Pietro’s dying. His love for Bella strengthens him, but her controlling father wants her back and is threatening a war.
Just when Piper and her hot Highlander think they might get some time to explore Lachlan’s newfound appreciation of modern spa tubs, Daria returns and starts targeting everyone and everything Piper loves. Not about to let her evil ancestor destroy her love life, her best friend’s happiness, or even her wardrobe, Piper sets out to vanquish her.
And Sam and Evie still aren’t engaged.
*** Be sure to read Lost Highlander and Revenge, books 1 and 2 in the Lost Highlander series! And look for book 4 in summer 2014! ***
I enjoy the relationship the characters build with one another. The world building is centered around an old Scottish castle & is interesting. My only complaint is that it is dragged out through several books.
The storyline just gets better. I feel like I'm in Scotland, I love it. Lachlan is a fabulous rounded character and honestly a bit of a dish in my mind. Lucky Piper.
Although Lachlan and Piper are together and Petro is back with Bella, life in any time line isn't right. I don't want to give away a great storyline, but there is evil brewing.
And better. Although in principle I do not like cliff hangars or books in a series, I made an exception in this case because I fell in love with the characters in the first book. I have not been disappointed and cannot wait to read this to the finish!!
OMG! What a place to come to a close! This series is an amazing find and I highly recommend the Lost Highlander Series to those who like the modern mixed in with the past. I'm perplexed by Sam and Evie's distance. I do hope they work that out. Lachlan and Piper are an amazing couple. It is like they know each other's inner most feelings and thoughts. I love it! Going to pick up the next book!
I am combining book 3, "Revenge" with book 4, "Reckoning" because they are short books. I love time travel stories and all four of these have been short books. Not the best but entertaining.
It's a nice interesting quick read with lots of twists and turns. Kuddos to the author for her imagination which makes you want to reach out for somthing more.
Lather, rinse, repeat. Is the long arch just to have Piper and Lachlan together? I'm having a had time reading any purpose to the long game as opposed to the individual plots of each book.
