She enjoyed her childhood and young-adult years in Elmira, New York, and now makes her home in Boise, Idaho, with her husband and their two dachshunds, Kacy and Wally, and other members of her family.
While growing up, she was drawn to the idea of writing stories from a young age. Books were always present, being read, ready to go back to the library, or about to be discovered. All in her family shared information from the books in general conversation, giving them a wealth of knowledge and vivid imaginations.

Ed eccoci arrivati al terzo volume "Salty Key Inn".
Non vedevo l'ora di ritrovare le sorelle Sullivan, e soprattutto era tanta la curiosità di sapere se sarebbero riuscite a portare a termine la sfida lanciata dallo zio Gavin.
Nel libro troviamo come sempre i pov di tutte e tre le sorelle, ma la storia è concentrata in particolare sulla terza, Regan.
Regan continua a lavorare sodo per portare al successo l'hotel, e grazie al suo impegno e al buon gusto è riuscita ad avere dei contatti extra.
Nonostante il successo lavorativo, nella vita privata non riesce a trovare l'amore, chiedendosi se un giorno troverà l'uomo dei suoi sogni.
Quando Regan e Brian vengono coinvolti in un incidente in moto, lei inizierà a pensare di sé in un modo totalmente diverso, non contando solo sulla bellezza come ha sempre fatto, pensando invece che è il cervello quello che conta più di tutto.
Regan aiuterà anche Brian a riprendersi, capendo che davanti ai suoi occhi ha sempre avuto l'amore.
La storia è scritta bene e devo dire che questa storia in particolare mi ha emozionato tanto, ritrovandomi spesso con le lacrime agli occhi. L'amore, l'amicizia e la famiglia sono i temi principali.
All'interno troviamo tanti colpi di scena, umorismo e l'immancabile lieto fine. Ottima anche la traduzione; tanti complimenti ad Isabella Nanni.
Non vedo l'ora di leggere l'ultimo libro della serie "Alla scoperta della famiglia", per sapere se le sorelle Sullivan riusciranno a vincere la loro sfida!
