Katischuo in Greek means a strength that prevails- I don't think there is a word to describe better a man who lives a life of service to others in the face of dangerous opposition. The invitation to lock arms with Victor and be a Dangerous Gentleman is what this book will inspire you to do. You cannot read this and stay in a place of apathy or resignation. In today's culture and the church, we need men who will be courageous and live with radical faith. If that is you, then this book will be the catalyst to becoming a man on the frontline. The riveting stories exemplify that if you say YES to God and don't live in fear, He will use you in incredible ways. As a man, a good legacy is intentional- Victor is living and leaving a legacy of dangerous obedience- there is no other way. I say this as a fellow warrior on the frontline; this has reinvigorated me to leave it all on the field! Why are you still reading this - go buy it now!

I have followed Victor Marx via Social Media and his "DIB" daily emails for a few years now and this book was a real reality check for any man with sons and grandsons. (Actually for both men and women...) Our society is in a dangerous spin (human trafficking, moral decay, etc.) The reason for this is that men have acquiesced being strong leaders and have become weak if even willing to lead at all! Victor illustrates in a gut punch fashion what we have allowed and provides guidance on how to become Brave, Courageous and Dangerous Men again and how to lead the next generations to be that way as well. To close, I want to quote Dr. Jordan B. Peterson... "A harmless man is not a good man. A good man, is a very, very dangerous man who has it under voluntary control." Our future needs us to step up men!

The Dangerous Gentleman reminded me that even as I get older, I still have a place in God’s Kingdom. I have always tried to be a reader because leaders are readers. I recommend this book to all Men and Women, friends and family because it will inspire you to not grow weary in well doing for in due time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up. The reality is that the life of a believer cannot be about self-preservation. Following Jesus wherever he leads may prove to be dangerous. I give this book 5 stars.

If I hadn’t had family staying several nights at our house this last week, I would have read this book in one sitting! I couldn’t put it down but I had to to pay attention to my extended family!

It is full of real life adventure that puts you on the edge of your seat! It is surprising, shocking, extremely detailed and pulls you right in, like you were there too! Each chapter has a thread running through it that always ties back to the Dangerous Gentleman description/directives!

I think Victor has done a magnificent job describing the need for dangerous men in today’s world! It is Biblical, it is manly, it is heroic, and it is so needed in our culture! We need men of courage to lead our country back to what it was! It pushed my mindset to get involved in many things and to help the helpless and to look after single moms, widows, orphans, and other folks who need an advocate!

I’ll be re-reading this book again soon to catch anything I might have missed the first time! I’d highly recommended reading this book if you care at all about what has become of our society and culture & if you have a desire to be an influential person to help!

This is a must read! God is real and this book is a powerful testimony of very real ways He is moving. Find encouragement and empowerment to act out the necessary actions to do your part, by Gods power, to bring goodness into this fallen world. There is good. There is Holy Spirit power. There is radical things happening. And Victor has an entertaining and enjoyable ‘his’story telling style. You will not regret reading this.

Wow!!! First thing about this book, it is a very easy read. What an action packed book. Keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end. So encouraging and full of advice for the men if they want to change their homes and their lives. Evidence of how the Lord Jesus provides and protects when we are in His will. Thank you Victor for sharing your story with us.

Incredible book. The only time I put it down was to process what I just read( some tough, brutal, sad things happen in this book) or because something else came up. This book is like a modern day “ The Hiding Place”

I was fortunate enought to be able to obtain a copy of this book before it's release. To say I am not the most avid reader is an understatement. I hardly ever finish a book, but this book captivated me and I read it cover to cover in a little over a week. To hear the stories that Victor shared in this book challenged me to take a good look at where I fall short in my compassion for humanity, particularly our troubled youth, women and children. I am inspired by Victor's bravery, tenacity and faith in Christ as he shares the many challenges he, his family and crew have had along their journey to help people in need. This is an incredibly impacting book that left an imprint on me as I'm sure it will for anyone who picks it up.

Great story of overcoming a horrific childhood and finding purpose in God's calling on his Life.
Victor and Eillen started a juvenile prison ministry and reached thousands of kids who have been forgotten.
They've gone on to minister in areas of the world where no other missionary teams will go.
The Dangerous Gentleman is not about violence but standing in the gap for those that can't take care of themselves, it's about doing what is right and being prepared to do what it takes when called upon.
