I quick (less than 200 pages) overview of Willie's life and work. The hardcover is gorgeous.
Another John Willie was released close to the time this one was, but it looks more indepth at almost 500 pages.

Im actually not sure how to rate biographies. I don't read a lot of biographies to be honest but I thought this was pretty good because it clearly showed you where subject was at each point of his life and explained other aspects of culture or law that played into effect into the subjects life or work. A ton of beautifully printed examples of Willie's work as well, which is worth the price in and of itself.
