It's love at first sight when Aja Jackson meets the Southside of Chicago's Rahmeek "King Rah" Jones. They began a love affair that felt so right that nothing could possibly go wrong. After doing a five year sentence Rahmeek has been released from prison and is ready to link back up with his old connect Juan Rodriquez. There's just one person standing in the way of their relationship, and Rahmeek's journey back to the top-- Aja's brother Markese. Markese takes pride in the fact that he has raised Aja and takes her personal life serious. Markese hails from the Westside of Chicago. He holds court in the street alongside his crew Killa, Mont, Nisa, and Boogie. Juan Rodriquez is currently Markese's connect, and Markese has no intentions on sharing his wealth. Juan has a meeting with Markese and Rahmeek and things turn sour really fast. Life in the streets is one thing ,but their personal lives are a whole different story. Relationships are tested when secrets are exposed. A series of events in the streets and in the sheets will have dire consequences for everyone involved. Follow the crew that's living for Love and Dying for Loyalty.
This is my third times reading from Mz Lady P. This author did a good job. Living for Love and dying for loyalty is a good read. The storyline is on point. The characters are an amazing. I didn't feel bad for Carmen and Mont because they're a dead wrong. So far, I enjoyed reading this book. I'm looking forward to read part 2 of this book,
I love Mz Lady P. That proposal and so far the wedding scene was EVERYTHING. I feel like I'm on crack I'm addicted to ALL her books. Kajarie and Tahari are my absolute favorites tho.....And I'm in love with Kaine, Kash, Lil Dro and Big Malik. I JUST HAD TO GET THAT OFF MY CHEST !!!
This was an entertaining story with a few twist and turns .The writer keeps her foot on the gas and never let's up with the pace of the story. The storyline has been done before but we get a new look on some new players and it's just good.
I don't care Markese was arrogant and bogus. I really feel Trish could so better and should have cut her loses. Rah was wack for actions in the hospital and me and him would have had it out forget the situation. Carmen is a clown
Good Read😍 it's nice too hear about the other family. Trish is a real strong woman. Not sure if I could've stayed.. But the heart ❤❤ wants what it want. Aja is my kind of little sister. And of course the Men are always enjoyable 😁
I can’t understand how you come up with such characters I have read mostly all of your books and I love them I love the fake how do you make Ramik and Marcus become so close
I like how everything fall into place with Markese and Trish they were childhood sweetheart teenage love now that when the relation change to keep a man happy is hard matter what u do to be loyal it's always a chick comes between they never stay in they lane
Too good and juicy with so much action I could not put down! This was Mz. Lady P debuted from awhile back and man what a debut!! She was destined to be a beast with her pen 🖊️ game! The characters, the plot, and unexpected enemies will keep you flipping the pages and hurrying to grab part 2!!
I feel that all Mz.Lady P books are link together. I wish everyone would go in the order as to how you should read it. But this was good gonna continue reading.
This is a page turner. I couldn't put it down. I am am ready for part 2! I did not see that twist coming! And when ------ was buried alive I was like yooo! This book has non stop action!
I’m sure Carmen ain’t dead. That’s why there are two mire books. It never ends that easily. Glad to read Rah and Aja’s story. I wonder if Thug will be in the other books.
Rahmeek was just released from prison, and settling down was the last thing on his mind, until he was met Aja. He puts the love that he has for Aja to the side, due to his beef with Markese. He pushes his woman away, and that's the worst thing that he could've ever done, because pushing her away is hurting the both of them. Aja is definitely a force to be reckon with. Due to Aja's upbringing, she's not impressed with flashy cars, the fast lifestyle, money, or drugs doesn't faze her. She has a brother that would spoil her until no tomorrow, but she wants to make her brother proud, by making it on her own. Aja loves her family, but she wants to do her own thing. She falls hard for Rahmeek, but once again the beef is drawing a wedge between everyone. Aja then chooses love over everything, and she doesn't know if she made the right choice. She's pushed her brother farther away, and Rahmeek pushes her away. She's left with wondering what to do. Trish loves Aja, because she's part of Markese, and Markese and Aja are all she knows since the age of 14. Markese is the love of Trish's life, and she knows that her man's heart is in the streets. However, when she finds out that her man is cheating, it breaks her heart, but to add insult to injury, her man has had 2 kids on her. She's overwhelmed with the infidelity, and tries to end her life. She then is there to put the pieces of the life back together. Markese is good to his phamily, but he's not treating Trish like he knows he need to. Having to hide his kids from his woman, is starting to weigh a toll on him. He wants to break the news to Trish, but he doesn't know how, until Trish finds out on her own. Trish goes into hiding, and talks to someone that was supposed to be a mutual friend to both Trish and Markese. The mutual friend teams up with mother of Markese's children, and now tension is in the air. Markese, Rahmeek, Aja, and Trish takes you a roller-coaster ride on what it takes to be in love with a hustler.
The storyline is an interesting read about the different characters growing up in Chicago. King Rah and Markese unknowingly are involved with the same females. First there's Carmen Rodriguez with her ruthless family connections, so the question is the love of her life money...? Then there's hot-headed Markese who definitely loves both Trish and Aja for life or death. But It's all love for the families as they run the streets of Chi town. I think the southside/westside rivalries keep the drama going in this novel. Minus a few spelling errors, it's 3***. Enjoy!
Banger! Markese and Rehmeek couldn't catch a break!I couldn't believe that Carmen was Markese side chick/ baby momma and Rehmeek ex-girlfriend that left him when he went to prison. It was messed up what happen to Trish by Montana too! I love how the girls all band together for Trish to get Montana! When they went to prison I thought everything was going to spiral instead found out the detective was Markese and Aja father! When all the crew got married it was like a fairytale! I'm too excited I can't wait to read part 2 now!

This was a very good read. I loved both crews and their loyalty. For a minute, I was concerned with how emotional and unstable they acted. Glad they got it together. Carmen was a surprise. Side chick at its worst. This book could have ended right here, but on to Part Two. Definitely recommended.
These characters gave me so much drama, lies, and secrets. This was a emotional roller-coaster fareal. I cannot stand how pathetic Carmen was though. I was shocked with Markese and his infidelity having a double life basically. I cannot wait to see how loyalty they have in the rest of the books. #PageTurner
Fast paced reader laced with drama and some crazy twist and turns. My first read from the author but definitely won't be the last. Looking forward to the next installment can't wait to see what the couples get into next.
This bunch really is a rowdy one. It puts things into perspective and makes you wonder will love conquer loyalty or are they able to exist in harmony? I can't wait to see what unfolds next. I really recommend this book!
Rahmeek,Markese and Hassan definitely had some riders on their team. Regardless of how much ish they put their ladies through the my definitely held them down in the end all because of the love and loyalty they had.
Mz Lady P did a great job with the one. The characters are well developed in the series and the plot is great. All the couples are going through trouble times. They ate living for love and dying for loyalty! On to the next one.
Mz. Lady P is an outstanding Author. Every nook of hers that I have read is drama filled and exciting. If you want to read a good book please try one of her books you'll be glad you did.
The book had a couple errors but all in all it was well written. Loved the book and story line. Glad that all turned out well for Aja and Trish. I'm nervous for part 2 because I have a bad feeling that things are going to hit to fan.
