Will Clay be able to convince Layla to give their relationship a second chance, or will she push him away again, breaking his heart to the point of no return? _
Power Play is a steamy second chance hockey romance. The book four of Sinners on the Ice series and can be read as a standalone.

Oh man, this was bad. I somehow managed to push through Power Play, but honestly, I have no idea why I didn’t DNF it. After dropping Sin Bin (another book by this author), I should’ve known this wasn’t going to work for me.
Let’s talk about Layla (the FMC). I hated her. Like, hated her with every fiber of my being. She was the most immature, selfish, insufferable character I’ve come across in a long time. Her entire personality boiled down to being insecure. That’s it. No growth, no maturity—just constant pity parties and blaming everyone else for her problems. She’s supposed to be a 26-year-old single mom, but she acted like the same clueless, bratty teenager we saw in her flashbacks.
I thought she’d have to grovel in this book since she’s the one constantly messing everything up, but nope. Instead, the whole thing revolves around Clay (the MMC) bending over backward to prove himself to her. WHY?? He literally didn’t do anything wrong! Meanwhile, Layla keeps breaking his heart, assumes things without reason, refuses to let him explain himself, and never faces any real consequences for her actions. Like girl, PLEASE take some accountability.
Oh, and speaking of bad decisions—why on earth did we need those flashbacks where Layla falls in love with her ex, Eli, while still stringing Clay along? It made me hate her even more (if that was even possible). She acted more loyal and committed to Eli, a guy she barely knew for a few months, than she ever did with Clay, the man she dated for years and who has always loved her.
And of course, Layla keeps going on about how “everyone is going to hate her,” but—plot twist—nobody ever holds her accountable! Everyone just coddles her and acts like she’s the victim. Make it make sense!
The writing didn’t help either. The dual timeline was confusing and messy, with random flashbacks popping up out of nowhere. Plus, this book is the definition of tell, don’t show. Important moments that could’ve made me care about the characters or relationships just… weren’t on the page.
And the ending? A complete letdown. We don’t even get to see Clay and Layla tell their friends they’re together, or see them tell Maya they’re officially a couple. Then there’s Angie and Drake’s pregnancy, which is dragged out throughout the entire book, and we don’t even get to see their babies at the end! Why make such a big deal about it if you’re just going to skip the payoff? The ending was just rushed and felt unfinished.
Honestly, the only thing that kept me reading was Clay and Maya’s relationship. I loved them together. Clay being such a great father figure to her was the sweetest part of the book, and it’s probably the only reason I didn’t DNF. He prioritized her above everything, and I loved how he truly saw her as his daughter. It was adorable, but even their scenes couldn’t make up for how bad everything else was.
At the end of the day, Power Play just wasn’t it. Between Layla being the worst, the messy writing, and the lack of emotional payoff, I can’t say I enjoyed it. Thanks to Grey’s Promotions and Anastasija White for the ARC, but yeah… this one wasn’t for me.
I take back every good thing I said about Clay. Can’t believe this hoe had the audacity to have a threesome 😤
-Single mom? 👏🌸 -Second chance romance but it’s the FMC who broke the MMC’s heart? 👏😮💨 -Not the dad but the daddy that stepped up?👏 🫦🛐 -A pining, green flag, pathetically waiting for the FMC type of man? 👏💅🏽😌
Hi God, it’s me again, please I just want one Clay fucking Rodgers in my life, the daddy that stepped up, the ever patient ever loving saint of a man, the man that even though you broke his heart was still waiting for you to come back and grace his life, the man who didn’t fault you no matter how many times you rejected him because of insecurities, overthinking and overall stupidness. Please I just want one Clay. 🙏🏽
Also I know a lot of peeps will be peeved out by Layla and her stupid decisions and stupid stubbornness and stupid rejections of Clay and I say yes whack this girly, she deserved be boinked one or three times. But personally, I don’t mind her mistakes, I tend to forgive FMCs who messed up pretty easily than the MMCs who does hehe.
"All I know is that she's mine, and I will never give up on her. On us."
This is my first book by this author, and wow, I enjoyed it! It was such a fast-paced read that I couldn't put it down. I finished it in under two days! I love stories with single parents, and this one didn't disappoint. The chemistry between the main characters was just fantastic. What really tugged at my heartstrings, though, was the connection between Clay and Layla's daughter, Maya. Their scenes together were so sweet and heartwarming!
Layla and Clay have known each other since their college days. When Clay spots her at a cafe, he feels an instant attraction, but then he realizes she's the sister of his teammate, making her off-limits. For over a year, he tried to push those feelings aside, but one day, he just couldn't anymore and they started dating. Unfortunately, Layla's insecurities got her, and she broke things off. A few years later, Clay finds himself in her city playing for her brother's team! He sees this as a second chance and is determined to show Layla she’s the only girl he's ever loved.
"No matter where I look I always see you. You're my true north because it's always only been you."
Clay is just so dreamy! He is the perfect book boyfriend. From the beginning, he knows that Layla is his forever, and his love for her runs deep. Even when she breaks his heart, he’s determined to show her they belong together. I couldn’t help but fall for him! He’s loved Layla for years, always supporting her, and when he meets her daughter, Maya, he loves her like she’s his own. The things he does for them are truly swoon-worthy! Now, Layla can be tough to warm up to at first. She tends to overthink things, and her insecurities make her push away the guy who loves her so genuinely. There were moments when I just wanted to shake her out of frustration because she made some questionable choices. But at the same time, she’s a wonderful mom, and her struggles are relatable. I wish we could have seen more of her character growth throughout the story. In the end, though, I loved how the three of them got their happily ever after! I had tears when Maya called Clay daddy – it was such a heartwarming moment.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book! The fast-paced writing is great, the friendships between the characters shine, and there are loads of swoon-worthy moments. I don't know if there will be a follow-up series focusing on the next generation, but if there is, I’m all in! Huge thanks to Anastasija White and Greys Promo for the gifted eARC copy!
"Every day is the best day ever. Simply because she's with me."
Anyone who says this book was good is a liar This pmo from the very beginning so I have no clue why I even finished it but I haven’t come across a fmc in a long time that infuriated me the way this one did. She was literally a horrible, insufferable pick me. This would have been way better if Clay actually hated her and made her grovel for all the ways she did him absolutely filthy in the past bc then she would at least have SOME character growth. Why was he never in the wrong yet somehow had to beg for her love the entire book?? Gross.
Clay and Layla are exes, but when Clay gets transferred to her brother’s team, they’re forced to be around each other again. This time, though, Layla is a single mom, and Clay quickly falls for the little girl who’s the spitting image of the woman he still loves.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Clay and Maya—it was beautiful to watch them bond. Overall, Clay was a fantastic and swoon-worthy character, completely head over heels for the FMC.
Now, what disappointed me was the FMC herself, which I hate when it happens. Layla, like many women (myself included), has her insecurities, but I felt it went a bit overboard. Honestly, I couldn’t connect with her and kept thinking she needed therapy because her insecurities went way too deep, and she kept hurting the MMC repeatedly. This made it hard for me to fully enjoy the story.
I liked it enough to finish, but it’s not something I’d reread.
Thank you so much, Grey’s Promotions, for sending me this ARC!
Power Play is an emotional story of two people navigating their pasts to find their way back to one another, which highlights themes of love, redemption, and resiliency in a steamy second-chance hockey romance. The main character of the story is Layla Benson, a loving mother and florist whose life is centered on her small daughter Maya and her growing company. Clay Rodgers was the first man Layla ever genuinely loved, and she broke his heart. This deep regret is the source of her cautious views to love. Clay, the goaltender for the California Thunders, is fulfilling his career dream, but his personal life is incomplete without Layla. Clay sets out on a mission to get her back, even if it means sacrificing his heart once more, for he is determined to rekindle their romance. I enjoyed the main characters and the friendship/found family relationship they shared with the characters from the other books in the series. This book is amazing, and I can't wait to read more by this author!!
Thank you so much to Grey's Promotions for this e-arc.
This did not work for me. Layla needed therapy. She strung Clay along for 8 years. She was so shitty to him.
She “loved” him but couldn’t handle being alone, so when they were living apart for lengths of time she was so desperate to feel wanted that she slept with other people. That’s why she wouldn’t be “exclusive” after she broke up with him.
Clay deserved better. Heck, he needed therapy to show him he deserved better.
Layla’s only redeeming quality was how great a mother she was to Maya.
⚠️Spoilers⚠️ Power play: 2.5 i hated how Layla treated Clay, it breaks my heart, but it kinda makes up for him being a former manho, still made me feel bad for him. Because of Laylas insecurities she hurt him really bad and made some promises but never fulfilled them. they kinda had the fuck buddy arrangement, so she would come and they would fuck for 1-2 weeks. i loved Clay’s relationship with Maya, he treated her like his own.
safety: * he used to be a manho * H stayed has only been with her over the years, she wasn’t exclusive to him(she slept around after break up, and she said she had wild sex with her baby daddy) * h had a child with om. * they met in collage, he hooked up with other girls (surprisingly this didn’t trigger me much), and she dated someone after they met: “Did I sleep with other girls after that? I did. Layla was off-limits for me, and I convinced myself it was for the best.” Excerpt From Power Play. * Ow drama, not really drama, but he had a neighbour, that flirted with him and he was always checking her out but like not in a sexual way, he was probably curious, because she always wore ridiculous clothes if i remember correctly, but he said he was not interested. * separation 6 yrs, but they saw each other cuz they have mutual friends, and they had sex when they saw each other.
The cover of this book lured me to apply for an ARC of this book🤭. Thanks to Anastasija and Grey's Promo I had the opportunity to receive this copy. Thank you!!
This is a second chance romance, with many ups and downs in the main character's storyline. Layla was Drake's little sister, a hockey player, who just started her freshman year. She instantly had a connection with one of her brother's teammates, Clay. Even though Drake was very determined to keep his teammates far away from his little sister, Clay was the one who had the courage to make a move on her. That was because he new how much she meant to him and he was certain he will never hurt her. But that wasn't available in reverse, because Layla did break Clay's heart.
Many years after their breakup and there was a totally different story: Layla was divorced and had a little girl, Maya. Her natural dad didn't want to stick with them, so he left them to handle things alone. Maya was one of the reasons Clay felt anxious about meeting Layla again. He wanted to win both their hearts but he was more concerned about the little girl. Clay was called by his friends 'The Baby whisperer' and this little 'power' was in his favor this time too🤣. Maya had instantly fallen in love with him - now he had another target: to won her mother's heart over again.
This story had a really cute relationship between characters, having many sweet and funny scenes. Some parts were pretty sensitive, about self acceptance, abandonment, struggles, rejection, life as a single parent.
I can say that I liked this book overall. A bit too many parts with drama for my taste, but the other parts lifted up the score for me. It had scenes with hockey, which I really liked and I loved that family feeling which was built between Clay, Layla and Maya.
Its time to say goodbye to the sinners on the ice series and I am not crying... you are. I loved how Ana saved Clay for last because he didn’t disappoint, and we need to protect him at all costs. This friend group will always have a special place in my heart.
Power Play is the 4th and final book in the Sinners on the Ice Series following Layla Benson & Clay Rodgers. Clay & Layla have known each other since their college days. One day, Clay spots Layla at a café. He feels an instant attraction and wants to get her name, until when he realizes she’s the sister of his teammate, making her off-limits. He tried to push those feelings aside for over a year. He couldn’t bottle them up anymore so one day he went for it, and they started dating. Unfortunately, Layla started to have insecurities because Clay was graduating and leaving her behind, so she ends up breaking things off with him.
A few years later, Clay is back in the same city as Layla and is also on her brother’s hockey team again. He see’s that this might be his second chance to get back the only woman he has ever loved. LET ME TELL YOU. Clay Rodgers is sooo SWOON WORTHY. That man will do everything for the people he loves, and he isn’t afraid to show it. He has been my fav throughout this whole series, and he still is. Right next to my boy Colt. This was such a perfect end to the series, and they will always have a place in my heart.
Thank you Anastasija White and team for this eARC 😊
Loved being back with the Sinners on the Ice crew. This friendship group is one of my favourites and is true found family 🩵 Clay and Layla, and of course little Maya, were the perfect ending to this series.
This one is a dual timeline and done so well, we get a glimpse of how Clay and Layla met and what happened between them to end up where they are now.
Clay 🥹 he loves so hard and just wants to love Layla and Maya with all his heart. He'll do anything to prove he's all in with them both. He fell in love with Layla when they were at college and then they went their separate ways. Fast forward a few years later and they're in each other's lives again. And you bet he falls in love with Layla's daughter and it's so beautiful 😍
Layla made Clay a promise and broke it 💔 she's a little over thinker and some times she made me want to throw my Kindle! But she comes around and works through her insecurities. And little Maya is just the icing on the cake really! She's a little cutie and I love how much she loves Clay 🥰

I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest review
This is the 4th book in the Sinners On The Ice Series but can be read as a standalone
I really wanted to like this book but it just fell flat for me. It had all the things I liked and it was a second chance romance where the FMC messed up so I was really excited to read it because that’s not something you see often in books but the execution didn’t work for me.
I was expecting the FMC (Layla) to grovel since she was the one to mess things up (multiple times) but for some reason this whole book was just filled with the MMC (Clay) trying to prove to Layla that he was worthy of her love when he didn’t even mess up??? She didn’t grovel at all in this book, it was just her feeling sorry for herself and having a pity party. Layla was a good mom and you could tell she really cared about her daughter (Maya) but she was a terrible girlfriend throughout the entire book. She broke Clays heart multiple times and her actions were just so confusing. I couldn’t root for them in the end because I just didn’t feel like she deserved to be with Clay. She did nothing to prove that she deserved him. I also felt like she was very immature for her age, always running away and sulking, etc. She’s supposed to be a 26 year old single mom, you would think she would have grown from when we met her when she was 18 years old but it still felt like she was acting like a kid.
Another thing which just didn’t make sense to me is why the author thought it would be a good idea to have a couple of chapters where we see her falling in love with her ex?? While she was also leading Clay on… This just made me dislike her even more than I already did because it showed her being more loyal and showing more commitment to Eli (who she only knew for a few months) than she ever did to Clay (who she dated and knew for years)??? She kept on mentioning how everyone would hate her but not once did anyone in this book hold Layla accountable for any of the things that she did. All anyone does is be nice to Layla, so it doesn’t make sense she would think that. Also, the timeline was confusing at times especially when it came to the overlap with Clay and Eli. I was just really confused.
After seeing their past, it also just kind of makes Clay seem pathetic because after everything she did, he still loves her and let’s her get away with so much and she made him feel like her dirty little secret. It was sad but also hard to read. I wanted him to stand up for himself and walk away from that relationship because at that point it was just toxic.
What really carried this book was Clay and Maya’s relationship. He did such an amazing job with her and I loved that in the end he was her best friend. I also really loved that he saw Maya as his daughter and that he didn't care that she wasn't his blood. He was very attentive and always made her a priority even above his relationship with Layla. She deserved a dad like Clay. They were so cute together and I loved all their scenes. I also really liked the side characters, I would have even liked to see more of Roman and Clay’s relationship because I really liked the snippets we got.
Overall, I enjoyed the scenes with Clay and Maya and the appearances from the friends but my dislike for Layla just overshadowed those moments. I just couldn’t root for them to be together in the end after learning all that Layla did as well as the lack of effort on Layla’s part to grovel and win Clay back.
Thank you to Grey’s Promotions and Anastasija White for this ARC
First off thank you to Anastasija and Grey Promotions for letting me read this early and secondly if you know ANYTHING about my trope preferences you know I usually hate second chance but this was done SOOOOO well i devoured this book Clay and Layla were honestly everything and MAYA?! Cutest thing ever
the reviews were so positive, i wanna gonna jump headfirst in. BUT.
i see the reviews of the other books, and i see that in the first book (sin-bin), there's a threesome of the MMC1, a girl (FMC1's roommate btw), and MMC3 (clay).
which obviously made me not wanna read this book, or the first book. maybe it would work for someone else, but not me
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Power Play is the final book in the Sinners on Ice series. I was a little disappointed with the book.
I always love a second chance romance story, but this one didn’t hit the mark for me, despite the promise of what it could be. The hockey vocabulary was good, the dialog between characters was well written and I liked the double timeline aspect with the present and flashback chapters. There was quite a bit of internal dialogue and repetitiveness though.
I loved Clay. A college playboy who fell hard for his teammates sister. When he got tired of ignoring his feelings and went after Layla, that was it. He was all in, no second thoughts. He pined for her for years, always believing she was the one for him. He accepted Maya from the get go and thought of her as his own daughter.
I did not love Layla at all. She was self deprecating though 80% of the book. The amount of self sabotage that happened was insane. She has a man that loved her unapologetically and without doubt, but she blew everything up for no reason. She strung Clay along for years and then moved on without a thought to him. She just needed to grow up and thing like a reasonable person. But nope, even when Clay comes back into her life and made it clear he still wanted her, she still can’t get over herself. Then, all of a sudden she does a 180, accepts his feelings, accepts her feelings, is all in with him and all of her issues just disappear.
I also couldn’t get past Maya being 2 and having such advanced vocabulary. The way Layla talked to her, things Maya did and what was “expected” of her was just unrealistic in my opinion.
This plot had a lot of potential and could have been so much better but Layla was a terrible FMC for Clay.

💙 Hockey 🌸 Single Mom 💙 Second Chance 🌸 Dual POV 💙 Brother’s Teammate
In this heartwarming and steamy conclusion to the Sinners on the Ice series, Clay is one of the sweetest and most captivating MMCs the author has crafted. Layla may struggle with insecurities and doubts about love, but when Clay looks at her, all he sees is the beautiful woman he's always adored. As a mom, there’s nothing more attractive than seeing a man excel in the "dad role," and Clay does it effortlessly. His bond with Maya, Layla’s daughter, is nothing short of heart-melting. Despite not being Maya’s father, Clay treats her like his own, and the things he does for her will leave you swooning.
While Power Play can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the previous books in the series to fully appreciate the deep connections between the characters.
Clay and Layla have known each other for years now, and have been a couple before. Until he graduated, and she broke it off and pushed him away. But Clay never stopped loving her. Fast forward 8 years, Clay finally has the opportunity to play in the same team his best friends from college play, and he moves to Santa Clara. Where Layla lives too. With her 2 year old daughter. Clay tries everything in his power to get back together with Layla, as he’s still in love with her. Clay is like a golden retriever, devoted to his people / his tribe. He’s there for everyone, is the friendliest person ever, helps out wherever he can. He deserves the best!!! Layla. Hm, where do I start. I had a really hard time to understand her. At all. She was insecure as a college girl, and still insecure as an adult, mother to a kid. I have not understood until the end why she did what she did. It was heartbreaking to see, how she crushed him again and again and again. So yes, I had a hard time connecting with the fmc and honestly did not like her at all. The friend group and side characters were nice, I liked to see what’s happening in their life. Sorry, I couldn’t love this more.
I kindly received an arc and voluntarily left a review
Second chance… brothers best friend… SINGLE MOM, three of the best tropes all in one delicious bundle that I ate right up!
I thought the dual timeline worked really well and we got a good glimpse into how Clay and Layla came to be and then ultimately fell apart while also following along how they came back together.
Sweet, beautiful Layla was filled with a lot of insecurities and doubts which made her make some not so ideal decisions in her life but they led her to where is now and she had some really nice character growth, learning to trust and see that Clay really is all for her and little Maya Clay loves so big and so hard. He fell for Layla when he first saw her and he also fell madly in love for Laylas daughter. He was there always and never let them had doubts about his place in their lives. An absolutely beautiful man if you ask me.
I LOVED being back with the crew, Colton and Ava, Drake and Angie and Roman and Neveah. I love the way Anastasija has written this friendship group, a true found family when it comes to these characters and Clay and Layla were the perfect ending to the series. It’s definitely become one of my favourite hockey series and I can’t wait to see where we go next
I have been ever so patiently waiting for Clay and Layla's book, and it did not disappoint. The pining and the angst were off the charts.
Clay Rogers is the biggest green flag MMC ever. He just had me giddy with how patient he was and how much he loved Layla even after everything.
Layla had so many hang ups about herself, and it held her back from a lot of things, but I'm glad Clay could eventually start to help her through them.
It was so good being back in this world. I have loved every one of these books and can't wait for more from Anastasija.
Dnfed at 75% I just can't stand Layla I cannot believe she did that to Clay like that . I .. yeah now she was so cruel .. twice .. im just too angry I can't read anymore of her lies and bs , clay deserves better.
Anastasija White has become my auto-buy author and I fall more and more in love with her books. Power Play is the perfect book if you are looking for a second chance romance where it is her who broke his heart and now she is back as a single mom. Since it’s a sports romance, you get enough on ice action with a cute jersey moment that you will swoon over.
Clay is my man and oh the depth his character had in this book was something else. The way he felt and the way he dealt with his emotions was something else. Now lets talk about the relation of Clay with Maya. I was heat eyed through every scene that revolved around them.
The relationship Layla had with Ava was real sisterhood and I was there for it!!
What I liked the most inn this book was the uncertainty and self-doubt Layla’s character went through which not only molded her character but also showed the rawness of emotions someone can go through and the lengths of self-sabotaging behavior one can have.
This book was a perfect read for me and I am so sad that this series is ending!!
I think I rate this 3.75? It was good. I enjoyed the writing. I love a second chance romance, and the single mom trope was so heartwarming and sweet. Clay was the perfect book boyfriend. He was written really well, balancing his past playboy persona with his “it’s always been her”, family man persona. The smut was good. The hockey part of this was enjoyable. I loved the whole big friend group that’s basically a family. I also did enjoy how the dual timeline was done between the past with Clay and Layla, and the present.
What did bother me - Clay and Layla never talked about the issues that very clearly needed to be talked about. Sure he didn’t want to dredge up the past with her ex, but her inability to communicate her feelings mainly due to her insecurity was something they reaaaaallllllyyyyy needed to discuss. For probably half the book they were bordering on miscommunication/no communication, which is like the worst trope in existence. It wasn’t fully that, but it was toeing the line. She was super self deprecating, which I can’t even be too mad at as that’s a reality for a lot of people. But there was little character growth for me, personally.
And secondly, I was constantly surprised when I was reminded that Michael was 6?? And Maya was 2???? I’m sorry but there’s no way these children were as advanced as their vocabulary/actions were written.
Thank you to the author and Grey’s Promos for the ARC!
I was pretty scared of this book. First, I’m not a fan of second chance. Second, I really love Clay and I know it was Layla who break up with him, so not only his heart was broken, but mine too. But my little fears turned out to be unnecessary.
Clay and his relationship with Layla was not easy, she broke his heart again and again, but he love her unconditionally and we feel it while reading. She’s also more matured after this years and while sometimes I wanted to slap her, I also get her. Layla’s moments as single mom was tearing my heart. But Maya, her little cute daughter? She loves Clay instantly and they are so cute together. They’re the sunshines of this book. I can’t count how many times I giggled or doing ‘awww’ when they’re sharing a moments.
Also Clay and Colt ‘the group dad’ - that duo can’t stop amazing me. I literally want some bonus scenes with his bromance, pretty please Ana 🥹
Some tropes are not my thing, but some of the authors can still break through my walls and made me love the book. The second chance Clay was trying to get… damn, it hit me hard.
Power play was super cute and funny, but in the same time sad and heartbreaking. I feel all the emotions. This was so engaging and bitter sweet read. And I love it.
I love Ana’s every book so far (and I read all of them) so it’s a sign that you should read it too.
I DNF’d at page 252 (69%). I just couldn’t finish it. Layla (FMC) sucks and the only good thing about her is Maya, her daughter. She seems incredibly immature and I honestly thought she would be a better character after reading Sin Bin by this author. Clay (MMC) deserved way better and I truly don’t understand why he was so in love with her for years because she treated him horribly and the author doesn’t show us at all why Clay loves Layla.
This is the second book by this author that I’ve read and all of her characters seem incredibly immature. I don’t think I’ll read anymore books by this author if they’re all going to be like this. I didn’t see the relationship between the two main characters in Sin Bin as a great one and the relationship between Layla and Clay in this one is just toxic and also not one I see working out in the long run. If you string a guy along for nearly a decade and never work on yourself to heal the parts of you that made you so terrible to him in the first place, you’re not going to be a good partner for him in the long run.
So yeah, I guess other readers think this is good and I’m happy for them for liking this, but I just did not enjoy this.
ID GIVE THIS FIVE FREAKING STARS JUST FOR CLAY RODGERS
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️
Where can I find myself a man like Clay Rodgers 😭 it’s honestly so hard for me to pick between all of the ‘Sinners on the Ice’ men but if I absolutely had to pick one it would be Clay. This man is so in love and so obsessed with his girl. And he waited for her 😭
Clay and Layla have been one of my favourite couples since Sin Bin and their story just made me love them even more. On top of that, Maya is just so precious. I teared up when she told Clay she loves him for the first time 😭
I don’t think any book has ever had me giggling and swooning as much as 'Power Play' had. I was basically gushing over Clay every page he was present or mentioned on.
This is the last book I read in 2024 and I’m so glad I ended the year with Clay, Layla and Maya!!
