Chino is back, or is he? All Lisa knows is someone is playing tricks with her mind. The thought of her deceased lover being alive shook her to the very core of her being. Happily married and living the life as a doctor's wife Lisa is enjoying the benefits of the good life and has no plans to relinquish them. But Donnell, her ex is not ready to let Lisa go just yet. Decisions, decisions, decisions which one will Lisa choose...
I gave it a five star cause it had my interest from being to the end. My god Shark is Chino dad wow what a shock I was. And the stuff is going to hit the fan when the true identity of Jordan daddy I s reveal. What is going to happen when the Shark children learn that they are brother and sister. On to book 3
This book continued with the same great page turning action as the first! Even though Lisa's problems continue to mount, she is still able to get what she wants and have men falling at her feet. Looking forward to reading part 3.
This series is like a twisted, sordid, violent soap opera that you can't look away from. Lisa finally settles down with a "normal" man and has a happy home and a beautiful child, but her ex and baby daddy returns from the grave. Is it bad that I wanted her to be with a cheating, scheming, lying drug dealer? Maybe, but this author had my head all screwed up and I just wanted Lisa to ditch her new doctor husband and get back with Chino.
Chino returns to claim his woman and his son, but not without seeking revenge on the man who tried to kill him and Lisa. Nobody is to be trusted in this book. LIsa basically has no one to back her up, not even her best friend or mother. She's so alone and confused and desperate. There was one scene when she is so distraught over her situation, she is in a drunken stupor and her husband tries to console her and she calls him by Chino's name, but he loves her so much, he doesn't even care. He was willing to take her any way he could get her. That was so heartbreaking.
The characters jumped off of the pages and there were plenty of shocking moments I cannot wait to read the next book. I don't know how this author has anything more to pull out of her box of deception, but I'm eager to find out.
Blunt you have done it again. This book was still good like part 1. It picks up right where one ended. Why is Chino still trying to be a bad boy? He really needs to leave Lisa alone and let her enjoy her life with the doctor. All Lisa mother wants is her mortgage paid. She needs to stop trying to get over on people. I didn't see what was coming with Camaria and Donnell, but I did figure it was bound to come. All this drama that comes with book 2 you wouldn't have figured it out. Snakes are coming out the wood works. I can't wait for part 3 to drop.
What in the hell is so good about Lisa?! She everything that a woman shouldn't be... a wolf in sheep's clothing. I hate what she's done to Chris, playing with that man's heart. Shark had a heart of gold, and I hated his ending. I wish he would make a grand appearance. I still believe that Chino only cares about no one, but Lisa, and himself. Camaria wants love, but I'm not sure if Donell can give her what she needs, while still in love with Lisa. I hope that See Shark's daughter give Natasha exactly what she's seeking...I can't stand her!
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa... Man Chino is apparently that dude. Lisa had too many issues this go round. You would think she learned her lesson at the first book. Chris is a decent dude. Any man willing to take care of a child that's not his and doing everything possible to make his marriage is a keeper. Abu is an interesting addition to everything happening. I can't wait for the next installment because I can tell Shantel is about to do some serious damage.
I really enjoyed part 2 but Lisa man oh man she is such a snake with her lying cheating a$$. Oh yeah the title is 'The Heart of A Cheatin' Woman', lol. I can't wait to start book 3 to find out what happens to Chino will he survive Tanya, Abu and Dolla's betrayal? Don't pass this one up you won't be disappointed.
Another amazing read I can't wait for part three. This book picks right. back up where it stopped from. If u haven't read this book u are truly missing out on a great read.
