I've been blown away by the natural beauty of New Mexico since moving here about a year and a half ago. This book breaks down the state into regions, little drives you can make, bringing understanding to what you are seeing, how it developed, and history. Great photos, charts, and explanations for people across a range of science knowledge with a glossary of terms in the back. I really enjoyed it.
Another great addition to the RG series. The guide is well-organized, provides beautiful photos for context, and maps that are easily interpretable for the armchair geologist.
