Tasmania affectionately known as The Apple Isle and the place that boasts the title of the world’s freshest air is possibly the closest climate to garden like they do in England.
This most eye catching book captures a number of unique and beautiful gardens on the Island.
It is proclaimed early on that it is not a how to or an instructional type book but instead a glimpse behind the fences and the people that make and nurture these beautiful gardens.
We are taken on a journey around the state and meet some unique folk along the way. The photos are stunning and are backed up with a collage of the actual gardeners at the back of the book.
Putting faces to names without detracting from their stunning gardens.
The striking cover makes it stand out on any shelf it sits.
As an avid gardener I was in heaven when indulging in this well put together book.

Coffee table book, artistic pictures and short biographies of the gardens and owners. I was looking for more depth but a pleasant quick browse.
