping our heart guarded. It takes courage to leap and find that in doing so you may find your HEA.
Gahhhhh the cliffhangers of these books is both killing me and exciting me at the same time. I cannot WAIT to read the next one. As I finish this I already have the next one pulled up and starting now.
This is a hot one that leaves us hanging at the end. Wyn & Quin really set the pages on fire in this book. They are trying to deny their attraction and fail at every turn. They need to open up and express what they feel before making the wrong decision.
When brokenhearted actresss Wyn Carson and injured soccer star Quin Macy have a one night stand, Wyn has no intention of seeing Quin again. When they both end up vacationing on the same small lake, they can't seem to stay away from each other no matter how hard they try. The characters from the other books in the series have integral roles in this book so I recommend reading those beforehand. Just as the first book in this series ends with a cliffhanger resolved in the second book, this one ends with a cliffhanger as well. Luckily, there are only a few short weeks between the releases so the wait won't be too long for the conclusion. If you like a well written age gap story with good character development and don't mind waiting for a happily ever after ending, I recommend this book.
