True Singapore Ghost Stories Book 27 continues one of the world’s longest-running series with more supernatural stories primarily set in Southeast Asia.

The stories are short, entertaining, and fun, with references to old legends and tales, including the Kuman Thong (a Thai household divinity), the Charlie Charlie challenge (a divination game), susuk, and the Okiku doll. These stories deepen my appreciation for the folktales and legends that exist in Singapore and the surrounding region. Readers who enjoyed the previous TSGS series books will definitely enjoy this addition.

The series has lost its magic. I don’t find the stories that entertaining anymore. DNF this.

Loved reading it as a young kid, now it’s not that scary anymore and a chore to read. Would recommend this for students though

Thought it would be fun to read the series from my primary school days but some stories were a little boring.

Short stories to read for fun and perhaps I learnt a bit of Singapore's history. Some stories gave me goosebumps, like the Kuman Thong or the taxi driver's stories on Mount Pleasant and Punggol Road. Some stories are meh. Pretty mild so anyone can read.
