Le cortège des cent démons #9

La corte dei cento demoni, Vol. 9

Rate this book

(1) The first story is about the MC, his cousin and his 'father' participating the summer tradition of 'One Hundred Ghost Stories', soon real ghosts and yokai are joining in, and an unexpected guest also shows up and a mysterious old woman also chases after the guest? That's a really good story!

(2) Another haunted house story, and it happens on a rainy day and a girl is begging the MC to help her from her murderous uncle and aunt? The ending is a bit unexpected.

(3) In the third story, curses are being sent out, not entirely out of malice but the result is still damaging. It's an interesting story about curse-users. The story itself is a bit conplicated but the themes of regret, envy and greed are well played.

(4) I really like the short story addressing the MC's missing uncle and what happened to him 26 years ago in his friend's village home, the ending part is engaging!!
