- It is written in the 3rd person point of view and I hate that. Although it wasn't too bad, it wasn't good enough, either. I was distracted all the time by this writing style which didn't flow and it also caused me to feel disconnected with the characters.
- The main characters have no chemistry or no connection in my opinion. All of a sudden, they are so very much into each other. I didn't see it coming.
He is a player who has been partying with numerous women and when she reprimands him for some reason, he magically decides that she is it. He stops partying and keeps saying she is his salvation, blah bla. And when they have sex, she immediately says she is on pills!!?? Really? After all those women he has been with??!! And after she says she is on pills, this man-whore says he is clean and they are good to go bare. Wow, just wow!
- She is on a stupid man fast for 74 days. They break it once but then she says she needs that time and he waits for her man fast to end. At the end of her man fast, they get engaged. Whoops! I hate slow burns but this was too fast too soon.
- As if all that wasn't enough, most of the time, it is boring with a lot of story fillers. I had to skip a lot - like a lot - to be able to finish it.
- At the end of the book, I still don't understand how our hero Brennen suddenly changed and why it was Abby who changed him. Nothing felt convincing.
- I think it is best for me not to read any more books from this writer.

Audiobook review. In this story, the heroine who has sworn off men, meets Mr. Right, the reformed bad boy. While I wasn’t entirely convinced the bad bay label was appropriate for Brennen, I found that he and Abby were a complementary pairing. They were both caring and had an outer shell that needed to be cracked. They were sweet together, the connection not an instant entity but a build up.
The plot didn’t really stand out to me as different but it was still executed well. Elle, Abby’s cousin, definitely got my attention and created an anticipation for the next book. The pacing and writing were good.
The narrator, Monica King, did a good job with her tone, pitch, and fluctuations. Her transitions were also smooth.

Man Fast is a fantastic start to what is becoming a must read series!! Takes talent to take a man-whore jerk like Brennen and make him relatable and redeemable. Abby, of course, is a delight as we see her grow a spine and discover who she really is. As a side note, I love when an author puts in a particular scene that makes me laugh out loud and want to high five her. For me, that was the scene where Abby's cousin, Elle, gives Brennen a test to see if she'll help him win over Abby. Pure comedy gold. *You're* a genius, Ms. Sandor!! All in all, a wonderful read and I can't wait for the rest in this series!!

This is a new to me author but what a delight to read this enemies to lovers Rom Com! This book kicks off a series about the Bergen Brothers. Very wealthy but all with some baggage. This is the middle brother, Brennen's story.
The banter and timing was just perfect throughout the book. Abby's students and her elementary teacher background play the perfect foil to messing up the town's biggest playboy. Meddling grandparents, grumpy family members and steaming hot chemistry make this a must read story.
I loved that Brennen realized Abby's worth and what she meant to him. He was willing to wait as long as the Man Fast took or until Abby decided he was worthy of her affection. Great heroine trying to find herself for the first time in her life.
Great start to the series. I will read about Brennen's brothers in a heartbeat!

this story was a pleasant surprise. Brennan is the billionaire bad boy with a big heart he did not know he had. He has been living the wild life for the past 10 years. He is trying to cover the pain and guilt of losing his parent. His exploits make news and the tabloids are all over him. His family forces him to make a change of else. Abby is starting over after a bad breakup. She needs to reorganize her life and set herself as a priority. He past relationships with her dad and ex make her take a Man Fast. No men for 74 days. When the two meet it's fireworks and not necessarily the good kind. Abby the do good teacher and Brennan the bad boy do not hit if off. It was great reading how each character grew and how they made each other better. The story is fun, sexy and will keep you interested until the final page. There is also a nice set up for the next brother.

This is my first read by Miss Sandor. This book is intended for NA audience. The story is simple and the plot is non existence. Its bit OTT to my taste. It has this sweet small town romance. And do not forget the insta lust between Brenen and Abby. The chemistry between them is rushed and without any depth.
I have problem with Brenen. He is suppose to be this bad boy type who likes party and ONS. The more I got to know him, he is a passive beta male. There is no trace of bad boy type on him. He seems always be able to say the right thing and do the right thing in every occasion. I want some vulnerability from him.
Overall, this is a OK read. Nothing memorable.

I had a giggle fest while I was reading Man Fast!!!! But there was a serious side to it as well.
Abby was a brave woman! She left everything behind to start over and by starting over she was focusing on her and not men.....hence MAN FAST!!!!
I loved her friend, Elle, she gave me so many giggles!!!! But then......hello Brennen!!! I have to say, it took me a bit to warm up to him, I thought he was a pompous jerk....he did start to grow on me.
I am so excited to see a new series from Ms. Sandor!! I loved her Langley Park series and I can’t wait for more!!!

Wow!!! Absolutely loved this book. Your writing Krista, always fills my heart with emotions, in a good way. You have a teacher Abby, who has sworn off men and has decided to have a man fast since her heart was broken from her now ex, moves to Colorado where her cousin Ellie is. Then, you have Brennen Bergen, who is a playboy due to his past and the loss of his parents in an accident. When Brennen's grandparents are fed up with his antics, they give him a doze of reality. Abby just landed a temporary job at a prestigious school which if she proves herself the job may become full time. Then Brennen shows up in her classroom as a volunteer. Seriously, what could go wrong, right or both. A page turner that will keep you turning pages and leaving you wanting more. 5 stars++++.

This book was ohhh, so good. This is my first book by this author but it definitely won’t be my last. This book captivated me from the first page and I could not stop reading until the very end. The main characters are hard not to fall in love with and their story is sweet. This author did a great job bringing emotions and laughters into this amazing book. Definitely recommended.

This a great book! I totally enjoyed it. It’s the first in The Bergen Brothers Series. You have Abigail Rose Quinn (aka Abby Rose) who is a teacher and was just dumped by her lame boyfriend of 6 years. She just relocated from Florida to Denver and is now on a self imposed “man fast”. Brennen Bergen is a rich playboy who’s about to be cutoff from the family fortune if he doesn’t get his act together. He is now a volunteer in Abigail’s classroom and is seriously testing her man fest. There is lots of laughs and hot steamy scenes and awww moments. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

I LOVED this book! These characters had so much chemistry. I could not read this book fast enough!! The author had me from the beginning. I loved Abby..her story is amazing to read and so real. Brennan...he was fun to read and exciting to see what would happens next. I think his character surprised me the most. But, in a good way!

This was an amazingly hot and funny start to the delicious Bergen Brothers series!! Krista had me laughing, swoon and downright fanning myself. Abby and Brennan are perfect and the character growth was so good! I can't wait for Jasper's story! Man Feast, here I come.

I don’t think I have read a book as fast as this one. I loved Quinn and felt for Brennen. This was a more soft, lovey dovey, but with real problems romance story. If you have read Krista’s other books, Langley Park series, they are more suspenseful. This one hit the romance spot and squeezed my heart in all the right places. Plus I couldn’t have connected more with Quinn.....I live in Gainesville, FL not too far from Jacksonville. Also, my first car was a hand me down from my dad, a 1984 Volvo GLS station wagon, though he put in a CD player. It was manual by the way...so yes, this girl knows how to drive most cars.
Abigail Quinn aka Abby just drove from Jacksonville, FL to Denver, Colorado to start over. She was recently dumped by the man she thought she would spend the rest of her life with, by a note taped to their door. Abby decides to go on a Man Fast for the next 74 days, no dates, no men and no relying on anyone but herself. Now starting over teaching first grade at Whitmore Country Day, she is already running late after a jerk didn’t hold the elevator for her. Not making the best first impression in front of the school principal and other teachers, she heads on to her class to meet some of the parents of the kids in her class.

I loved this book. Abby was stubborn and I loved reading little by little as her walls came down. Brennen started out as a jerk, but slowly redeemed himself. Though I am not going to lie, I had my doubt of him turning over a new leaf. I loved a lot of the characters in this book and of course loved the grandmother. Krista it’s official we need a grandmother spin off! I want to kiss Porter Pyro Boyd for being his firefighter pulling alarm self. I also didn’t know I would want a chaise lounge for my next living room **hint hint**. Also did anyone else besides me realize Krista has a thing for closets? Ben and Jenna had the pantry moment and Bren and Abby had the classroom closet moment.

My first thought when I started reading this book was, “Ugh. Not another billionaire.” And then I learned Brennen was a damaged womanizer. Double ugh. But in no time at all, this bad boy billionaire I wanted to hate had worked his way into my heart and had me cheering for Team Brennen. Ms. Sandor must be some kind of wordsmith wizard because I’m jaded when it comes to this trope. And I’m doubly jaded when it comes to a hero who has a warped perception of some past event that he uses as an excuse for bad behavior. But again, Team Brennen all the way, so brava, Ms. Sandor!
Abby Quinn has sworn off men for the next seventy-four days. She has a new job teaching first grade at an affluent private school in a new city. She plans to focus on the children in her class, staying under the radar of the other first grade teacher and trying to keep up with all of the commitments the principal volunteers her for. Her latest surprise is the community volunteer for her classroom, the tall, handsome, arrogant grandson of Denver royalty and heir to Denver's mega sporting goods conglomerate.
Oh, my heart, I was all swoony through the entire story! It's hilarious and has plenty of sizzle, but there's hit after hit to the heart, and all of it timed perfectly for the most emotional impact. Abby was amazing and I would love to be BFFs with her. She's smart, sweet and compassionate, and has a loving, forgiving heart. And Brennen. Brennen was a dog and hadn’t gotten the memo that it’s not all about him, but knowing Abby changes him. She helps him see his past in a different light and just being in her orbit makes Brennen want to be a better man.
Maybe I should confess that this is my first book by this author, and she won me over in a huge way. Any author who can make me fall nose over toes for the type of hero I despise and have sworn off is one I definitely want to read more from. If she can win me over despite my skepticism, I have no doubt she'll win over the most doubtful reader, so grab Man Fast and start reading today. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with these characters, too.

Krista Sandor totally blew me away with the start of this new series! I adored her previous series, but I have a feeling the Bergen Brothers will be some of my favorites. Man Fast is all kinds of fun with sweetness and bits of humor to balance out the heavier emotions that also go along with a true romance. And the swoon? Off the freaking charts! My heart melted countless times during Abby and Brennen’s story.
Abby is so very sweet and kind. You can’t help but feel for her after she’s been dumped in such a harsh way, but then you see the strength she has hiding beneath that sweet exterior. A woman determined to stand on her own two feet and never be a doormat again gives birth to the man fast. Of course that’s exactly when life throws the sexy, arrogant playboy that is Brennen right into her path. Brennen at first seems like every rich, single, cocky guy out there but the more time he spends with Abby the more the real Brennen seems to come out. These two build a wonderful friendship around the chemistry that is nearly instant between them and as that chemistry becomes explosive sparks that friendship grows into a beautifully sweet love.
Krista Sandor has out done herself with this book and I really can’t wait for the next of these brothers to fall in love.

I have been waiting to read this book forever! I love Krista’s writing and Man Fast made me love it even more. I instantly fell in love with this book the moment I started.
Abby Quinn has had it with men, so she goes on a 74 day Man Fast. Of course, the moment she starts she meets a rather tempting man, Brennen Bergen. Abby is such a loveable and relatable character. She had some sass to her and she really wants to do everything for herself and she wants to find out who she is.
Brennen is a playboy. He’s all over the internet. However, there is much more to the man than what the public knows. Despite his playboy ways, you can’t help but love the man. Especially, with how hard he works to prove himself to Abby. Seriously, I was swooning so hard when it came to a certain non-date, who wouldn’t want to experience that!?!
I LOVED their relationship. I loved how sweet Bren was with Abby and her students. This book was full of sweet moments, but also there was plenty of steamy moments between Abby and Brennen.

A school teacher and Playboy CEO/Billionaire book that I definitely floved!
It's like I'm reading or watching a fairytale story. Dang! Brennen and Abby are so perfect. I can feel their overflowing love and care for each other. They made me cry in happiness, giggle and sigh dreamily.
I love it's simple plot and can't wait for Man Feast!

Man Fast is the first book in the Bergen Brothers series. I really liked it. I loved Brennan and Abby. They had such great chemistry and were just perfect for each other. I loved them together! Looking forward to reading more in this series!

This is my first book by Krista and holy cow! It is hot! Brennen is a total playboy, going from one woman to the next until his family threatens to cut him off if he doesn’t change. Abby has spent most of her life supporting someone else, and she now wants to concentrate only on herself. She imposes a “Man Fast”, however after meeting Brennen she’s sorely tested to keep with it. The chemistry between these two is amazing! I’m excited for the next two books in this series.

Where to begin? This is my first novel by this author and I picked it up because I live in Denver and thought heck ya I have got to read this! I am definitely not disappointed and I can’t wait for what lies ahead with this amazing family!
What I loved most about this book was the importance of “family” though both had some tragic backstory they both still had family to help them through! I also loved the friendship that both characters built and how they supported one another! It allowed them to grow and really made the story so heartwarming! The one thing I loved above all else with this book was the message of self love! Both characters had to learn to discover who they were and find a sense of peace with themselves! You don’t see that often and I loved seeing it with these two amazing characters!

Abby and Brennan are off the charts hot. Their love is so sweet.
Bad boy Brennan leaves a trail of broken hearts coupled with his billions he wants for nothing especially women.
Abby shows up in Denver with all her possessions in the trunk of her car. The only stable person in her life, her cousin Elle, welcomes her with open arms. Starting over again she’s sworn off men to discover who she is on her own. When she runs into a self absorbed hottie she has no intentions of getting involved with his arrogance. But fate would have other ideas.
I could not put this book down and I want so much more of Abby and Brennan.
