Love doesn't care when it comes or who it latches onto. For Roman, it snatched his heart away the first time he laid eyes on Kelly. Although he knew what he wanted, playing it safe seemed like the best thing to do until it wasn't.
While Kelly has her reservations about becoming involved with someone she works so closely with, there is just something about Roman that she cannot deny.
But it isn't just work that makes things complicated. How will two people navigate something that they cannot control and find their way to happiness?
I smiled the entire time read this book ,Roman knew what he wanted and nothing was going to stand in his way. The way I screamed at Kelly to get her man despite the small age difference, lol I was rooting hard for them . A little dinner and wine was all they needed.
Kelly and Roman have been dancing around this attraction for a year. But Roman isn't playing anymore. He has it bad for Kelly and will cook his way into her heart if he has to. But can Kelly get past him being so much younger?
I love a good VDay romance! Roman and Kelly are too damn adorable for words. The way Kelly doesn't want to let her guard down, but he makes it impossible not to. The care and intention in all of his actions made me swoon. Taking care of her, and her friends and making sure his life and actions reflected his words was so great. Kelly's hesitance and the things holding her back were understandable and while I wondered when she would get out of her head, I was happy when she reached for her own happiness. And they were very sexy as well. What's better than falling in love over food and wine? Loved it.
Even with this being age gap it was super cute. It’s a short story but very filling. You get the flirting, the spice, friends, family and work. Everything. I liked her being older. Get it Kelly! Ayyyeeee!!
Almost like the best of both worlds. Kelly being a wine connoisseur and Roman being a chef. I enjoyed the food aspect of this story too. Also probably some of the best dinner parties with this kind of couple being your friend. I loved that Roman was not letting up on Kelly. Making it be known he might be young but he’s here to please and worship her. I’m glad Kelly gave it a chance. We all are deserving of being loved so tenderly.
Until I Found You is a perfect read for Valentine's Day. The steamy tension and chemistry between Roman and Kelly is everything.
I loved every moment of their story. Roman knew from day one what he wanted and didn't let up until he got Kelly. I’m telling you, this man put some pressure on Kelly with his cooking skills.
What I loved most was how he wanted to take his time getting to know Kelly and show her that he was the right man for her despite their age difference. I was lowkey fussing at Kelly because she struck gold in Roman and she wanted to fight her feelings about him.
I understood Kelly's reservations about having a relationship with Roman but her friends and Roman were right. "Mama gotta have a life too."
With February coming to an end this was the perfect way to end my month.
Miss Shanel, I absolutely adore your penmanship. This book gave me all the feels. I giggled out loud so much, I’m pretty sure I looked crazy.
“You don’t open the doors when you’re with me. You wait for me, understand? I got you.”
Roman was HIM. He was really who Kelly didn’t even know she needed. The way he loved on her and created a safe environment for her to be soft was TEW GOOD! Also he put in the work to make sure that he was ready when he stepped to her. Ugh, I levitated with how romantic he was.
I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a no drama, all feels type of book!
An age gap romance where she’s older? I’m SAT. Roman and Kelly are so freaking cute together, like just reading their story made me love love so much more🥹🫶 And both of their friend groups were so funny and their personalities really popped off the page! Also, I think this book solidified one of my favorite micro tropes being beautiful man who cooks because this is like the fifth book I’ve read in like two weeks where the man just loves cater to his girl, literally.
A very cute, Valentines Day/February novella🫶
And when I say I want a man to apply pressure and pursue me, this is what I mean!!
I loved everything about this read. Roman was that dude!!! He knew what he wanted and despite his age was all grown man. Kelly had been through a lot of frogs before she got her prince. She was so worried about what others thought but Roman made sure to show her what she was missing. What I loved the most about this story was that isn’t wasn’t any drama but just a journey to love. Amazing job Shanel !!
This was a cute and sweet OW/YM age gap. This is my first read from the author and I enjoyed it. The writing was good, the pacing was good, and the look at the dynamic between a single mom and her child particularly a son was well done imo. I think I would have liked it more if when he first spoke to his friends about his pursuit of her that it would have been more intentional and less flippant. But overall it was a solid read.
Roman and Kelly were cute. This was just the right amount of love, laughter, and all around sweetness. I understood Kelly’s hesitation and respected her reasoning behind it. I’m glad Vance didn’t give his mom or Roman too hard of a time. I would have liked more from Roman’s mom, but honestly her reaction was realistic. Savannah and Mona were good additions too.
Roman knew what he wanted and went for it. Any doubt that Kelly had he removed it from her thoughts. This book had real life situations with empty nesting and single parenting with a mother and son. Another great one Shanel
Beautifully written love story! Age aint nothing but a number, Roman was Kelly person. This was a grown and sexy romance/love story, you won't be disappointed! Family, friendship, love, laughter and wine!
This was cute but a bit repetitive. Once Valentine’s Day came and went I was not that interested in the couple. Overall an enjoyable read but nothing too exciting about it.
