Rate this book
As Mother Nature wreaks her vengeance, a hidden truth holds the power to save humanity . . . or destroy it.

In a world plagued by the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, Cassie Finnegan navigates the chaos as a dedicated member of FEMA's Urban Search and Rescue team. From hurricanes to wildfires, Cassie has witnessed the devastation wrought by nature's fury firsthand. But the last six months have been like nothing she’s ever seen.

And that was before the heart-breaking discovery she makes amidst the wreckage of an Oklahoma disaster zone.
Hidden beneath layers of rubble, Cassie finds Jane Doe—a survivor with no memory of her past, no clues to her identity, and no one to claim her. Drawn to the vulnerability and isolation of this enigmatic young woman, Cassie embarks on a mission to unravel the mystery shrouding Jane's existence.

As Cassie delves deeper into Jane's past, she uncovers a series of inexplicable events that defy rational explanation. Strange occurrences swirl around Jane like a tempest, drawing unwanted attention from dangerous quarters. It becomes clear to Cassie that Jane is no ordinary survivor—she's a puzzle wrapped in a mystery, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.

As cataclysmic events escalate across the globe at an alarming rate, and dark forces converge on Jane Doe, Cassie is faced with an impossible decision—protect the world from an impending threat or safeguard the fragile life of the young woman who holds the key to it all.

But before she can make that choice, Cassie must confront an impossible truth— one that threatens to unravel the very fabric of reality itself.

Fast paced, this book was one I could not put down. I am hoping that there will be more of this series in the future, as there were a lot of characters who I want to get to know better. Brooke intrigued me from the start, and I loved how the story tied up at the end. Highly recommend, though I will warn you, it is hard to read all the things that have happened with climate change.

Superlative

Since Anne Rice has passed away R. D. Brady has become my favorite author. Her story telling is superlative. And her use of facts mixed fiction is is intriguing. Don't miss out on her books.

Unfortunately, this was not up to R.D. Brady’s high standards.

The plot and storyline were highly predictable. The characters weren't fleshed out as well as in previous books. They seemed extremely one-dimensional.

I have to say again the storyline was terrible; it was so bad I wonder if AI wrote it.

Please don't start writing stories like this, as you are one of my few favourite writers (I have purchased every one of your books because your name is on them, without reading the synopsis).

Mad Mother Nature

Excellent story telling.
Being from Grand Rapids Michigan we have seen Lake Michigan do some really strange things. This story is so great, Ok could not put it down, talking to my friends I always say mother nature is angry. This book hit right to the heart but it was so fun, in formative, suspenful, educational, a great read.

Great storyline

Excellent read. Had nonstop action throughout with hard facts and mythology scattered in to make it interesting. The natural disasters and rescues were well written and exciting. Kudos to the author. I love a good natural disaster book or movie. This book had all the bells and whistles you could want in that type of story! Loved it!!!!!

Good Read!!

I'm a huge fan of R.D. Brady, her Belial Series are some of my favorite novels. I really wish someone would make a Belial Movie series... This is a stand alone book that has some similarities to the Belial books. A strong, kind, female lead character, mythological characters with unbelievable abilities. Non stop action. It's a good read.

This is a great story! A really good continuation to the plot, more of the same nicely developed characters, once the story begins it is a well paced, high energy adventure which hits all of the right notes for me! A really great read which I do recommend!

Storm Rage

Nicely written. I enjoyed it and shuddered at times on how it hits home with all the weather events we are experiencing today.

Another RD Brady hit.

What really needs to be said it's, Brady at her best. Somehow she is always able to make a gripping tale out of a dust mote.

Expected better

Not a bad novel but at times I felt it was preaching. Knocked off another star for typos. Took an odd turn toward the end…Overall, have read better and worse

Can it continue????

As with all her other books, R.D.Brady has outdone herself. I can't imagine Storm Rage being any different. The story line, is as believable as any of the other series. I am truly grateful for the tale and hopeful that the story of the twin demigods will continue. As always, thank you for a wonderful tale.
