Rae Richen is the author of this gripping kidnapping story. The work is very well done in terms of technique and style. Drug trafficking, terrorism and political corruption, topics as current as they are universal, find their adequate expression in this book, making flesh and life in the groups of characters on which the action gravitates: kidnappers and hitmen, kidnapped people and negotiators.
The characters are very well described and detailed, and it is also very interesting to see their metamorphosis as the story progresses. The author's great ability to create this story, where current affairs and fiction are intertwined, make it a work of pure enjoyment. I look forward to reading more book of this author.

This is a thrilling, visceral and captivating novel written by the talented author Rae Richen in which danger, mystery, action and redemption are part of every single page mixed in an emotional web.

The story develops around a secret child trafficking ring and the people who will go to great lengths not to lose the millionaire income that such a repugnant business provides them.

Glyn Jones is easily one of the best protagonists I’ve had the chance of discovering in a long time. He’s relatable, realistic, and vulnerable but strong.

With plenty of twists, turns, and memorable characters, this story fulfilled my expectations and captivated me from the opening chapter. For those who are on the search for a thrilling and suspenseful novel, this is definitely one to check out.

Interesting characters.

It is a crime novel with unique and peculiar protagonists. The story develops around the abduction of Trace Gowan, a young hip-hop drummer, that will be investigated by his friend Glyn along with the rest of the band and his grandma since the police don't seem to care.
What begins as a simple abduction quickly turns into a complex story with a dangerous background in which all the characters must face different difficulties. The plot is entertaining and the characters give it a different and engaging touch. I like how the story develops and the twists and turns it has.
It is a good read for people who enjoy thrilling and fast-paced stories!

When Glyn Jones' friend and his band's drummer is kidnapped, the whole band gets involved in the search. They discover much more than simple kidnapping is going on. That's when they call in Glyn's Grandma Willie. She has her ear to the ground when stuff happens. That's because she teaches writing at the police academy and at Oregon's federal prison.

Read and discover how a hip-hop band and a grandmother uncover a big-time operation.
