All bets are off the table. And I'm on it. Strapped to it. Because my cocky new boss isn't just controlling; he's Dominant with a capital D.
Rylan Blake just secured the internship of her dreams. Fresh out of college and as green as they come, she’s been hired to shadow the head of one of the largest publishing houses in New York. But Rylan's dream job quickly proves to be a nightmare when her new boss turns out to be the biggest control-freak on the planet.
Cabot Reed runs his publishing empire with an iron fist, which is why Reed Publishing has remained at the top for decades. He demands excellence in his life–both personally and professionally–and tolerates nothing less.
When their paths cross outside of their downtown office building, and Rylan finds herself in the underground BDSM club where her new boss spends his nights, she discovers that Reed's need to dominate isn’t just a facet of his professional life; it’s the very fabric of his existence.
This is a complete, steamy romance duet that includes two full novels: Illicit Education and Point of Contention.
Steamy Romance Author Love, Lust, and a little Chaos
Happily ever after... with a little bit of chaos and a lot of heat between the sheets!
Jessalyn Jameson writes sexy, troubled guys and the strong women who love them. The road to happily ever after may not be easy, but it is always worth the wild ride.
When she’s not writing, you can usually find her with a drink in hand and a far-off look in her eyes, always dreaming up her next chaotic couple. Jessalyn resides in Sunny Southern California with her husband, their teen daughter, and a sweet -but-wild rescue dog.
It might have been a five star if it wasn’t for the typos (I’m sorry I just find that annoying) It kind of gives fifty shades but SO MUCH BETTER. Also the vibes reminded me of the twisted series. So basically those two mixed into one.
As someone who knows about BDSM and D/s, I was happy to see that the author was well versed in what is meant by being safe and sane, and especially that the Dom (Top) is not finished just because s/he puts the implement down that they are using. The sub (bottom) needs to be comforted and brought down from their high gently, with love and care. Ms. Jameson knows her stuff! Besides the BDSM, there is the sub-plot about Cabot being able to take over his father's company, so he will retire, and Cabot can finally get rid of the legal team he doesn't like, and more to the point, doesn't trust! I enjoyed reading "the Duet", and would recommend it to my friends who are interested, or like reading about, alternative lifestyles.
I am so glad I got the double book, otherwise I would have wasted no time getting the 2nd one. This book had me screaming at them both in my head. You'll understand why. Such a good series.
