Noah Gantz and Kayan's crew finally brought the Taliz swarm to the negotiating table and ushered in a new era Tytondom. It would be time to kick back and relax if a group of diplomats hadn't just been kidnapped. The Altion, Hellenger, Walen, and Gleam people want their VIPs back, and they want answers.
Can Noah and his steadfast companions rescue these cherished heroes?
The answers will be found on more than one exotic homeworld. Each member of Kayan's crew will face a dangerous plot that could ruin them all, or deliver rewards to the stars and back.
Even when they wish to negotiate, the enemy just wishes to subjugate.
A simple hostage rescue. What could possibly go wrong? For our heroes a lot. I have not seen Noah brought so low before. But he is our hero, and recovers, after much effort and repeated expenditure of energy. But saving Kayan and his friends is non-negotiable for Noah.
I’m really enjoying the story it’s been built up extremely well but each installment is only a couple hours reading for me if I was paying 999 for these I would be really happy. I think I’m actually paying about $12 for them through Amazon.
The book was moving positively until the identity of the protagonist became known. The opportunity to move the galaxy spanning story forward was lost. Maintaining a small cast of characters appears to be a limiting factor on this series. There are galaxies out there, yet the stories appear to be written as one would expect for a play in a very small theatre in a small town. The core group of characters are great and the addition of a younger member has enhanced the group interaction. Hopefully, the story will move forward after this episode (or is it episodes - have not reached the end of the book) comes to its conclusion.
I am an artist of sorts, it amazes me of the quality of their artwork. And to hold a series to such a high level of interest for and extend experience is daunting task. Thank you I am truly enjoying the ride.
