Leading Cases in Constitutional Law, 2007 Edition

Rate this book
By judicious editing and careful summarizing of second-level cases, the authors have produced an excellent constitutional law casebook that is under 900 pages. The new paperback will be published every year and will include all the significant opinions handed down during the Supreme Court Term. The new book contains what the editors believe to be the most important opinions of the Supreme Court one might say the essentials for teaching a basic course in constitutional law. With a very few exceptions (brief commentaries after Marbury and Roe v. Wade), the new book will contain none of the Notes, Questions and many extracts from the legal literature that has been characteristic of the large Choper-Fallon-Kamisar-Shiffrin casebook. The organization of the compact book will be similar to the large one.
