This book begins with our introduction to Amanda. She just finished college and is moving back to Philadelphia to live with her sister and begin the next stage in her life. Amanda and Kat are the only family that each other have, their parents passed away and Kat has been helping Amanda finish her college degree.
When Amanda arrived in Philadelphia, Kat did not show up at the airport to pick her up. Amanda decided she needed to take matters in her own hands and find out where Kat has gone and why she didn’t come to the airport as they had planned. Little did Amanda know how complicated her life was going to become. She was entering a whole new world, trying to discover where Kat is and how this place, the Eden Club fits into the puzzle.
Trey is an ultra-sexy man that is mysterious and unknown to Amanda. She has little time to decide does she trust a stranger or go out on her own.
Amanda has a lot to learn if she is going to find her sister and survive while trying. Trey could play a big role in Amanda’s life, but can she trust him, only time will tell.
I absolutely loved this first installment of this new series by Clara Bayard. This book is a refreshing take on a damsel in distress and her unlikely prince charming. The chemistry between Amanda and Trey is sweet yet very steamy. I finished this book in one sitting and can’t wait for the second installment to see what Trey has planned for Amanda.

This book is a short serial about a girl Amanda who comes into town to be with her sister Kat, and finds out she is missing. On the search to find her she ends up in a club and meets Trey. Not surprising is that he is gorgeous and has money. They both begin easily falling for each other while trying to figure out how to get to the bottom of her sisters disappearance. The writing was fine and the story was interesting enough, however, the story lacked enough detail about the main characters, which made them the typical ones you meet in romance books; he's rich and handsome while she's "plain" and he doesn't think so. I actually thought though that the info about the club was interesting and the club owner made an impression. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was because I hate when people fall in lust/love for no reason. Amanda really is not that interesting of a person and there is no reason why Trey should want to help or be interested in her. He has money and plenty of women who want him..and well Amanda doesn't really play hard to get. But, if none of at bothers you, this book is worth the read. You do want to find out what happened and who was involved.

This little novella did a nice job of catching my interest.

Amanda just graduated college and is moving to Philadelphia to be near the only family she has left, her sister Kat. She arrives at the airport and becomes worried when her sister isn't there to pick her up. This worry escalates into fear when she makes it to her sister's apartment and it looks like something bad may have happened. Amanda searches the apartment for clues and eventually ends up at Club Eden. Here she meets young billionaire Trey Heller and it's also where she's faced with more mysteries than truths.

What I really enjoyed about this novella was Amanda's bravery. I mean, the girl has balls. She doesn't give up in the search to find her sister and while some of her decisions may not have been the smartest if this were real life, you can't deny that she's tenacious. I also love Trey and looked forward to any part of the story with him in it. The attraction between Amanda and Trey builds and is believable. I hope things progress for these two!

I'm curious to know what happened to Kat as I was left with more questions than answers. All in all, I look forward to reading the next in this series.

This book was well written and had a nice pacing, featuring fully flushed out characters with pertinent backstories. Amanda was a great character, with lots of layers...raised in her beautiful sister's shadow, wet behind the ears, inelegant & a bit clumsy, and on the flip side, she is fiercely loyal, smart, brave, passionate an resourceful. Trey's character unfolded at a slower clip, with the reader learning about him only through the eyes of the heroine. He's likable, sexy, and deeper than a puddle. There was a build up of romance, mystery, sexual tension and suspense.

Being that this book is part of an anthology that I'm reading, I didn't realize this story was the first book in a serial, basically providing an introductory orientation to the plot & characters. So I feel like I just got to watch a really cool movie trailer without getting to watch the actual movie! Maybe when I finish the anthology, I'll look for the follow up books but there's so many other books higher on my "to read" list that I doubt I'll even remember...

I rather enjoyed this book. Amanda comes to live with her sister after just finishing college and right away knows that something is wrong when her Kat isn't there to pick her up. Once Amanda arrives at their place everything is a disaster and there is no sign of her sister anywhere or where she could have gone. She is a determined woman and is dead set on finding what happened to her sister, there is no way that Kat would kiss up and leave like that. Amanda ends up with her one and only clue that leads her to a private club, while she is snooping around she comes to meet Trey and after some convincing he decides to help her figure out what happened to Kat and where she is. I'm telling you right now that you will have no closure with just reading this book alone, you will want to read the next one and keep going.

Another great series by Clara Bayard! Amanda flying in to stay with her sister, who suddenly has disappeared. And while trying to figure out what happened to sister she realizes she never knew what her sister had been doing while she was away at college. Tries to do some investigation ends up at a sex club but saved by a patron, Trey, who thinks she works there. They work together to find out what happened to Amanda's sister. They do some snooping at the sex club but then are interrupted AND then Ms. Bayard does what she does best...leaves you hanging and wanting the next installment so you know what happens. Great book a definite must buy!!

This book has me intrigued so far and has me wanting to know where this might go. Amanda is moving to go live with her sister after college. But once she arrives her sister Kat is nowhere to be found. She tries to find clues in her apartment which ransacked when she arrived. She found a number which belongs to a Eden club. She meets a guy named trey there. She also soon finds out Kat worked at this club which is a brothel and it's illegal. It's like she knew nothing about her sister. Trey is the senator. Also trey decides to help her find her sister. So now they are on a mission together to find info from working the inside of the club.

This was an okay read but I did find myself skimming sections, as it didn't always hold my attention that well. I think the premise is interesting and it sets everything up nicely, with some interesting characters, however it hasn't enticed me enough to pay for the next 2 books when they are so short. I think it could have been longer and don't really see the need for it to have been split up into 3 novellas.

On the positive side, it was free so I can't complain too much. It was an easy read that killed the time while I was waiting for something.

I found my self really into this book for some reason. Amanda Devlin looking for her sister Kat only to find she didn't really know much about the sister who paid for her (Amanda) to go to college. When trying to follow a clue she ends up in the Eden Club. Sneaking in she get's a eye full of nothing she would have ever thought her sister would be a part of. There she meet's Trey Heller. Rich handsome playboy who willing to help her out. But is he trust worthy? I couldn't put it down.

Not A High Level

When reading a romantic suspense story, I expected a far more urgent tone. What I read was the beginning of Pretty Woman.

I did enjoy the idea of the Eden Club, and can see potential for mysterious, shady dealings at an illegal brothel... But this first part of the story has not inspired me to immediately purchase the next, which doesn't bode well for the level of suspense in the series.

3.5 stars for Trey :)
This book was pretty interesting. Trey is very intriguing and Amanda seems a brave girl willing to put her life in danger in order to save her sister. And to be honest, i have this feeling that there will be a nice love story between the two of them later on.
I want to read the second book and see what happens next.

Not too bed. The ending cliffhanger was really good. There were some strong parts to the storyline, but I did find myself getting annoyed with Amanda's character. One minute she's trying to be brave and find her sister, but the next she's giggling in a dark hallway with a stranger? I wish there was a little more consistency with her characters strength.

This more an intro or a warming up to more.
I knew this was a first book and I already thought she wouldn't find her sister in this one.
But with her going to the club and meeting Trey I thought there would be some hot scenes. But no, only a warming-up to it and a teaser for more.

It is well written and nice to read

The book was too short to really get to know the characters but from what I read they and the plot seemed to work well, for me this book was way too short, maybe this one should have been longer and then maybe a novella for the following book. For this reason I won't be buying the following book as unfortunately it didn't grab me enough to want to continue.

This was a good read..... But I hate how short it was. I can't stand reading short series. This one was free so I said "eh why the hell not". I'll tell you why not, cuz they are too damn short! I want to read more and more but I refuse to buy books for $.99 let alone ones that go up to $3 for less than 100 pages. Defiantly insta-lust in this one though. Again not a bad book just too short.

Decent

It's a good going plot but WAY to short. Each volume is intriguing in its own way but leaves you hanging and the cost of each short story makes me wonder if it was worth it. It's a good series for the suspense but takes forever before it becomes sexy. The whole series is a very quick read.

A lengthy set up.

I am not sure if these short chapters were enough to count as a book by themselves. The ending was a good cliffhanger but I thought the whole book was way too long for just setting up the story.

I got this book free. It did very little to capture my interest. I have no desire to finish the series or move to the next book simply because this book did nothing to get me invested into the characters.

If you enjoy new‑adult romantic suspense with a wealthy hero, a vulnerable heroine, and a clubful of secrets, “Help Me” delivers. It’s fun, fast, and engaging—just be ready to keep reading into the next installments for the full story.

It would probably be a good story but I'm not interested in paying $2.99 for the remaining books in the series when they consist of 100 pages or less per book.

A Sister Is Missing

I enjoyed the story so far, but it is way too short. It seems well conceived and the author has snagged me to read more!

Decent story, too short. Hate novellas that end in cliffhangers, why not just make it into a single book??
