Nearing Midnight: As it Was in the Days of Lot

Rate this book
Some of the world’s top scientists have, since 1947, been setting the imaginary “doomsday clock” to keep up with how near we might be to atomic destruction. They believe that when the hour and minute hand reach midnight, humankind will have completely been destroyed through atomic warfare.

Movement of that symbolic indicator of the last time grows more frightening with each tick. But there is only one accurate timepiece that signals when the midnight hour approaches for God’s prophetic Word—the Holy Bible.

In Nearing As It Was in the Days of Lot, noted biblical prophecy expert Terry James explores, in detail and through the prism of God’s Word, long-ago prophesied matters now unfolding hourly.

With clarity and prophetic insight based on biblical scriptures, Terry James in “Nearing Midnight” explores events hurtling the world towards the End of the Age. Currently this can spell the possibility of nuclear war, a financial collapse in America and the rise of the globalists with their drive for a New World Order. Yet with all the trouble facing the world as it barrels towards the seven and a half years of judgement in the Great Tribulation he ends the book with a blessed hope in the coming of our Lord.

Like all of Terry James’s books it is well-written and absorbing especially for those interested in Biblical prophesy.

I am a huge fan of Terry James' books. I have bought all the nonfiction ones and thoroughly enjoyed them. However this book was a disappointment. It was not done like the others, with each chapter contributed by a different author on a different aspect of the main subject of the book. This was basically a boring, repetitive blogpost that droned on and really did not give much insight into anything new at all. Very disappointing.

great book

This is a wonderful book bringing to attention the time we are living in and how it relates to scripture. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
