This might be my favorite of the Steamship titles so far. I've never felt so giddy reading a romance manga. These two are precious and gentle with each other and even with the sexy scenes, there's a sense of old-fashioned courtship (or wooing as the text calls it). Plus theres so much blushing and genuine respect. I love it.

This was actually quite good and very sweet. I had expected given the blurb and everything that this would just be sexy times. But instead it is mostly wholesome with some sex (very nicely/tastefully/sweetly). Nanna is definitely discovering that sex is fun, Luveigh is a great lover and really takes care of her.
I actually am hoping and shipping these two together and I look forward to seeing them get closer and hopefully one day Nanna will accept his hand in marriage. Until then Luveigh is doing all he can to woo her which is definitely working (and not just for her, haha).
I also like the side-characters!

This was honestly so much better than most of the romantasy that I’ve read. It was very sweet! I also appreciated all the talks of consent and routine check ins to make sure both parties were okay.

I appreciate that the virgins act like virgins.

She can heal, but only the person she gives her virginity to, LMAO.

Art: cuter style, which throws me off a bit considering the lewd sex scenes
Story: fine
Plot: fine

Recap: bumps into a stranger, summoned by the Hero of Light but her master refuses, she's kidnapped, asked by the Hero to give her virginity to one of his soldiers, they fumble because virgins and it's kinda endearing, she passes out for two days and he's a little healed, he wants to marry her, she refuses, the Hero takes her under his custody and confronts her employers, Shadow Hero moves her into his home, courting her, and ends with second healing session.

Curious to see if we ever discover if Nanna's dreams are actually memories and if they may indeed tie to her "shadow hero." She certainly never expected that simply spending time out in town on her day off would lead to her meeting the prince and country healers, especially the one that her favorite book is based off of. Nanna has a unique gift, not that anyone knew about it with her previous unregistered status, but this gift means that she is of high value to the heroes, especially the shadow hero. He seems rather attached to her very quickly with his insistence of getting married and refusal to leave her alone, though he does give her space when requested and certainly never seems to attempt to force anything on her (at least as long as you don't take their first meeting into account and rather literally being spirited away, though that turns out to be for both of their benefits). The house Nanna "belonged" to previously seems questionable at best; it's certainly better for her to be with the heroes and out of that house if nothing else.

🤔 how can I say this? It’s super cute but sometimes ridiculous? Well at least some parts are but I still like it. 😅 Nanna is an undocumented servant with a special gift of healing. The ridiculous part is that she can only heal the person she gives her virginity to. But the man who she heals has a curse placed upon him, is shy and dotes on her so much that it is so cute. Both inexperienced there is so much questions asked and consent given when they sleep with each other. But back to the story line Lord Luveigh basically rescues her from the rich family that kept her in servitude and he asks Nanna for her hand in marriage. She said that she wants to be more independent and didn’t want marriage out of his sense of responsibility. What will vol 2 bring? Hopefully some drama or a longer storyline because it looks like the healing is almost done. 😏

I am cracking UP at this premise because....I mean it's nothing short of ridiculous, but it does its job to bring the two of them together. this is what I was hoping the villainess and the demon knight series would be! it's got a strong, dark, protector-type guy with a sweet but rather timid healer. I love a few things about this so far - the consent, the focus on her pleasure, and all the rather adorable blushing/mutual pining that's going on.

this plays out especially in the beginning like a kind of cinderella retelling and pretty quickly turns into a sweet (and spicy) romance. some of the dialogue is a bit awkward and nanna's got very little personality so far, but all in all it was a good start to a series that's clearly been written for women. I'm in for the next volume!

Nanna is a servant and a secret healer. Only giving the gift of her body will provide healing. She is not located on the register of her county, which had been conquered when she was young (during which she lost both her parents). Lord Luveigh is the Shadow Hero. He has been cursed, which has effected his magical abilities. He not only does his duty has a knight, but he's darn good at it, but since he doesn't want any attention, so his friend takes all the credit publicly and his known as the Sun Hero (or Sunlight Hero, something like that). Obviously, she is convinced to heal him and they fall in love.

3.5ish *
Started out bland but it got better. The smut is ok, and the relationship and humor takes a few chapters to figure itself out. Considering what the premise is, the story tries way too hard to have worldbuilding and Plot. Throwing in all of the 'politics' felt off with the overall tone. The second half is more enjoyable, and I like that these two are kinda awkward but cute. Would read the next.

Ok, yes, this is smut but it's smutty manga for women and while the premise is silly (her magic is perfect healing but only for the one she gives her virginity to and he's got some affliction that's like a curse that hasn't been healed by anything else) it's actually really sweet. The shadow hero is super shy and also a virgin and wants to marry her and he's definitely dangerous but he's like a cinnamon roll shadow daddy. Their first time is so awkward. I loved it. They're so awkward and sweet.

Decent little story but for a 17+ book, I was expecting more plot, less story. I'm not a fan of them erasing certain areas on the characters but I get it, that's mature content. I'm interested to know if this pairing of theirs works out. As of now the pacing is slow and the two main characters are nervous for each other which doesn't make me as the reader too eager to keep on reading. But I'm willing to give the second book a shot.

A bit convoluted in terms of plot, but I can't say I hated it or disliked it. FMC is inclined to use her ability for him since the shadow healer saved her land from destitution and because he is the inspiration for the savior of her favorite novel. Lust to love was pretty quick, but I feel like that's the norm for this type of manga.

The characters are rather an odd bunch, but I do appreciate their uniqueness. Honestly, the story is overall really cute (with spicy scenes). There isn't much to the plot and it moves at a pretty fast pace, which I think is good for this manga.

It’s… fine, I guess? The story with her previous employers (owners) is cartoonishly evil, and it is very instalove. I like the hero’s character design, if not his personality. 😅 I definitely want to like this more than I actually do.

This is actually really cute! I'm glad there's a plot and not just spice every chapter. Luveigh and Nanna are adorable 🥰 I definitely plan on reading volume two.

the heroine is much more level-headed than I expected for such a premise. She really said, "Marriage is just a forever job, I'm not marrying whomever." You gotta respect her.
