This book investigates qualitative interviewing as distinct from the usual focus of it as simply a part of qualitative research. With short chapters and accessibly written, What is Qualitative Interviewing? explores a broad range of interview types and practices, and provides illuminating examples with diagrams and extracts.
This book quickly covers the main points of qualitative interviewing, but doesn’t go in depth. It’s a good starting piece but a thorough understanding of the topic definitely requires further reading.
