Oliver
Moving across the country to start over was a smart decision. It’s a chance to learn who I am and what I want to be. The cam session was supposed to be a one-time thing. And it was, at first. Until I log back in, drawn to the masked man whose videos I can’t stop watching. I gather my courage to try a one-on-one session, only to come face to face with the one person I can't have. That’s when I realize I’d forgotten the most important lesson.

Don’t fall for the one person you shouldn’t: your student.

Ronan
Camming to avoid getting my heart broken was a smart move. It’s a chance to meet new people without getting hurt. After an amazing online session with an anonymous man with a gorgeous body, I never expect to see him again. And I don’t, not at first. Until he logs back in a few months later for a private, one-on-one cam show, and I recognize the person I’ve gotten close to during our tutoring appointments. That’s when I learn my hardest lesson yet.

Don’t fall for the one person you shouldn’t: your professor.

‘Praise You’ is the third book in the Beaumont University series. Each book follows a new couple through their journey to their HEA. It contains anonymous online fun, forbidden romance, a professor with a praise kink, a cam boy who loves bubble baths, and all the low angst & high heat you can handle.

Praise You is book three of the Beaumont University series. I’ve had the pleasure of ARC reading the whole series. Ashley you did such a spectacular job with this one. It’s my first Professor/Student romance and I won’t be sleeping on this trope.

Professor Carson / Oliver has mutually split from long-time girlfriend and moved to San Diego. He has the cutest, sassy cat named Ember. He has always been attracted to men but never felt the need to explore into his bisexuality. Now new town, new school, he can map his own way. This man has a praise kink a mile long and who could blame him??

My mysterious Ronan James, I’ve been dying to get to know you better. He was always so helpful to his roommates but we never got much of him. After having his heart broken multiple times, he decides dating is not for him. He makes videos online and does live sessions but hides his face. Online means no real relationship or feeling. I love this sweet man more than I could say. Him and his bath bombs and love for the farmers market.

Ronan is a student in Professor Carson’s literature class but before that, Oliver was the shy man on the other end of the camera. These two instantly feel drawn to each other. However, this books gives us the build up that we all need and love. Tutoring sessions and longing glances soon turn to attraction. That soon turns into more.

I absolutely loved this one so much, Ashley. Thank you for letting me ARC read for you. It’s always such a pleasure, getting to know your characters. I have loved this series and all these roommates so much.

I can’t wait to see what you do next.

- age gap
- forbidden
- professor x student
- camboy

Ronan loves the anonymity and freedom that he gets from camming, but can’t stop thinking about a super hot session he had with a shy anonymous man. When the man eventually returns and asks for a one on one, Ronan is floored to find that he’s none other than his hot Lit professor he’s been crushing on.

Oliver cannot stop watching the videos of the masked camboy he stumbled upon on the Fan-tasy website. After finally getting up the courage to do a one on one session with him, Oliver learns that the masked man is none other than one of his students, Ronan, who he has been tutoring outside of class.

Both Oliver and Ronan have been denying the chemistry between them for weeks, but uncovering this new truth makes that impossible to do any longer.

Honestly, I love a good forbidden romance, so I absolutely ate this up! By far my favorite of the series and the perfect ending!

First of all I have to admit that the title lured me in 💛
And it’s perfect for the story!

I loved the tension between, the forbidden aspect and their chemistry is seriously off charge!

It’s typical me to jump into books in series in random order, and now I have to go back and read them all 😍

1st person, present tense, dual POV

Oliver Carson (30), literature professor at Beaumont University
Ronan James (22), student at Beaumont University, FAN-tasy content creator

The events of this book overlap with those of Protect You but the author does an excellent job of writing the books so that neither spoils the other or leaves you feeling like you're missing half the story. It's a delicate balance and I commend her since each would read well as a standalone without any trouble.

Mistaken/hidden/secret identity is my absolute favorite trope so the whole camboy x subscriber was like catnip to me. I loved the parallel that while Oliver obsessed over each new video 'masked_menace' released he and his student, Ronan, were slowly becoming friends as he provided extra help outside of class and they discovered they clicked so well. I wish a little more of the cam stuff had been threaded through the book to be honest.

This was a bit of a delicious slow burn because of the taboo nature of their relationship. Not wanting to start a physical relationship while Ronan was actively enrolled in Oliver's class meant when they finally came together, their chemistry was explosive. The strict roles and praise kink were incredibly hot.

This was incredibly low angst and high heat. I'd have preferred a little hiccup for the couple to overcome because for all their worry about what would happen if, there is no real jeopardy and I kept expecting something to occur. As it was, the book was a smidge long for everything to have gone so smoothly. It didn't bug me too much since the spicy bedroom scenes were so good.

The multiple LotR-esque endings made me laugh once I thought of the comparison; just when you think the book is over, think again. At least you didn't have to sign up for the author's newsletter and download the epilogue. I hate that trend so much, so this was a refreshing change.

This was a great conclusion to the series and I look forward to seeing what this author comes up with next.

I was given an ARC and voluntarily wrote an honest review.

I loved Oliver and Ronan so much, 💙They are each other’s missing piece and reading their story while they discovered that was a joy.

I loved the age gap and how the dynamic with it was written. Oliver is 30, but is the “innocent” one in the relationship. I loved how commanding and confidant he was in front of the classroom and how shy he was with Ronan. Ronan is 22 but is so mature, accepting what he’s feeling despite his past hurts, leading Oliver in discovery of his own sexvality and embracing his dominant side.

Them realizing how they previously met and knew each other via Ronan’s cam lifestyle was very fun and embodied Oliver’s shyness and Ronan’s dominant personality in forcing them to face the situation head on.

I really enjoyed the pace of the book. It’s low angst, but not rushed. Ashley really takes the time for the characters to get to know each other and work through the professor/student hurdle. I also loved how much the characters from the other books in the series were present, in addition to Nick, Oliver’s new friend. It really rounds out the story.

And lastly, the spicy times were 🔥. So, so good. You get a front row seat why the book is called Praise You and I was here for it! Ronan’s mouth! Oliver’s blushing! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Ashley Rayne!

This one starts off with Oliver, a professor coming out of a break up and trying to figure his life out and maybe explore his attraction to men, and Ronan, a self assured student who moonlights as a cam boy. I think we can all guess how they first meet 😂  even though in the beginning Ronan is Oliver's student, they agree not to further their relationship until after the class is over, so the power difference is short lived.

I liked how even though Oliver was the older one, he was much more shy and unsure heading into their relationship, it balanced the power a bit (or as much as you can with a forbidden trope like this one 😅). I thought their dynamic was cute and sweet. Obviously with books like this you have to suspend disbelief a bit - it isn't really a real world romance, as long as you're cool with that though it's a really low angst and chill story that's great for when you're just in the mood for a non-complicated and well written romance.

I feel like there isn't much else to say about this one, it's fluffy and light and Oliver and Ronan adore each other and pack the book full of spice. For me, I lean a little bit more towards romance level vs heat level for books like this, but I still enjoyed it, and if you like the heat, then you'll be happy with this one.

This was too damn cute. The story follows Ronan, a student at BU and his new teacher Oliver, who recently moved across the country to be true to himself.
Despite the forbidden nature of their relationship, the story itself was super cute and angst free.
There's no drama; it’s all very homey. They talk things out, go hiking, cook together, and take baths together. It's just pure fluff - cozy, sweet, and heartwarming.
Ronan and Oliver's relationship is incredibly cute, and they’re two of the loveliest people I've come across. The way they understand and love each other is really touching.
If you're like me and have been reading a lot of angst lately and want a little breather, then give this one a go.

3.5/4. This was a fun, quick read. I always love a cam boy, a professor/student situation, and a praise kink, so I was excited about this book. I liked Ronan a lot. He was caring and he went for what he wanted. I also liked Oliver. He was kind and kind of shy. He was just figuring himself out after a divorce and it was endearing. I liked that they met online without knowing it was each other, then felt that connection in person as well. I love the forbidden aspect and I think they handled it well. Overall, there was a lot of talking that I don't think we totally needed and I didn't quite feel the love between the two as strongly as they said they felt it.

Notes: 1.5/2 spice levels, professor/student, age gap, forbidden, sex work, praise kink

Ronan is a college senior making some extra cash on the side and Oliver is the brand new, shy professor. They bond over tutoring but also over a shared night that they don’t know took place with each other.

I love when an age gap (8 years here) has reversed stereotypical roles. In this story, Ronan is in control. He’s in charge and he takes the lead in the bedroom. Oliver is a needy little thing with a praise kink. Outside of the bedroom, Oliver is a confident Lit professor.

Their dynamic was so sweet. It was a little easy with no real conflict or angst. No third act break up etc.

I think they’d make the long run and I love the multiple epilogues. 🖤

I received a complimentary copy of this book but this is my honest and voluntary review! 🖤

Low angst, no drama, higher heat, and easy to read, I really enjoyed Ronan and Oliver’s story. They met anonymously online, only to find themselves at the same university months later. Ronan was anti-relationship, and Oliver was trying to discover himself after a breakup, but that pull to each other was hard to ignore.

I did this whole series backwards. I started with this one, which is book 3, and now will need to go back so I can read about Ronan’s roommates and how they found love. That being said, it reads so well as a standalone.

I liked to see Ronan - the fifth wheel of the house - getting his own HEA. And of course he couldn't do it the easy way, but had to fall for his professor.
And the professor - Oliver - was also falling. Online, and offline.
These two worked well together, in and out of the bedroom.

And how to tell I'm old: I got Fatboy Slim's Praise You stuck in my head whenever I saw the cover.

Can’t believe Ronan & Oliver are the end makes me wanna cry. Seeing all the guys get their HEA makes me happy that Ronan got his too. Reading about my Ronan crying broke my heart a little but it worked it out in the end. If you like masked men, camming, student/teacher then this will be your book. Definitely love this one.

“You know the begging always gets me. I fucking love when you beg.”

The title to this book fit this couple to a goddamn T.
Also, Oliver’s screen name 😍 that had me so giddy cause helloo!!

Finally we get Ronans story and phew was it so damn good.
His dirty talk is on another level and his praise he freely gives out without question🥵
Give me a good boy and you’re so good for me and I am done!

Oliver & Ronan are that professor/student & forbidden couple that we all hope happens and these two were simply magnetic. Not much kept them apart or from looking at the other no matter what.

I have loved all the boys in this series but Ronan takes the win for sure at the top.. his dominance and praise and and..just everything! The way he is for Oliver inside and outside of the bedroom is the best part to me.
Oliver, I just wanted to be his friend before anything else. This man who came to Beaumont for a fresh start only to find what he never expected, his forever.

All my favorites were sure in this one..
The praise, you bet your sweet ass!
The begging, this.. this right here!
The sweetness, so sweet you could get a cavity.
And all the spice was 🥵

What a way to close out this series.
Ronan & Oliver made it so good.

I feel like rating any lower than two stars would be cruel, because the store was cute… but the writing was not. The writing was bad. I barely believe these characters love each other because the author TOLD us they fell in love but they did not SHOW US. All these conversations and student sessions that happened… we barely saw a hint of them. Instead the author spent pages describing mundane tasks like MC 1 cleaning his bathroom or brewing a cup of coffee. We missed out on what would have built the relationship. What was left was weak.

I LOVE this trope, but it was executed poorly. The stakes simply weren’t there. We heard that the professor might lose his job, but did the author forget that they wrote?!? VERY early on it’s clearly stated they the professor combs through the rulebook and that there’s no rule against professor/student relationships, but all of a sudden he says he might lose his job? Also, they wait to get together until he’s not his student anymore. In the real world? Totally smart. In the book world? BORING.

Also, the author is so worried about not giving spoilers for the previous book that is apparently occurring at the same time frame as this one, and what results is random references to drama with another character that do NOTHING. If you won’t tell us what it’s about and it has no serious impact on the characters in this story, why is it there? It’s so random and unnecessary. Build out the world to include them or don’t, but these random references just feel like they’re baiting the reader to read the other book.

It just read like a few boring journal entries about someone’s relationship.

Arc Review
Released 23rd July

Oliver Carson has broken up with his girlfriend and taken the opportunity to leave Chicago behind and move to San Diego, to start over. He has a new apartment, and a new job as a professor at Beaumont University. He has always known himself to be bi-sexual, but never been able to act upon it, until now.

Ronan James attends BU and to make himself a little extra money, he is a camboy, making videos and occasionally doing lives. One live session he is paired up with Oliver, who is nervous and embarrassed, but Ronan guides him through, although wearing a mask and remaining anonymous.

The way Oliver and Ronan conduct their relationship is wonderfully heartwarming and mature. The love these two share radiates off the pages and into your heart. It is very low angst and high heat, coupled with warming bubble baths. If you love forbidden romances featuring a praise kink between a professor and student, then this is for you.

This is the third and final book in Ashley Raynes Beaumont University series, while this can be read as a standalone there are lots of mentions of characters from previous books.

“I will do anything to keep you”.
“Even if it means having to leave your job?”
“Yes, one hundred percent. If I have to choose between you and my job? There’s no competition. It’s you. Always and forever. I can promise you that”.

*side note, a desk gets it yet again*.

I simply adore this book.

♥ Oliver and Ronan ♥
Genre: M/M Romance
Format: E-Book (ARC)
Series: Beaumont University # 3 Can be read as standalone
I received an advance review copy for free from Gay Romance Reviews, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Character Development: 3/5 • The characters were well written and felt like people you would meet in the real world. There just wasn't a lot of depth to them. We didn't get very much back story into their lives, just surface level information.

Plot: 3/5 • The plot was mostly Oliver and Ronan's relationship. There were some side characters thrown in but were written in way to not give away the other two books in the series.

Writing Style: 3/5 The book was well written, with no grammatical or spelling errors.

Spice Level: 3.5/5 The spice was good. Oliver lives for praise and Ronan dishes it out.

Overall Rating: 4/5 This was a light hearted easy read. I enjoyed seeing Alexander and Elias again from "Not So Casual". If you enjoy light angst and medium heat this may be for you.

Suddenly, its the end of July slash beginning of August, and I have so many currently-borrowed-ARCs due. Here's to me speed-reading (which, frankly, I'm great at). "Praise You" by Ashley Rayne. Its the third book in her Beaumont University (BU) series.

["Oliver

I will, somehow, always be pleasantly surprised when authors take characters and turn archetypes and cliches on their heads. Its glorious and beautiful. Don't get me wrong, those archetypes/cliches are as such for a reason, but when they get twisted? It makes the moment brand new, it speaks life into something old, and it adds another dimension to something already multi-dimensional. It's delicious (Ronan things so, too ;) ).

Speaking of Ronan. God, he fell right away. I mean, so did Oliver; Oliver just had a little bit more restraint (but when he realized his feelings, they hit him like a freaking truck...and then he ran away).

They never excepted something even remotely close to a HEA: Oliver was just broken up with and moved across the country, and Ronan just didn't do relationships after being cheated on and left behind so many times. Neither of them were sure about themselves or their feelings or their place in this world, but they were sure (eventually...it wasn't right away (if it was, we wouldn't have a book)) about each other. They were both so deserving of love, of something dedicated to them, of praise and support.

I loved Praise You! I love that this professor/student relationship doesn't also include an age gap. Those aren't a problem, but it's nice when the MC's connection can be made while they're still within the same range of emotional maturity (mostly😉).

I also like that there's a little bit of timing crossover between Ronan's book and Noah & Asher's. It gives a little bit of background to some of Ronan's actions we witnessed earlier in the series. It was exciting to see Oliver's connection to another story as well, although I will admit that I had to go back and look to see where he had been mentioned to know if I'd missed any details (I didn't really, he was only mentioned once). Extended author universes are always exciting and one of my favorite things about reading multiple books from one author.

Each book in this series brought a fun, unique take on the characters within, making them great for rereads in the future. Oliver & Ronan were very sweet together, and their steamy scenes were very provocative and a lot of fun to experience. Their relationship flowed so well and naturally, and I was happy to see no really serious moments of angst or stressors of that kind. They deserved to be together as soon as they realized their feelings.

I commented recently on another author's new release about really enjoying the multiple epilogues. This was a fun surprise to see here as well. I love getting the chance to explore the characters' extended lives and stories. It shows their growth, as well as highlights the pieces of them that don't change, no matter how much time has passed. The sweetness between Ronan & Oliver is so wonderfully apparent, as is the maintained steamy attraction. As with any new book I read, I wish the stories were ongoing and we could continue to hear about their lives as if they were great friends of ours. Praise You is no different, especially as the end of the Beaumont University series. It would have been fantastic to have one more gathering of the roommate group, but it was nice to have their get-togethers referenced in the end.

I received an advance copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

3.5, rounded up

In the last installation at Beaumont University, we finally have a love interest outside of the house! Ronan, our poor fifth wheel, has a secret: he's a camboy. One day, a charming guy hops into his live session and he is intrigued. Unfortunately, he has no idea who he is, or where he is. Which is fine because his new literature professor is the full package--not that he's going to do anything about it. Unless...the hot professor and cute customer are the same person?

I often have mixed feelings about student/professor relationships in books, because on the one hand, they are pretty hot in the fictional world, but on the other hand, very icky in real life. This book did toe the line pretty well, taking the power imbalance out of it as much as possible (and in some ways, tipping it more in Ronan's favor). I also liked how their feelings had time to develop beyond just physical attraction before they acted on anything. And very importantly, no one found out who the other was online first and kept it a secret, which I HATE because it's just an easy way to develop a conflict.

Outside of all that, Oliver and Ronan were very cute together! And once they were no longer professor and student, very steamy! We also get to see the missing time from the previous book here, since a lot of the story takes place in the spring semester.

If you want to read a professor/student relationship but they kinda make you feel icky, this is a good one for you! (It is also a good one for you if you like a good college romance, or a minor age gap romance, or a romance with an Onlyfans-esque element).

This book was super cute. I loved how the two met on an adult cam site. Ronan wears a mask so he won’t be noticed by potential people that might know him and then there is Oliver.

Oliver is so sweet. He moved from his home to a complete different state for his dream job. What he didn’t expect was to meet the cam guy that he met a while back. Heck, when Ronan realizes the guy he had been infatuated with is his professor, things get interesting really fast.

I love their super cute dates, especially to the farmers market. The bath bombs just makes me love Ronan more because who doesn’t love a bath with bath bombs?!

And their dynamic of Ronan being the one in control is super hot when Oliver loves it when he praises him. I also like that Oliver realizes that Ronan loves his adorable freckles.

And I love how Ronan’s friends welcome Oliver and Nate into their circle. I love how they bond over video games and food. I’m so glad that Noah eventually came home. I know they were all happy, especially Asher.

All in all, this book was super cute and I’m so happy they got their HEA!

Fresh off of a break up, Oliver is moving across the country and starting over as a professor at Beaumont University. He also wants to do some exploring about himself and finds himself on an app. After one live session with a masked man, Oliver finds himself drawn back to the masked man's videos. Ronan has had his heart broken one too many times, so he only does camming sessions with strangers. He had one amazing one-on-one session with an anonymous user and hasn't heard from the person again. Until one night, that person logged back on, and he realizes that person was none other than the very person he's been secretly falling for in his tutoring sessions: his professor.

Praise You is the third book in the Beaumont University series, but it can be read as a standalone. This series follows a group of five college friends and roommates. Ronan and Oliver had a not so conventional first meeting. In fact, they were crushing on each other as student and professor before they realized they had actually met before in a very spicy way. Once they finally gave in to their feelings and actually got together, it was so good! Ronan was so patient with Oliver, knowing that Oliver had never been with another man before. Plus, the way Ronan made sure to take care of Oliver's praise kink during spicy times was 🔥. Then, the way Oliver made sure to take care of Ronan's feelings, knowing how Ronan was treated in past relationships, was so sweet. I absolutely love this series, and I'm hoping we get a book for Nate.

I adored Oliver and Ronan! 💙 They completed each other and watching their journey was delightful.

Praise You was the perfect blend of sweet and steamy. Despite their unusual meet-cute, they made it work effortlessly. They knew what they wanted, cared for each other and weren’t afraid to show it. Each provided exactly what the other needed—Ronan needed stability after being hurt repeatedly and Oliver needed someone patient who could take the lead.

The age gap dynamic was beautifully written. At 30, Oliver is the "innocent" one, commanding in the classroom but shy with Ronan. Ronan, at 22, is mature and leads Oliver in discovering his sexuality and embracing his dominant side.

Their realisation of having previously met through Ronan’s cam lifestyle was fun, highlighting Oliver’s shyness and Ronan’s dominant personality.

The book's pacing was perfect—low angst but not rushed. I loved how Ashley Rayne took her time for the characters to know each other and overcome the professor/student hurdle. The presence of characters from previous books and Nick, Oliver’s new friend, enriched the story.

Last but certainly not least. the spicy scenes were so good! The title "Praise You" fits this book perfectly, with Ronan’s mouth, Oliver’s blushing, and I boy was here for it!

I really enjoyed this story and the author knew how to keep you hooked while reading. Such a wonderful story to read.

Oliver aka Professor Carson moved across country after his relationship ended with his girlfriend. He wanted a fresh new start and to figure out who he was. He took a job being a Professor seeing how it is something he enjoyed doing and figured out teaching College was better for him. One night he discovers a website and a masked man. He can't seem to get the masked man out of his mind after that one time.

Ronan has always done stuff for everyone and takes care of the ones close to him. If he can help them, he will. He lives with his best friend and other friends. He decides to do some videos on the side and hide who he is. He ends up meeting a man he can't seem to get off his mind. He hopes that he will see him again but until then he will continue with College.

One night they both end up realizing who each other were and neither one of them wants to risk each other however they can't seem to stay away. They must do their best to stay away until Ronan is no longer the student in the class.

This story is just that good. The way the two connect with each other and it being strong connection, you can't help but wish that they would be together. They really do care about each other and make each other lives better.

#I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest review.

This was a rather slow burn romance despite the live session in the beginning. It was interesting to see how the author was going to solve the issue with the two of them not knowing who each other was. I like the approach that she came up with, usually the two skirt around the issue a little bit more, and discover it accidentally. The two just had chemistry and wanted to spend more time together.

Wasn’t sure how I’d like the cam boy aspect of the book, but it was actually pretty good and didn't even really come up that much. ()And by the time I had started reading about Ronan, I’d completely forgotten about Noah and Asher (book 2), so it was a little distracting to be remembering (mentioning) about Noah. Also if you didn’t read about Noah, the issues he had were not discussed at all in this book, so he just disappears and your kinda left wondering what happened. The author did state she tried to write it without spoilers as their stories overlapped a little.

It was also nice that there wasn't really a third act break up with the two of them, nor any big conflict of interest in the student/teacher part of the rules. The dean was pretty cool, and it was refreshing to have such a cool authority figure in school.

This book didn't have too much angst, it was a nice even keel read. Like a feel good romcom.

“Oliver knocked down all my walls. No, he bulldozed them down. He fixed all the little cracks and fissures in my heart that told me I wasn't worth it.”

(ENG) As with the previous books, Praise You is an easy read with characters that you'll love from the start and keep entertaining you all the way through.
The age difference is taken into account and the relationship starts off as teacher-student, which makes for an interesting reversal of roles within the room. Oliver is very shy and Ronan is confident and attentive to him. They are a great couple and it's clear they were meant to meet.
I thought the ending to this series was fantastic!

Praise You is the third book in the Beaumont University series. Can be read as standalone.

A sweet, swoony, low angst dopamine read with ALL THE PRAISE. 🫠

Oliver is starting over. He has moved across the country, accepted a professor role, and is embracing his bisexuality. What he doesn’t expect is his student/ camboy Ronan to bulldoze in and turn is life upside down! Oliver and Ronan are equal parts spicy and precious! Love the praise and love how they compliment each other.

- thoughts on praise you -
i’m not normally into professor/student tropes but man, this one was done SO well. it’s not done in a way that gives me an ick, it was done tastefully and correct.
the way these two meet outside of the classroom is just too die for. it is the cutest thing and at the same time 🥵
reading the other two books i was always intrigued by ronan and couldn’t wait for his book. the cam sessions were just perfect it totally fit his personality: outgoing, in charge, and playful.
oliver is the perfect partner for ronan. opposites yet pieces that fit seamlessly together and compliment one another. and let me tell you, the way oliver reacts to ronan 🥰 *swoon* i love that even though oliver is the older of the two he is the more shy and reserved one who thrives on praise from ronan ☺️

i just really loved this book and yall should 100000% check it out!
here is what you can expect from this book:
🐈 MM romance
🛁 professor/student
🐈 praise kink
🛁 cam boy

Amazing!

I loved this book! The story of Ronan and Oliver is sweet and wonderful and a whole lot of fun to read! Oliver moves across the country after his break up and finds a new job teaching college literature. He will meet Ronan in his first semester of teaching classes at BU but doesn’t realize it’s not the first time they’ve met. An online encounter will reveal the truth to them both but neither has the strength to stop the chemistry between them. There are a few bumps along the way but it’s mostly smooth sailing for them. They manage to navigate their way through their budding relationship, something Ronan swore he would never do again. But with time, patience and actions, Oliver shows Ronan that he is worthy of love and it’s wonderful to see the change in Ronan as he realizes that he deserves this happiness too. Both have some great friends that add some wonderful character and a few shenanigans to their tale. Add in one sassy cat and you get a story that is an absolute must read!

I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

4.5 ☆

This was a very lighthearted, quick and easy read. Sometimes we just want something low angst that will make us feel good and smile and this is it.

I loved the two main characters and how they met. Their relationship progresses throughout the storu very nicely. I really enjoyed Ronan's friend group and how they became Ronan and Oliver's friend group by the end.

I love good praise, and this had that in spades! I really enjoyed the fact that Ronan kept checking in with Oliver about how he felt about things, and getting his consent to things progressing. I loved all the honest communication they had all throughout the book.

What I also really enjoyed and have rarely seen in books is that we got multiple glimpses into their future. And with a couple this sweet and cute you really want to know how their future looks like.

I also enjoyed the freckle love that we got in this book. I love that in every book I've read it in.

Oliver and Ronan would suggest you get a bath bomb and enjoy their story while enjoying a nice relaxing bath.
